We must understand fully of ALLAH's will like tsunami and other natural disasters have no AGENDA and it works accordingly to CLEANSE......global brotherhood (muslims and non-muslims integrity).
This is the logic they used with vietnam. "Vietnam is tall and skinny, and if it falls to communism it'll fall on all the other countries!", but beck was right here. There are protests all over.
It's absolutely true... I live in Paris and everything is on fire. The Eiffel Tower used to be seen from all over, but now it's just a small pile of rubble. Glenn Beck is a genius...
First of all, its absolute fact that the "Arab Spring" is US funded and had been planned for as early as 2008. Don't believe a word Beck says - he is a paid propagandist and works for the exact people that have started the unrest. It's not just Soros, its the Brookings Institution, Carnegie, CFR, and all the corporations involvend, including Fox's News Corporation. The only truthful thing Beck said this entire clip is "do your own homework."
@yugmrala You're wrong and delusional, Britain is not on fire. Beck insists that Britain will fall to the Muslims. 90% of Britain is white and intwined with that is a large christian polulation. So in Becks eyes 6% of a Muslim population will overhthrow 90% even though that 6% has no political backing or power at all. People like you have no idea of the situation around the world and just believe that because Glenn tells you its on fire it automatically means that it will fall to the Muslims.
If this was the best I could do, I would chalk out the world and daydream that the whole world is in cahoots against my country. Of course, that would give me permission to do any shit and go away with it.
I'm sorry, sir. But I'm an Egyptian. Even the most radical elements thinking of what he's saying, would laugh their asses off. To imagine that people of the Middle East want to establish a "Caliphate" and wage war against "infidels" is tritely naive. Of course, there are strong bonds between the Arabs and Muslims, but they are more about religious and cultural solidarity, not of any political nature, like the NATO or something.
Glenn Beck totally fails at making distinctions between two things which are very easy to tell apart. Protests in Europe are not about removing systems of governments which suppress the population, it's about changing the policy of the government by demonstrations which is their legal right. This has nothing to do with oppressed citizens in the middle east fighting to get the democratic rights the europeans enjoy. His misconceptions are mind-boggling.
@afterism20 The protests in Europe are about chaos and riots, regardless of the stated purpose. Setting cars and police on fire is not a protest, it is a rioting mob disrupting peoples lives and preventing work.
The same is true in Wisconsin. Smoking dope and trashing the Capitol building have nothing to do with the stated issues and steel the resolve of the law abiding taxpayers left to do the responsible thing and clean up their mess.
@yugmrala The riots in Europe are designed to get the citizens to call for relief from the chaos, and that's when the solutions show up. Top Down: solve the problem caused by the Bottom Up rioters, Inside Out is the people begging for solutions and peace.
@yugmrala The protesters in Europe were protesting against government policies, the rioters in Europe were a minority who were either there to riot or protesters who got carried away but they were a tiny minority. Is it a threat to the democratic institutions of europe? Of course not. The revolting populations in the middle-east are fighting for their right to self-determination through democracy and to deny them that is disgraceful. The distinction between the two is blindingly obvious.
@afterism20 You are exactly right about the protesters and the rioters. Beck has been warning us about union thugs infiltrating legitimate gatherings here to cause trouble and make peaceful people look bad. That's what the unions are doing in Europe, and the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East. So a relative few are steering a larger crowd, and in the ensuing chaos, a "strong man" emerges to take control and bring an end to the chaos. Soon, the radicals will have control in Egypt, Tunisia, ...
@yugmrala Beck is terrified of anything involving the political left, some union members may be thugs just like anyone from the spectrum of society. It doesn't have anything to do with the movement for worker's rights. Trust the egyptian, libyan, tunisian people etc. in that they want the same rights we have and we must not hinder them in obtaining them. Yes there are undesirable elements in the movement but the majority are trying to remove autocratic rule, they must succeed.
