yeah, i ended up getting an nvidia gtx 260 black edition. from xfx. it looks nice, have not used it yet. when the new rig is going, will let everyone know about it. have decided to go for the intel Q9550 for the simple fact that it is way better. and the ram im getting is like, 4gb ddr2 corsair dominator. are there any suggestions on a good heat sink? thanks guys

what i want to know is, if anyone can tell me, will my new system run crysis very high specs with good frames (60-70) cause its in the process of being built atm. i will have Antec 900 case | titan 1000w psu | nvidia xfx 780i sli motherboard | 1 nvidia xfx black edition 9800gtx+ maybe overclocked to 1gb | intel core 2 quad 8200 | 4gb ddr2 ram | 1680*1050 res | and yeah. that going to be enough?

But your aiming WAAAY to high

24 fps or higher is lovely to look at

But a 9800GTX+ will run it on very high at 35-40 fps

you can play this game on low or mid..not high..good luck, and you can always upgrade to a 1GB card..they can run crysis no prob..

dude get 1gig of ram immediately! and you are getting bottleneck because your cpu is slow.overclock it to 2.8ghz and you will see a HUGE increase of performance

i play avg fps 20+- smooth but.. sometime lag too (i think because cpu and ram)..

than crysis is running on max settings with 35/60 fps all the way
