  • If you cant afford it, it is not for you. If you are going to do significant purchases for your home in the next 5 to 10 years, then it is definately worth it.

  • In closing, I would like to quote my favortite Knight's Templar from Indy and say "He chose....poorly."

  • Also, the "$6,400" price is because some poor schmuck did not have a means to pay his/her membership in a timely manner (2-3 years) and got stuck with about 7-10 years worth of interest. Again, not DirectBuy's fault because he/she cannot control their lifestyle choices for them. You CAN pay in cash up front or several other methods. In addition, $379/mo was his/her choice and could have done the membership differently if they would have just explored their options more carefully.

  • First of all, the reason that it is "high pressure" is because the manufacturers confidentiality agreement ONTO DirectBuy (not DirectBuy's fault); and the claim that you can "never" come back if you decline is BS! The normal waiting period after a membership denial is 7 years; After which you can choose to attend another Open House and choose membership at that time.