@afterism20 I DO trust the people, I don't trust the organizers. The union leadership recruits the people it needs for thugs. The membership are victims of groups that are out to defeat Capitalism. The unions were started by the Communists, I've heard plenty of stories from the early twenties from my grandfather, he was blacklisted for years for opposing them.
Just be aware, union members and the freedom protesters are being used.
This is exactly the reason why Beck is so popular. He is not just giving us news he is a thinker and he's showing us stuff no one else is or dares to discuss.
@tecnolover2642 Glenn Beck has lost 39 percent of his audience in the past year as even die hard fear lovers cannot follow his bizarre, paranoid chalk board antics. Fox 'Power Panel' regular William Kristol recently denounced his yammerings as reckless and dangerous for the conservative cause. Former Bush speech writer David Frum has done the same. Beck is having a slow motion psychiatric breakdown on national television and Fox will have to cut him loose sometime soon.
@molloyxx1 #1, I don't believe Beck has lost 39 percent of his audience in the past year, His is the highest rated cable show at 5pm by more than double.
His so-called paranoid antics are backed up by hard evidence available to any who wish to check it out.
Kristol and Frum don't watch Beck's show, if they did watch in its entirety they would not make such inaccurate statements.
You come here to make wild claims and waste my time instead of making intelligent debate.
@yugmrala You claim to be interested in 'making' [ odd usage that old boy 'participating in' would have been correct] an intelligent debate yet simply dismiss facts presented to you. google Glenn Becks Ratings Decline and you will find a wealth of support for my position. And if you think Kristol, who is also a Murdoch employee, doesnt know what Beck is peddling you are beyond naive. Moreover, cable news is a small market, comprising in total appx 5 million viewers. Out of over 3 hundred million
Respond to this video...Fox News' Bill O’Reilly– down 3% MSNCB's Rachel Maddow – down 8% Fox News' Greta Van Sustren – down 13% Fox News' Sean Hannity – down 17% MSNBC's Chris Matthews – down 23% MSNBC's Headline News – down 26% MSNBC's Keith Olbermann – down 28% CNN's Wolf Blitzer – down 37% CNN's Campbell Brown – down 39% CNN's Anderson Cooper – down 41% CNN's Larry King – down 46%
I have no doubt that there is a group, or collection of groups, that want to do exactly this. Obviously most of the radical Islamic groups would want nothing better. But I'm not sure it would be as open in Europe as Beck seems to think it will be.
@PierzStyx You can check it out for yourself. Open Society, Code Pink,
Beck lays it out for you, he has links on his website for all the groups. One night he rolled out a list of names that was 30 ft long, and that wasn't all of them. SEIU has offices in many countries, as Andy Stearn has said on TV
I live in England, we aren't on fire, there were protests about student tuition fees, that's all. Just angry students, who have largely stopped protesting now.
Allready it seems that Glenn was right. Muslim Brotherhood on Al-Jazeera declared that sharia is going to be implemented. 2 million muslim on the Tahir square shooted that they would marsch to Israel and kill all jews. Kopts are protesting around Egypt to try and provent the islamic state. The courts are starting to allow islmists parties previously banned. Glenn is informed....most commenters here seems brainwashed.....
Yugmrala: I am very aware that Ireland is in an economic crisis, I do after all live there. Glenn Beck however, is lying when he states that there are fires and violence. I haven't saw one mass demonstration. Just because people are pissed off at the way their government has handled the economy does not mean were going to be engulphed in a Caliphate. This is ridiculous. There haven't been any protests in Italy, France or Portugal of late. BECK IS A LIAR.
yugmrala: True, but that is mostly bluster. I'm sure Hezbollah would like to push Americans out of Iraq but they would much rather fight for territory in Lebanon and Israel; which would take them many years to do. This mobilization of extremist militants that Beck is portraying here is a far reaching hypothetical. I imagine a few militants in Iraq have ties to Hezbollah, but it can't be many.
@DaMarlboroMan3 The point is, he is right. The thirty seconds of research turned up several news stories about Hezbollah in Iraq. Why is it so hard to believe the man is sincere? Glenn Beck does a lot of things on this program in total defiance of ratings, yet they stay high. Maybe it is because most of the regular viewers are tuning in for the information we can't get anywhere else.
