You've got it exactly backwards.

Islam does not teach freedom-is that America's fault? And there are plenty of non-whites that enjoy freedom in the West that they would not enjoy in their native countries.

You got to be kidding me. Who's the one used to import thousands of black slaves into America for its early ''economic growth''? How Martin Luther King was born in a land of ''freedom and equality'' still fight for the civil rights for its own people until the last moment of his death.....The non whites were enjoying freedom in the West? you must be blind to see a separation barriers between America and Mexico..you must be blind to see guantanamo bay, ETC
I don't know much about Yanukovich. But I believe Timoshenko should lose. The Orange revolution was backed by the trilateral Brzezinski faction of NWO, i.e. the Orange politicians are NWO puppets. Also the Orange politicians have done shit so far, so they should be punished by ppl. Ppl should be able to punish their politicians. That's called 'Justice for All'.
its sad. ukrainian politicians are split between those who will sell their people out to european businessmen vs. those who will sell their people out to russian businessmen. and both are happy to sell their people out the ukrainian buisnessmen. yanukovich is linked to the murderous and repressive kuchma government. yushenko failed as a political leader but he brought free speech back to ukraine and decreased the amount of thuggery in government. we cannot expect the same from yanukovich.
Assuming you are a Ukrainian, you should become a political activist. You can run for an office. If you don't feel comfortable with running for an office, then do other stuff: protesting, strike, putting up posters, boycott Corps, home school your kids if you have some, make a website, make a radio or TV stations, etc. It seems that you don't like either one. So what are you gonna do about it?
I'm a Ukrainian-American brought up in the community descended from Ukrainian-American W2 refuges. Living in Ukraine two years ago shattered many of the illusions that I had been raised with that making Ukraine a capitalist country and purging all Russian elements would solve its problems.Ukraine was hit very hard after the fall of communism and what had been a repressive community gave way to an exploitive and shattered noncommunity. i would like to go back to Ukraine and help. thank you.

to quote brat 2: moskali ne zemlak. :) i'm teasing you ReDDgo. Russians are good people, but there is no reason to tell Ukrainians that they are really Russian when most insist they are not. What is the point?
Do not try to unite the Ukrainian people and political prostitutes who served yesterday Hitler and today serve Americans. They even have deformed a word meaning moskal. It is their repertoire. An actual word meaning moskal - the soldier either the state person or the inhabitant of region who is closer to capital. Any province creates an image of more fashionable and consequently the pompous inhabitant of capital. Neo-nazis speculate on national ideas, for which bad times it always good soil.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I really was kidding. you are right to mention its orgins. ukrainians have served many bad masters--much more often soviet than very limited nazi imvolvement (russian nationalist nazi involvement was present as well). my grandmother was stolen from ukraine and made a german slave by nazis for for being a slav. ukrainian nationalists fought against and died at the hands of nazis. you must know this. russian nationalism and ukrainian nationalism are both harmful. but we dont need to ignore history
I do not want to see Ukraine become a pawn of American or Russian business interests. What is happening to the Ukrainian people is a tragedy. Following the economic policies which the west seeks to impose on Ukraine could very well continue to hurt the country. Russia's intentions are no kinder. I would like to see business' role in Ukrainian politics decrease. Neither Yanukovich nor Russia will save the Ukrainian people from those who seek to exploit them.
Ukraine and Russia this same. One people. Politicians should not separate one people born from one cradle. This crime. Kiev is an ancient capital of Russia. Moscow is the newest capital. These two strongholds will resist together to evil spirits. So was and so will be.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I think far much killing and exploitation happens in this world in the name of calling anyone "one people". It is not about ancient boundaries. Perhaps we disagree on too much. I don't believe in evil spirits. I think we ought to focus on how to make people's lives better, not on what sort of name to give them. The Russian government and Moscow have not been a kind ruler to the Ukrainian--or Russian--people. Human beings must come before national or ethnic ideas.
my dad is half ukrainian and half russian...do u know what he always tells me he tells me he considers russians and ukranians the same...one people...just ask my 100% ukrainian grandma and she will tell you the same.peace
yes.. i am latvian. i think that we and lithuanians are brothers and we balts and slavs are cousins, but thats only my opinion and that does not change the fact that each nation have free rights for their own independent country and views ;)
I believe you about your dad and grandmother. For hundreds of years, the Russian government (and its gulags) have told this to Ukrainians. No doubt some listened. However, this would be a very rare opinion to hear in Kyiv or most parts of the country outside of
Odessa or Crimea. I'm sure its not an uncommon idea in Russia. Polls show most Ukrainians (grandmas or not)
Russian and Ukrainian people do have a lot in common, but so do Americans and Canadians, and the Spanish and Portugese. This does not mean they are the same. A good look at Ukrainian history will show you the numerous ways that it has been to Russia's advantage to surpress Ukrainian identity. The very idea of Russification would not have been necessary to Tsars and Premiers, if Ukrainians really did see themselves as Russian.

