man, i tell you she opens your eyes to whats going on out there in the world. i mean, things were that bad in 1999 think of how back it is more than 10 years later. i commend her for being able to have the heart and the spirit to sing about the things she sings about. and not all of her songs about deep and what not. shes got other songs out there that are fun and also just plain good song. shes an icon and i look up to her in every way.