Very biased and made worse through his attempts of simplification. Why would Hezbollah attack us in Iraq? They are too busy with Lebanon and Israel. Beck thinks all terrorist organizations are powerful, well-organized and obsessed with destroying the US and no one else. We accept too many radicals on our networks; I guess it is all for more views.
@DaMarlboroMan3 "Hezbollah Warns of Attacks against US Troops in Iraq
The leader of Lebanese resistance guerrilla group Hezbollah (Party of God) Thursday warned that US troops will face severe resistance, including suicide attacks, if they invade Iraq."
"Speaking to an anti-war gathering in south Beirut, Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said US troops "will face bullets, guns, blood and suicide attacks within Iraqi territories."
@SozialeRevolution So you just ignore the socialist and communist organizations openly acting to take us down? Van Jones pushing for a communist revolution, the ties of the Unions to communism all the way back to the beginning of the last century? All that means nothing to you? These people tell you what they are doing and Beck shows you them saying it and you ignore all that and call Beck a wacko. Good, very intelligent.
@yugmrala First of all: what material interests do capitalists have to bring about a socialist revolution? Nothing. This is unrealistic bullshit. Second of all: I'm a communist. I actually know what communism, what marxism, what socialism is - and none of it is happening right now in the so-called "western civilization"; unfortunately as I must add. Communism isn't about stalinist Russia (where the soviets got crushed by bureaucracy) or about power: it's about equality and freedom.
@SozialeRevolution Equality of opportunity. Freedom to excel. Communism is an evil concept that punishes achievement and rewards mediocrity. Who decides the value of your work in a communist society? After taking the time and sacrifice to learn a trade I am free to excel in that trade and be rewarded for my excellent work. You are free to fail. I prefer to reward the rugged individual who succeeds. If I want to live in a communist society I will go find one. Please leave my Republic alone.
@yugmrala There is no such thing as "equality of opportunity". Do you really believe, the bourgeoisie (the ruling class, the ones that "succeeded") works harder than the average worker? Or even works at all? It's the mechanisms of capitalism that keep the working class down - or do you think it's "fair" that half of the food produced is thrown away while there is more than a billion people starving? Read The Capital and the Communist Manifesto - it makes you understand and reject capitalism.
@SozialeRevolution From Sweetness and Light: "Hezbollah has denied any activities in Iraq, saying it operates only in Lebanon.
Bergner said a senior Lebanese Hezbollah operative, Ali Mussa Dakdouk, was captured March 20 in southern Iraq. Dakdouk, a 24-year veteran of Hezbollah, was sent to Lebanon “as a surrogate for the Iranian Quds Force” to finance and arm militant cells to carry out attacks on U.S. and Iraqi troops, he said."
The three Iraqis who spoke to the AP said the Iranians prefer to use Hezbollah instructors because as Arabs, they can communicate better with the Iraqi Shiites and maintain a lower profile than Farsi-speakers from Iran.
Do you need any more help with your research? Or do you want to keep identifying morons? I found dozens of stories from as many sources.
Glenn Beck is the most researched source you will ever find. Truth has no agenda.
@SozialeRevolution From the BBC News "The US military in Iraq has accused Iran of orchestrating an attack that killed five US soldiers and of using Lebanese militants to train insurgents.
The information came from a top Hezbollah fighter recently captured in southern Iraq, an army spokesman said."
"Gen Bergner said Hezbollah's Ali Moussa Dakdouk - who he said was captured in southern Iraq in March - was the liaison between Iran's shadowy Quds Force and a breakaway Shia group."
I heard this guy say...given a choice between the Shah and the fanatics, America choses the Shah...ok, thats well and good. But then what if the "people" of Iran chose the fanatics...so...its not so much who U chose, something is wrong with the way yer brains are working...U really look at our friggen existence; all of us, from a very bleak paranoid point of view...fail
Love from Cairo Egypt
PS...Yeh the guy who burned himself alive in tunisia cuz they took his fruit stand was co ordinated...