hmmm. amet maybe should go to ukraine and talk to ukrainian speakers and russian speakers and tell them this. or ask a person who only speaks russian to translate ukrainian for him. or talk to the millions of catholics in western ukraine or the followers of the kyiv-patriach ukrainian orthodox church who worship in ukrainian rather than those from the moscow-patriach who worship in old slavic. or ask ukrainians what they think of stephan bandera or petlura see what russians think.

it may also be good for amet to wonder why ukrainian poets like shevchenko were translated into russian, or why lenin's works were translated into ukrainian. also why czarist and russian governments outlawed high culture from being published or colleges taught in ukrainian. he may also stop to realize that half of ukraine was not part of russia until after ww2.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
perhaps you went to ukrainian websites which were written in russian. the ukrainian alphabet has several characters that do not exist in russian, and vice-versa. so, a russian translator would not work even at that simple level. not only are many words different (tho like all slavic languages there are many similarities) we can point to simple words like "it" in ukrainian being "tse" while in russian the word is "eta". or him in ukrainian being "vin" and in russian being "on".be truthful please.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
and of course this election is about language as well. yanokovich is a russian speaker who promises to make it a state language again. timoshenko is a ukrainian speaker who opposes this. i agree that both politicians are corrupt but yanokovich's control of media in the east is appalling and his buisness ties with russian business which seek to strip ukraine as dry as they have stripped russia are very troubling.
The western Ukraine has been subject to the Polish influence. ponimayish (Russian) - rozumie ć (Polish) - rozimiyish (Ukrainian language). All three words from a word "reason". What follows, what Ukrainians - Poles? You the idiot? Ukraine - derivative of a word of Russian word Okraina (near to border, suburb of the Russian empire).
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
rozymnie is a common slavic word. the russian and ukrainian languages split in the 13th century. the idea of nationalism having anything to do with consciousness of people before the 18th or 19th century (in what is now ukraine or what it now russia) is of course silly. in many ways, pushkin created russia and shevchenko created ukraine. eastern and central ukraine were of course on the border of the russian empire. countless asians in the russian empire are not considered russian either.
hatred toward russians in much of central and western ukraine is hard to stomach. but ignoring historical facts and denying the existence of severe russian oppression of ukrainian culture since the russian empire broke his treaty with kleminstsky and destroyed the independant cossack state is not helpful. the west has been subject to polish and austrian influence, it is true. but the austrian empire allowed much greater ukrainian autonomy, contrasting the cultural oppression endured by the east.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
ukrainian langauge use is what determined the borders of ukraine established by the russian empire---the unity which the south and east now share with russia is related to the murder of ukrainian villagers during the holodomor and the soviet imposition of russians into the area. the east was not always russian speaking. ukrainian is not simply polish russian. even the russian kuban was ukrainian speaking. russians in ukraine deserve no less rights than ukrainians, but know history, please.
It is only a matter of time until Ukraine becomes a Russian vassal. One way or the other Russia will take over Ukraine. Peacefully, sort of , through election, or forcefully like in Georgia.
=)) украинчег мне далеко не 14, можешь не утруждать себя инглишем. Украина это Русская земля и должна принадлежать России. Украинство это преступление против Русского Народа !!!
It's a well known fact Keivan-Rus was established well before any Russian Empire to the North. So, it is wise to say that Russians came from Ukrainians, and that Keivan-Rus, the birthplace of Eastern Euro civilization, (now Kyiv), ye na Ykrainskomy Zemli tak?.
Ukraine has never been better off under the leadership of Russians. But hey, your opinion is your opinion, and I must respect it. You are my slavic brother, and the real enemies are the invaders.
Novgorod> Kiev. He was older and Rurik ruled in the north before. Kiev became a Russian city later. In ancient times the term Kievan Rus' did not exist, was Rus. For me in fact not important name Russian capital, most important that Russia would again become a united state. We now as and during the Tatar invasion divided.
