I really loved the 1970's CBS coverage of the various Thanksgiving Day parades hosted by actor William Conrad with various TV stars at the parades in N.Y, Philsdelphia, Detriot, and Honolulu! Those were the best day's of coverage. Today you don't have the TV stars or the wide coverage of other city parades..... generally you get only Macy's with a lot of commercials!

Hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years. I'm sure those members that are married and have children have something to tell them. The 2008 edition is almost upon us and I am looking forward to it.