The way your brain analyzes events in the middle east is clueless...therefore your planned reactions are clueless. They are based on false analyses. Before the invasion of Iraq, I listened to a "specialist" analyze what they expected events will be like in Iraq. I thought it's one of two things, either a planned spin to make it seem like yer clueless or they actually believe what i heard said which means they will screw it up since it cant be so far out from the truth. Way over your head.
What a bloody idiot. I am from Ireland and there is no "fire", also the protests in England were about the increase in tuition fees for students. What a misinformed, ignorant and hateful man. I feel sorry that so many Americans are duped by this fear mongering bastard.
@TheLargeMacKing From CBS News: (AP) ff LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Political and economic danger signs flashing in Portugal and Ireland threaten to punch a hole in the European Union's attempts to contain a financial crisis that has gripped the continent for more than a year.//In Ireland, too, the election campaign has brought an opportunity to voice discontent about how the taxpayers are propping up banks whose failure pitched the country into crisis
@yugmrala the chinese bought Portugese bonds saving the Euro, and Ireland accepted the EU bailout while it wrong to say everything is 'fine' the situation has stabalized to describe the European Situation in the manner in which Beck does is moronic
@1991Historybuff To say that everything is fine because the debt is shifted is moronic. There is still a debt, the problem postponed. We printed $ to buy time, and at what expense? We are now being blamed for the rising food costs that contributed to the protests in the middle east. Think it all the way through. The Chinese are happy to offer a "second mortgage".
@yugmrala governments operate on bonds, the problem that Portugal faced was that they were not going to be able to raise enough cash to cover thier deficit, china solved that problem in the short term stabalizing the Euro, I put fine in inverted commas for a reason
@1991Historybuff I guess we are in some agreement, the fix is only temporary, and until Portugal has a balanced budget they still have a problem. Kinda like the US.
Mubarak is one of the if not most rich people in Egypt, and i am sure he dont pay that much in taxes on that money. The Egyptian people may be poor and hungry but if they just had waited a little more i am sure the famous republican "trickle down" effect would have shown some real effect in Egypt.
29 years is a little short in time, but i am sure that after the last taxbreak for the rich in the US , the Americans will have patience and wait for the wealth for several more years.
Wait! They can hold people without charges!?! That doesn't sound like anything that someone glenn beck would ever support would do. Except maybe, GEORGE BUSH! Glenn beck is insane. I can't belive he still has a t.v show
Usually i just make fun of Glenn for his weird ideas, but i got to give him credit for at least having the insight that US foreign politics are just terribly wrong when it comes to "friendly" dictators, and not at all helpfull if they want to help to spread democracy around the world.
How many of you actually think its possible to make the world spin in the other direction? Thats what all of you are talking about trying to do. NEITHER side is right. It is our flaw as humans that we can not populate this small floating rock together peacefully. If you are not part of the solution then your part of the problem. If your looking for a place to put the blame...check your mirror
What the heck are you talking about? You don't care to know what kind of trouble is brewing? You should just go watch Glee or The Biggest Loser if you don't want to know.
I do care. But what chance does an aunt have at changing the orbit of Mars? None. The best any of us can do is affect the man next to us. To think that you can change anything by posting it on youtube is really immature. I know more than you might think, thats why I dont stress becasue the reality is that things have been this bad for a long time and nothing I say or do now is gonna stop the unavoidable. Try stopping the sun from rising...see how well it works.
To understand how people are being manipulated and who is involved in the deception is what this is all about. Of course you and I can't change the events under way overseas, but you can see how people in this country are trying to bring that chaos here. That is the purpose of Beck's message, and that is why I post these educational videos here.
Glenn Beck is a moron. His connect the dots analysis is flawed. Egypt will never choose an islamic theocracy like Iran because every muslim knows it doesn't work and is oppressive. Iranians in the 70's only chose theocracy because they hated the Shah and was ignorant of European history under a Catholic theocracy and the internet did not exist. You have to be living under a rock to not realize that any totalitarian system doesn't work.
