1. This is a "hit piece" without the hit. It struggles to leave a vaguely negative feeling,but can't really come up with anything factual to get it there.

And she didn't "slam" AI contestants. Palin was using AI to make a point about our "feel good" culture, where too many young people's heads are filled with feel-good "self esteem" nonsense instead of useful skills to function in reality, and it was right on.

Sort of like how Sarah feeds her children the everyone is jealous of you. You are a great dancer when Bristol sucks.

Sort of how Palin believes she is intelligent when she gives out folksy soundbites instead of actual meaningful content.

Sort of how Palin thinks she is Presidential material and no one around her wants to tell her the truth.

Her whole approach to herself and her family is a feel good culture.

@YTRedActed To be fair, BP was never pumped up with crap about what a great dancer she was bc she''d never danced before DWTS. SP was enthusiastic bc her daughter was trying hard and did well. Not a crime. Bristol's been called "the most improved" dancer. I don't think anyone claimed she was the technical best. I doubt it's lost on S{ how many are saying she shouldn't run. This isn't secret information. I"m with you on the folksy soundbites instead of real content. That annoys me too

To be fair how do you know every contestant on Idol has been pumped up ?

The Palin kids have been told that everyone is jealous of them that is why Bristol believes she has detractors not because of performance.

The Show is a dancing competition not a most improved dancer competition. So you think the most atrocious dancer at the start ,improves to be the worst dancer

Back here in this one, nobody said "every contestant" on AI was pumped up.

Bristol didnt say she has detractors bc others are jealous. She said she has detractors bc some people dont' like her mother. You're living proof.

Palin nor her kids have said they think other are "jealous" of them, so unless you can peer into their minds with your superpowers, I'm fuzzy on how you'd know this tidbit.

Did you happen to look over the latest controversy with Bristol and Willow? If you bothered it had some insight into the mind of the Palin kids from their comments where several times they used the phrase that everyone is just jealous.

Bristol thinks she has worked her ass off to get where she is today?

There are a lot of people who think they can sing even though they are told they can't.

Many who can't sing don't try out.

Whereas Bristol who cant dance went for the money!

@MrFloppyPuppy Bristol explicitly stated that others are jealous, that she is (to paraphrase) "the real deal" and not fake like the other dancers. That is not an isolated incident either, take a look at the families reaction to finding out a protester was a teacher.

There is a superiority complex there.

And if she's going to be jumped on for saying some amazing percentage of AI contestants are awful and manage to go their whole lives all the way to Simon Cowell's table without being told the truth by anyone "Hey, you're awful at this," Better jump on Simon Cowell himself too, because he's said exactly the same thing.