And Timoshenko is basically the same as Yushchenko with the only exception that she has her own political party. So whos better? I'd say Yanukovich.....
I find it pretty ironic that they're telling Yanukovich, who's not even elected yet, to "stop raping Ukraine" when that nationalistic psycho, Yuschenko, has been doing just that for all the years he was in power! He did nothing positive for Ukraine. Nothing. 3% approval rating says it all.
nice choice between two career corupt politicians. I say none of the above! We need a world wide revolution to throw out all the criminal politicians that have taken over virtually every government in the world! REVOLUTION NOW! LIVE FREE OR DIE!
Yes but america shoud lead..... as america is the source of world corruption. So lets make revolution in america first, andif that succeeds. Then making revolutions in the rest of the world would be a piece of cake.
We need to get deeply involved in the election process as on top of other evidence, these politicians are voting as if we have no power to remove them.
I'm fairly sure many of us do not! ie. New Hampshire and every other election I watched closely.
Naturally, Dr. Ron Paul got hosed as President and America needs him to survive these banksters.
If America falls then the world will be finally free... might be some initial economic problems will certainly rise, but that will definitelly not cause the collapse of entire world.... you can count on that....
American's freedom is based on a double standard. It's based on the idealism of Christianity and the egocentric of White and Capitalism combined which means anybody who are living outside of this POLITICAL CORRECTION are guilty, non-free, waste of life, evil, the threat to America......even they are just the ordinary or the innocent like many other Americans living today.
That's why America never consider themselves with the the world's biggest WMD and military budget as a threat to the world
LOL? Strange freedom they got down there in Iraq and Afghanistan when US guys are doing night raids,, water boarding innocent civilians against THEIR FREEDOM. Yes thats the american way of "freedom", but thats not how the rest of the world perceive freedom you dumbass.
@Flankymanga Too many Americans are very ignorant. We have a short history, unlike Europeans who are mindfull of the consequences of their Dark Age.We have been in our own Dark Age for the last one hundred years.Hopefully some time in the next three hundred years we will come out of it...after we've had our fill of churches and kings.
@rokitjon I think there are attempts to come out of this Dark Age. However this process might be more painfull. It could result in world war 3. However only through catastrophes of such proportions humanity is able to learn its lesson. So in a sense this would be beneficial but only in case the WW3 would not have a huge global consequence which i fear it will have.
I agree with you..... Jobs you got there were moved to China and India and elsewhere. The problem is you were too expensive and we are more cheaper and easier to be enslaved by this system. This is why we must get into the core of whole system. Not just to remove its face. The entire capitalistic system was designed to enslave humanity through the power of money. This is why through revolution we need to bring it down. Money arent everything in this world. Wisdom, freedom, health and good will are.
Is America the source of corruption or just the symptom?
In my research, almost 5 years full time, the root of the problem was found to be outside America, with essentially those that own the Federal Reserve and Euro central banks.
The same folks, actually, that gave you the Bolshevik bloody revolution: Rothschild and friends.
Any solution that does not involve pulling THAT root and its cabal, will result in the same corruption and ultimate enslavement.
Bolshevik revolution was triggered because of something else. Marx and Engels predicted it decades ago. It had nothing to do with money. However the dawn of communism was triggered indeed with huge amounts of money from abroad. But again the source was not from EU rather from USA. You see the problem is not that we have corruption, the problem is how big this corruption is. And capitalism as a system exploited this weak spot of humanity to the fullest.
What will Russia do?
Will they allow Ukraine to follow their own destiny? Or will they invent "security concerns" that make "necessary" some military intervention, as they did in Georgia?
We (America) would love for Ukraine to become a full member in NATO, but that's their decision to make, and the last thing that should be influencing it is threats and intimidation from Russia.

It's like personal wealth. People aren't wealthy because they've got money. Many rich kids spend themselves into poverty.
Yet, many poor people become wealthy because of their habits of working hard and living cheaply so they can save and invest.