Irish TV and newspapers are even worse than I thought. According to Glenn there are riots in the streets of Ireland and the UK that I never heard about
im tunisian proud of what we did ?? guy ho is glen beck ??? and what the fuck is he talking about what kalifiet ?? tunisia is secular and always will be . his soo funny
He is not a reporter though, he is just a commentator. He says what the majority of his audience wants to hear. He is just another conspiracy theorist. People should make their own conclusions and not swallow some superficial speculation.
is this what americans really watch for world politics??? hope not. and wooooow at the russians taking the old soviet back PLUS netherlands. looooool funny guy though
is this reallywhatl americans watch for world politics? i hope not. and lol at the russians taking all the old soviet countries and NETHERLANDS. why netherlands? would love to see what kind of research he put into that statement.
@yugmrala so he has evidence for netherlands being in danger of russian occupation huh? i wont even bother looking for that up. if you dont find fthat funny and just take it as a joke then you are kiddin yourself and pretending to be ignorant when i know you are not.
@ahmedibenad Beck has a televison audience of about 2.5 million, somewhat less than the audience for Hannity and Orielly [ which incenses him]. His ratings have been dropping recently as its increasingly clear, even to an audience of white, aging and ill-educated right wing chuckle-heads, that he is steadily losing his ever tenuous grip on reality. Moreover, his chalk-board presntations are so fractured and anti-linear they often can't follow what the hell he is saying.
@molloyxx1 makes sense, him referring to the ''saddam and mubarak as bad guys we went to bed with'' is sooo childish, what kinda political assessment is that?
Such a hose job. Beck never goes into the complicity of the far-right in the US govt. subverting democratic, albeit socialist, uprisings in foreign countries in the name of stopping the spread of Communism. These dictators were put into power and/or supported by the US to defeat the "scourge" Beck himself rails against every night.
He omits this to preserve his narrative of "the progressives" as history's evil bogeymen. This is why Beck is a fraud and simply a tool of the FOX news agenda.
The following is but one reason why Beck is an insipid, cynical tool of the GOP: At about 9:11 (spooky) he shows ol' evil Carter and the Shah of Iran in a photo op together, convenient to Beck's narrative since the Iranian revolution took place during the Carter admin. What Beck fails to tell you is the Shah was put into power by a CIA lead coup which overthrew an Iranian democracy, ordered by the Eisenhower administration, a conservative administration who justified this as "fighting communism"
This is a "report" I would expect to see on the Christian Broadcaster Network, not an "official" news outlet, no. I never thought even FOX could sink this low, but I guess I was wrong.
Becks levelof paranoia has, per his recent statements [ China willl absorb Austrailia, the NETHERLANDS are in danger], has gone beyond standard issue right wing paranoia and entered the realm of clinical insanity. He believes he can predict the End Times by simply strolling over to his magical chalk board with another fresh peice of chalk. He is unravelling before our eyes, and it is a pleasure to watch.
Does Glenn Beck not understand that the LABOR party in Israel is the second most powerful party in the country. That Israel is a progressive, liberal democratic society....that the kibbutz communities within Israel are SOCIALIST in every conceivable sense of the word. Israeli's have free health care....supplied by the state!
this man knows whats going on..ive been telling people on here that this could lead to a world war..they're like no no no it won't they want peace and all that..
THANK YOU BECK!!!!! Fianlly, somebody in the news media figured out whats really going on in Egypt, whats behind the whole protesting thing and the whole muslim brotherhood. He the only guy who was bold enough to say it on T.V. while everybody eles is ethier blind or to scared to say something. Beck is right, If muslim brotherhood did take over Eygpt, they would try to invade the U.S.A. and have war with Isreal. Rod Parsley warn us about this kind of stuff, but noooooooo people laugh at him.
