great! yes I agree with @lhynje - I think straight tagalog lyrics would sound a notch better - however, I could be wrong, after you record it professionally with arrangements, it might catch on as it is (a bilingual song) - maybe let a girl (your wife) sing the English parts ?- that will work well.