What is the point?
danielkugler 2 years ago
Do not try to unite the Ukrainian people and political prostitutes who served yesterday Hitler and today serve Americans. They even have deformed a word meaning moskal. It is their repertoire. An actual word meaning moskal - the soldier either the state person or the inhabitant of region who is closer to capital. Any province creates an image of more fashionable and consequently the pompous inhabitant of capital. Neo-nazis speculate on national ideas, for which bad times it always good soil.

Neither Yanukovich nor Russia will save the Ukrainian people from those who seek to exploit them.
danielkugler 2 years ago
Ukraine and Russia this same. One people. Politicians should not separate one people born from one cradle. This crime. Kiev is an ancient capital of Russia. Moscow is the newest capital. These two strongholds will resist together to evil spirits. So was and so will be.

Bonkajs 2 years ago
I believe you about your dad and grandmother. For hundreds of years, the Russian government (and its gulags) have told this to Ukrainians. No doubt some listened. However, this would be a very rare opinion to hear in Kyiv or most parts of the country outside of
Odessa or Crimea. I'm sure its not an uncommon idea in Russia. Polls show most Ukrainians (grandmas or not)
disagree.
danielkugler 2 years ago
Russian and Ukrainian people do have a lot in common, but so do Americans and Canadians, and the Spanish and Portugese. This does not mean they are the same. A good look at Ukrainian history will show you the numerous ways that it has been to Russia's advantage to surpress Ukrainian identity. The very idea of Russification would not have been necessary to Tsars and Premiers, if Ukrainians really did see themselves as Russian.

westerners that drop crocodiles tiars about ukranians should do the following thing:
-find any ukrainian wepside.
-place it on google translation box.
-ask google translation to translate in english not using the ukranian to english option but the russian to english option.
the distinctive character of ukranians vs russians exist only in the minds of westerners.
in reality speak the same language, have the same religion culture and are unified from economic-media-lifestyle prespective.

hmmm. amet maybe should go to ukraine and talk to ukrainian speakers and russian speakers and tell them this. or ask a person who only speaks russian to translate ukrainian for him. or talk to the millions of catholics in western ukraine or the followers of the kyiv-patriach ukrainian orthodox church who worship in ukrainian rather than those from the moscow-patriach who worship in old slavic. or ask ukrainians what they think of stephan bandera or petlura see what russians think.

it may also be good for amet to wonder why ukrainian poets like shevchenko were translated into russian, or why lenin's works were translated into ukrainian. also why czarist and russian governments outlawed high culture from being published or colleges taught in ukrainian. he may also stop to realize that half of ukraine was not part of russia until after ww2.

perhaps you went to ukrainian websites which were written in russian. the ukrainian alphabet has several characters that do not exist in russian, and vice-versa. so, a russian translator would not work even at that simple level. not only are many words different (tho like all slavic languages there are many similarities) we can point to simple words like "it" in ukrainian being "tse" while in russian the word is "eta". or him in ukrainian being "vin" and in russian being "on".be truthful please.

and of course this election is about language as well. yanokovich is a russian speaker who promises to make it a state language again. timoshenko is a ukrainian speaker who opposes this. i agree that both politicians are corrupt but yanokovich's control of media in the east is appalling and his buisness ties with russian business which seek to strip ukraine as dry as they have stripped russia are very troubling.

The western Ukraine has been subject to the Polish influence. ponimayish (Russian) - rozumie ć (Polish) - rozimiyish (Ukrainian language). All three words from a word "reason". What follows, what Ukrainians - Poles? You the idiot? Ukraine - derivative of a word of Russian word Okraina (near to border, suburb of the Russian empire).

rozymnie is a common slavic word. the russian and ukrainian languages split in the 13th century. the idea of nationalism having anything to do with consciousness of people before the 18th or 19th century (in what is now ukraine or what it now russia) is of course silly. in many ways, pushkin created russia and shevchenko created ukraine. eastern and central ukraine were of course on the border of the russian empire. countless asians in the russian empire are not considered russian either.
danielkugler 2 years ago
hatred toward russians in much of central and western ukraine is hard to stomach. but ignoring historical facts and denying the existence of severe russian oppression of ukrainian culture since the russian empire broke his treaty with kleminstsky and destroyed the independant cossack state is not helpful. the west has been subject to polish and austrian influence, it is true. but the austrian empire allowed much greater ukrainian autonomy, contrasting the cultural oppression endured by the east.

ukrainian langauge use is what determined the borders of ukraine established by the russian empire---the unity which the south and east now share with russia is related to the murder of ukrainian villagers during the holodomor and the soviet imposition of russians into the area. the east was not always russian speaking. ukrainian is not simply polish russian. even the russian kuban was ukrainian speaking. russians in ukraine deserve no less rights than ukrainians, but know history, please.