@JazzyXEdward nobody dictates who america elects for in your presidential elections, why should you dictate for the middle east????? no matter who they elect you should listen to the people as your a nation of democracy, isint that true? if you're going to exclude certain parties whom you dont like then how is that different to mubaraks rule? or any dictators rule?
@ahmedibenad@ahmedibenad You nailed the deep contradiction inherent in the Conservative psyche when it comes to the self-determination of foreign nations. From their point of view a nation can only be "democratic" if it adheres to a western pro-capitalism model. True democratic choice is only viable if it keeps the US the main player. This is why we overwhelmingly support dictatorial regimes: to keep our economic interests intact. Isn't Beck really saying that Mubarak is a preferable choice?
@ahmedibenad Just going by what I hear on the news. Who ever over the country should listen to the people. I do agree, but why get rid of the person who over the country because of whatever they're protesting? Why not protest and tell the Egyptian president to lower food prices and stuff? And what freedom are they talking about? I don't see them in chains and in slavery like their neighbors in Sudan.
@JazzyXEdward that opening line summed you up. you are not worth debating with at all. just by what you hear on news???? what! am guessing thats fox news?
@ahmedibenad As much as the American people hated George Bush and say he wasn't a good president , you don't see us protesting and telling him to resign as President. We protest and say lower food prices, let prayer in school, lower health insurance, lower gas back to 0.95 cents a gallion, or whatever it is not protestesing our president to resign and leave the country. I guess people people protest different in other countries.
@JazzyXEdward Wel, Mubarak has been using his police force to murder, jail and torture dissidents for years, 40 pervent of the popluation make appx 2.oo per day. Mubaraks fortune [ the US sends 1.5 billion a yeat for 'military assistance' ] is estimated at between 40 and 70 BILION. And I doubt he has accrued this fortune by workig 3 jobs. Moreover, he completely controls the Egyptian media and emptied his prisons of [non-poltical] thugs in order to attack peaceful protesters.
@JazzyXEdward whats that supposed to mean? take whatever crap he gives and just lie down like the americans? you have to understand this guy has around 40 to 70 billion dollars in his private account while majority of his people are in poverty and have no future.
@ahmedibenad Not just fox news, CNN, Abc news, News Channel 10, Christian News and all the other news In America. They all say the same thing, but I really don't care. Thats all you see on T.V. is crises about Egypt.
This is the ramblings of a mad man. No rational person would even believe one word of this crap. This guy should be in a straight jacket, and heavily medicated.
not all Muslims are extremists. Muslim extremists are to Islam as the KKK is to Christianity. only 20% of Muslims even live in the middle east and most of them are not extremist. Islam, like Christianity promotes love and peace. while there are a few crazies, most are peaceful people.
a genuine question to all you americans out there, is glenn actually taken seriously in the states?
ive come to this vid from an article in the guardian newspaper, and quite frankly this guys explanations and predictions are what i would expect to hear from some drunk down the pub, not on a news network.
I would like to believe that 90% of the US think Glenn Beck is absolutely fucking retarded. He's just and idiot that abuses the right of free speech....and yes it is something you who expect from some who is trashed. Maybe that is where all his fans come from?
I've been listening to Beck's radio show for several years, and a regular of the tv show for two years. You can disregard the responders with the foul language, you will notice all they do is call names.
Beck has predicted much of what is happening today in the middle east, and has lots of footnote on his research to back up what he says. If Beck says it, it has been researched and you can find links on his website for proof. Glenn Beck dot comm
@yugmrala That is an astonishing slab of nonesense. Beck has predicted, from day one, that the Obama Admisnistration would shut down Fox News and right wing radio, Still waiting. [ Obama will be 'interviewed by Bull Orally of Fox this weekend]. At one point he insinuated FEMA was building concentration camps for dissidents. Still waiting. He is a dry drunk Mormon who adheres to the most radical, paranoid notions put forth by certain Mormon extremist paranoids. He finds SOCCER threatening!
