  • @ZeroLiche do a thc (team hyper combo) and the low samurai will be canceled. if u have more than 1 bar when u activate tch then maximum wesker and ur other character's super will activate also

  • I have a question. Every time I try, I can't seem to land Storms Elemental Rage from a distance. As a Wesker/Storm/Dorm user, I could kind of use the ability. What do I do?

  • @elmanymt No. It's what happens AFTER the DHC. For example, the last combo probably would've just ended at Dante doing the Devil Trigger, but due to the glitch, he's able to continue the combo that was initiated by Wesker.

  • @Xienline To cancel Weskers OTG pistol into Maximum Wesker is only possible if you have one level of hyper gauge or if Wesker is the last man standing in your team. How you do it is after the gunshot, you press both assist buttons at the same time which is supposed to lead to a team hyper combo, but since you either have only one hyper gauge AND/OR Wesker as the last man standing, only his super comes out.

  • Everyone needs to quit bitching that this game is broken or that u can die within 2 power meters. Here's an idea: practice and get better, if your as good as trag then u wont fall to these combos. Trag is jus too awesome, I would love to see u destroy marn, and jwong. And it would be awesome if u battled Maximilian dood. ^_^

  • For some reason i dont know how to roll back when shooting the ground in dantes combo (The last one in this vid) He just stands up and shoots the ground and when i continue the combo i always end up behind them when jumping.. Some weird stuff.

  • There is definitely no need to patch this.

    The scrubs who are complaining are the ones who probably couldn't pull tricks like these off because of poor execution and bad team synergy.

    The zero glitch, the spencer glitch, and most of the glitches Desk found are stuff I would patch, but this is a new offensive trick/tool for pros to utilize in high level play.

  • @k0rr1 On top of that is the fact that even without this trick you can easily find combinations of characters that can break 1 million damage or more for two or three meter... and that's not even including x factor.

  • Well I don't care if this exists but as long as multiple characters can use it.

    I only hope there will still be a wide range of cast usable in mvc3 rather than the same 6-7 characters like in mvc2

  • Trag did you edit the video so that at 0:29 wesker's hyper had more hits? Cause the hyper shown in this video is very long for a maximum wesker and theres a sound cut at 0:29 also. Note that im not trying to be offensive its just a question.

  • @hurr1can LOL, nope. Maximum Wesker hits maximum 15 (or maybe 16) times. Before the hyper, the combo is at 48 hits. The 62nd hit kills the opponent (when "DOWN" is displayed) and the combo fades out. That is only 14 hits of Maximum Wesker. The reason I teleport behind instead of just dash df+H xx A1+A2 is because it causes WAY more hits to connect =D. If you do it from the front, only 8-12 will connect (much more random).

  • Would this work if the nonphysical hit super was DHC into the third character? For example using the last combo in this video. If after Dante's super for it was DHC'd into SuperSkrull. This would be pretty useful for some teams.

  • @Zephilindrum ... because MvC2 lasted so long due to patches and fixes, right? Wait... it never got patched. How about we just let the game breathe and see what happens before we claim every little thing should be fixed. It very well may end up being too good... but we don't know that for sure. These combos aren't "easy". Besides, you can activate L1 X-Factor and kill an entire team in 7-8 seconds with FAR less hits.

    And what I'm saying is that they should at least tweak it. When you look at it as a whole, it's a sure-kill combo with just two bars. Before you know it people are gonna start maining characters that have grab supers just to pull off an easy win.

  • @Zephilindrum I don't have any grab characters as mains :( Two of the three have command grabs though.

    I use I use Felicia, C.Viper, and X-23. Probably the worst combination of characters, but I tend to use the people I like most, so eh...

    Let's backtrack THREE MONTHS to when I posted this: First off, Grab SUPERS are not grab SPECIALS. In this case, you're talking about specials. We're talking about Hypers. Big difference. X-23 doesn't have a grab super.

    Now let's fastforward THREE MONTHS. Who the fuck are you calling a dingus? You're commenting on a post that's 3 months old, acting like you brought something new to the table. I maybe used that team for what.. a week? Go find a life, kid.

  • @dakoe33 Yeah no shit. It's just stupid that people this is some new level of quick deaths in a fighting game. One touch and two meters to get rid of a character didn't keep MvC2 from getting played, it just meant you had to actually learn how to defend. Same shit here, people are just figuring it out faster. It really shouldn't come as some big surprise.

  • @trag13 This is basically what happens when lots of games out there get weekly patches based on player whining. People would rather whine to change the game rather than try to learn to play the game how it is.

  • @trag13 MvC2 lasted so long without patched because we didn't live in an age where it was feasible to update something without going to extreme lengths. As you well know, meter is expendable and can be regained, XF is one shot so your comparison of the two in this situation is foolish. Whether this is fixed or not is of little concern to me, what does concern me however is the sheer ignorance in calling an exploit fair. I'll take your rebuttal in the form of intelligent comment sir.

  • @trag13 At least in marvel 2 what amounted to two character deaths was an extremely well planned and executed attack. Well executed in the sense that your windows of attack were a fraction of the time allotted to the player in this game and it could only be done by a few characters to boot. Not the whole cast. Call it balanced, but I'll continue to call it pandering. Isn't it funny that not every combo in mvc2 looked like every other combo in mvc2? makes me laugh everytime I play mvc3

  • @trag13 MvC2 lasted so long in usa only, played by the same people using the same few viable characters. You're not making a good point, because x-factor also needs fixing (even more than this stupid glitch). In its current state, MvC3 is hot garbage.

  • Trag, explain something for me. I thought it was only cinematic supers that triggered the histun and damage scaling reduction, yet you do ammy's veil of mist into hyper sodium force. Did that reset or was it simply just a high damage combo off of throw?

  • @iranoutofstuff Ahh, no! Well, cinematic hypers put them in a "captured/grabbed" state. But so do some throws (untechable throws) like Ammy's. That's why it worked there! =D I updated the description. Check it out!

    Cool, so its a side effect to those states.

    Also something i noticed, a DHC during some hits influences the type of histun produced, like after spencer's QCFXX super, DHCing into dante's devil trigger will cause a spin right above him as opposed to the opponent flying across the screen. Im sure you can find some use for this, or discover some more stuff. I would look into it, but im not very productive, haha. Check it out! You could probably find something useful. Keep it up!

  • Err sorry to post so many times, but im kind of lost on this, So what happens is that when this certain type of histun is inflicted, if a DHC happens during it it will cause a spin state? And if they are already in a spin state, it will still work? Thats alot more simple that what i initially thought, lol

    But this makes me think, are there any assists that cause spin state? Couldnt you start a super and DHC into a non phys super off an assist hit for a reset?

  • This works for all characters? Or this only goes for certain throws?

  • @SlyCopper23 : It's not really about the throws, although not all characters can combo from a throw without an assist. This combo is about switching in with another super that does no damage, which resets the damage scaling, allowing you to do even more damage in a combo.

    I think.