Masterless2012 2 years ago 6
Novgorod> Kiev. He was older and Rurik ruled in the north before. Kiev became a Russian city later. In ancient times the term Kievan Rus' did not exist, was Rus. For me in fact not important name Russian capital, most important that Russia would again become a united state. We now as and during the Tatar invasion divided.

drfang68 2 years ago
American's freedom is based on a double standard. It's based on the idealism of Christianity and the egocentric of White and Capitalism combined which means anybody who are living outside of this POLITICAL CORRECTION are guilty, non-free, waste of life, evil, the threat to America......even they are just the ordinary or the innocent like many other Americans living today.
That's why America never consider themselves with the the world's biggest WMD and military budget as a threat to the world
fashionxue 2 years ago 6
LOL? Strange freedom they got down there in Iraq and Afghanistan when US guys are doing night raids,, water boarding innocent civilians against THEIR FREEDOM. Yes thats the american way of "freedom", but thats not how the rest of the world perceive freedom you dumbass.
Flankymanga 1 year ago 3
@Flankymanga Too many Americans are very ignorant. We have a short history, unlike Europeans who are mindfull of the consequences of their Dark Age.We have been in our own Dark Age for the last one hundred years.Hopefully some time in the next three hundred years we will come out of it...after we've had our fill of churches and kings.
rokitjon 1 year ago
@rokitjon I think there are attempts to come out of this Dark Age. However this process might be more painfull. It could result in world war 3. However only through catastrophes of such proportions humanity is able to learn its lesson. So in a sense this would be beneficial but only in case the WW3 would not have a huge global consequence which i fear it will have.
Flankymanga 1 year ago
If you remove the puppets and leave the puppeteers how will that solve a business model that is over a thousand years old?
They've already moved the American crown jewels, JOBS, to the East. How long could it be before the sun sets on the West?
See Rik Clay's information on the supporting symbology you've been looking at for a decade.
IMHO, this appears to be the plan they have.
UnoRaza 2 years ago
I agree with you..... Jobs you got there were moved to China and India and elsewhere. The problem is you were too expensive and we are more cheaper and easier to be enslaved by this system. This is why we must get into the core of whole system. Not just to remove its face. The entire capitalistic system was designed to enslave humanity through the power of money. This is why through revolution we need to bring it down. Money arent everything in this world. Wisdom, freedom, health and good will are.
Flankymanga 1 year ago
Is America the source of corruption or just the symptom?
In my research, almost 5 years full time, the root of the problem was found to be outside America, with essentially those that own the Federal Reserve and Euro central banks.
The same folks, actually, that gave you the Bolshevik bloody revolution: Rothschild and friends.
Any solution that does not involve pulling THAT root and its cabal, will result in the same corruption and ultimate enslavement.
(Eastern this time)
UnoRaza 1 year ago
Bolshevik revolution was triggered because of something else. Marx and Engels predicted it decades ago. It had nothing to do with money. However the dawn of communism was triggered indeed with huge amounts of money from abroad. But again the source was not from EU rather from USA. You see the problem is not that we have corruption, the problem is how big this corruption is. And capitalism as a system exploited this weak spot of humanity to the fullest.
Flankymanga 1 year ago
Rothschild, the master of milking one off of the other, and Marx were from the same family.
The way to the solution is to "Follow the Yellow Brick Road." / Money.
If possible, some references would be great.
IMHO, the banksters at the TOP of the pyramid, were pissed at the Czar for torching their first try at world domination at the League of Nations.
Are you speaking of the "Phases of Capitalism"?
or parallels to France, another Masonic revolution? (Not what it appeared to be.)