@yugmrala Yeah! And I say to hell with the likes of Anderson Cooper who actually are there in the middle of the conflict getting their asses kicked to tell us what is really happening. Alls ya need is a map with pictures and an extremely loud mouth. Damn liberals anyways!
@conradmilligan you cant believe he has a big following who believe since Obama took office USA is going to become a communist nation. Its funny they always spout about freedom now that all these countries in the middle east are rising to demand freedom and democracy, all of a sudden its a communist movement but again most of his followers are old white racists who used to call Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela communists infact this idiot once called Obama a racist while his mum is white.
@conradmilligan There has always been a paranoid element in American culture. Not long after Obama was elected the sales of guns and ammunition sky-rocketed [ some uotlets ran out of bullets!], so certain were these goons that Obama would take their guns away. He has proprosed ZERO legislation re control [ although he damn well should]. Beck is the High Priest of Paranoia, nevermind that began his career as a radio shock jock and later joined Americas largest cult; the Mormon Church.
e the U.K population is only 2% Muslim, so what "overwhelming population of radical Muslims is Glenn Beck Referring to?
if WW 3 is going to happen what are the sides? Europe, America,India,Japan and probably china all against the middle east? and if you think china would not be on our side why would they join at all? they do not want more land, they can barley police what they have. china is trying to grow spatially not expand outward. they would not want war with any first world country.
It is a war without borders. You aren't paying attention, they want Jews and Christians dead. They only need to be 3% of any population to generate the kind of problems you are seeing in Egypt, and they use the anarchists and socialists like Code Pink and ANSWER to expand the chaos they are causing
@yugmrala the EU is a group of Stable democracies. they are much more democratic then we are. when you are in a country where the communist and the libertarian party both have a small voice in the Parliament, there is not going to be a rebellion. They are debt laden countries, but they are nowhere near collapse. while Greece had protesters when the government cut funding to stop themselves form going bankrupt, they are not going to collapse. it is not impossible, just highly improbable.
@yugmrala no we dont. what are you talking about, we've lived side by side with the jews for 100s of years. in fact if you did your research. you would know we muslims see christianity and judaism as close to islam.
@yugmrala Umm...So Christian/Jew-hating Muslims are using Code Pink to expand their chaos?; or is this a left wing conspiracy wherein an evil Socialist/Fascist/NWO cabal is using the chaos created by the Muslims and the anarchists to usher in their nefarious police state?
If so I wonder who the dark masters are behind the Muslim-hating Christians and if they are using the Tea Party to expand their own brand of social manipulation.
Silly me. Christians have never wanted to control the world.
@yugmrala Okay, please explain how 3 percent of the population overwhelms the remianing 97 percent of the population....or even to mount the kind of protests we have been seeing in Egypt. It defies logic at every turn, assuming. for instance, that the military forces of these countries would simply lay down their arms or suddenly support a TINY minority. Please tell me where you came up with this bizarre calculus? Wait, I think I know.
@yugmrala You have no idea about the people of Egypt then. If the Muslims really wanted Christians and Jews dead they wouldn't have protected the churches from government controlled thugs, the Christians wouldn't have also protected the Muslims while praying from the radical Pro-Mubarak protesters. Stop being an Islamophobic IDIOT!
The U.S. loves democracy, except when the will of the people conflicts with U.S. interests. For example, the Suez Canal belongs to the people of Egypt, and they are opposed to the U.S. invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, so they have every right to prevent U.S. warships from using the Canal. That is one of the main reasons the U.S. has supported the dictator Mubarak all these years.
The Truth has no agenda, but GB does. I don't believe that the U.S. has access to 200 years worth of oil if the Middle East falls, else we wouldn't be so jealously guarding the Suez Canal. And it's hard to imagine a culture so steeped in religion as the Middle East going to bed with Marxists, whose founder called religion "the opium of the people."
As far as "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" goes, conservatives are just as much to blame for this policy as liberals. Iran-Contra was Reagan's brainchild.
@freerangebiped Wrong. Iran-Contra was the brain-child of Col. North, who found a way to fund a program after congress cut off funding. North kept Reagan out of the loop right up until the fit hit the shan.
