@saiyoucho Depends on the song. In general, any soundfont remix can be made with midi files. I use a midi editor to change the instruments and sometimes, i even make them out of nothing to best put it.

@NamekuBushi Of course any soundfont remix can be made with midi files, though I wouldn't really call it an normal remix if using a finished midi file and just swapping out the instruments. It can be funny to play around with soundfonts though.

@NamekuBushi If that was really the case, then 8-bit version of songs which are just saw wave and square wave instruments aren't remixes as well in that same logic. My style of arranging instruments is using the same type of instrument arrangement as game the soundfont originates. That way it sounds a little more like it came from that game rather than where it really comes from.
