  • simply perfect

  • He looks like he could be Sade's brother...but I may be wrong.

  • No words..... Awesome.

  • Firstly, I love the song for the musical talent on show, love his voice, the spanish guitar and the sax of course!

Secondly, this song is very relevant to me at this time, half of me is sad and the other is hopeful which is exactly how this song sounds to me at least.

  • I dedicate to all that crushed my heart as a young teen, this song takes me back to 1988.

  • thank u for posting one of my fav song s from that band !!!

  • their best song

  • Used to have this cassette. I miss it so much. Used to listen to it constantly. But lost it in a move back in 93. This is my first time hearing this song since then. Funny thing is, this song means more to me now than it ever did then.

  • is that Saxa from the beat? sure has his sound..

  • Without a doubt my favorite FYC song. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for uploading.

  • Leaked from God's iPod :)

  • I love this song...it takes me back. Reflections... yeah, I'm still alive too....

  • This is so such a deep track with a sorrow feeling too it. I love the sax, and the spanish guitar though".

  • One of the best songs of their career and certainly of my life.

  • This is a very beautiful song, never heard before!

Funny, right now my merriage has ended ....

  • Simply the best song of FYC together Johnny come home.

  • it is funny ..........

  • I was 18 in 1986 when this song came out ..... I loved then and I still do. It was always the song I played in my car when I was driving home late at night. It is great road music for 'sing alongs' when your in the car by yourself !!! Great Memories !!

  • @goatdoc1

    same here . . .

  • great song by a great band ...but is it me or is this dude wearin makeup

  • @djembefola3

well its the 80s ah? anything is posible . . . what the heck the tune is awsome . . .

  • God, it really takes me back, and I was no kid. What a great time it was, great band, great song, great lyrics, and all those great lovers ..great memories...funny how it was. Thanks for the memories Roland. Wish you were back on stage.

  • Whatever happened to FYC's...they were so damn great but they just seemed to slip quietly away.

  • Simply one of the greatest pop songs ever

  • please reform

  • I love this song, great tenor sax ending!!!!

  • 1985 "Johnny Come Home" "Blue"

1986 "Suspicious Minds" "Funny How Love Is"

1987 "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" Something Wild (soundtrack)

1988 "Tired of Getting Pushed Around" 1989 "She Drives Me Crazy" "Good Thing" "Don't Look Back"

"I'm Not the Man I Used to Be" "I'm Not Satisfied"

    1991 "It's O.K."

    1996 "The Flame"

  • This song makes me cry. Very very sad tune. Wonderful music. I wish they would reform. Somehow I doubt whether they could capture the feeling of the 80s now, with its social unrest, riots on the streets, Thatcher's Government telling people to 'get on their bikes' whilst battering the life out of those who where in work and striking for better conditions. All these things made the music, the music back then came from the streets, hard, passionate, and REAL LIFE.

  • Simply the best song of FYC. I knew this song since 1986, when i was 12, and I think its harmony is one of the most beautiful of the pop.

  • I agree. This song is timeless.

  • Love this track.WHAT A VOICE!

  • Classic!

  • great to see Saxa on sax, Saxa from The Beat if you didn't know.

  • roland gift did a few bank commercials in nz about 10 years ago ...dont see much of him now

  • is there a third album of fyc?

  • Thanks for posting this one of a kind song. I used to play this song over and over on my record player! This is one of my 3 favourite songs by the FYC... Goes right under the skin, funny that...

  • That's a great track. Too bad all the other stuff got layered on top of it. Is there another link available of this song by the FYC's?

  • Not that we are aware of but for your information the files are deliberately layered on our end with logos and artists links in order to prevent YouTube recycling by lazy up-loaders, while at the same time helping to promote the artists themselves! Ta :-)