We are both right. Reagan wanted it done, North found a way to get it done. I have no doubt that if North told Reagan about his plan, Reagan would have nixed it, and North would have had to find another way to raise the money. As a military man myself, I understand the chain of command and the value of "plausible deniability".
The U.S. has compromised its moral high ground by making things happen in other countries in the name of corporate greed and because of some vague fundamentalist Christian notion of protecting Israel until the Apocolypse occurs, whether it be by CIA covert ops or by military intervention. This is why the Middle East hates us.
@freerangebiped Defending Israel against bullies is simply the right thing to do, which is why the current obamanation won't defend her. When we had a real man in the White House, we defended Kuwait against a bully because it was the right thing to do. And, yess, there were other reasons as well, but I believe it would have been done even without the strategery of the region and oil.
@yugmrala Why just Israel? Why not every other country on Earth? You are naive if you think fundamental Christian End-of-Times nutjobs don't play a part in all of this, including GB. But it''s moslty corporate greed.
@yugmrala you mean like what we did in Sudan and Darfur? we only invade countries when it is in our national interest to do so. just like we are against human rights violations unless they are committed by China. we have troops in Japan and South Korea to protect our interest there. personally i think that this is how it should be. we cannot afford to be the world police. we are way over extended already.
@freerangebiped Have you not been paying attention? We have been demanding the politicians get out of the way and let us drill for our own oil for 30 years!!! What the hell is ANWR??? Obama just put a bunch of rigs out of business in the Gulf of Mexico.
Marxism is a political philosophy, regardless who practices it.
"Marxism is a political philosophy, regardless who practices it." Wrong! Apparently it was you not paying attention when the Russians invaded Afghanistan. They were called "godless infidels" by the Afghans, who swore death before occupation by them. They'd sell their mothers to the Rothchilds before joining up with the Marxists. And none of the oil drilling you refer to is readily available oil. It's oil shale or deep sea oil.
Bullcrap on the oil. Anybody with any education knows different. One of our largest untapped resources in this country is natural gas, and many abandoned wells have been discovered to have oil in them again. And they aren't joining or refusing to join "the Marxists". The Muslims favor a style of governing called Marxism.
Everybody who is not a Muslim is a "Godless infidel". Stop being distracted by all this crap and pay attention to what is actually happening
@yugmrala Bullcrap is thinking that millions of vehicles in this country can be run on oil from "abandoned wells.." And the car industry is too damned lazy to come up with a viable car that runs on natural gas. But since you're so educated, why haven't you thought of these things. Or are you waiting for GB to come up with the answers for you? And lumping all Muslims together is as ignorant as lumping all Christians together. The "crap" isn't coming from me, sir.
Rendition wasn't under Clinton. The rendition program was formulated under Cheney and Rumsfeld. That's part of the Patriot Act. Clinto has his dirt in the Middle East and with Egypt but the rendition program in Egypt belongs to the the Bush Administration. Egypt was a stopping point for all high value detainees after Abu Grahb was shut down.
@mercen144 do you know why WWII fixed the great depression? the government spending that was caused by WWII. all we need is more government spending. we do not need a war that will kill millions of people and destroy most of the developed world to do that.
@22439384 oh i couldnt agree more... spend more spend more... but the best way to spend is world war. You know how many countries would become in debt to the bankers? This is not our choice. They will have another 911 event in order to bring us into world war... its up to the power brokers not the people.
@mercen144 destruction is the worst way to spend. if you build a bomb and drop it on someone, it will stimulate demand, but it is complete waste. it does not improve our economy at all. we need to move to the other side of the production possibilities curve and go with investment. the best way for the government to do that is to build infrastructure, not war. almost every country is already in debt, who is to say that a world war won't drive most of the first world countries into bankruptcy?
Why should we stand with you, you destroy Iraq and Afghanistan, you take the riches, our riches from the Gulf for nothing in return, and you support leaders that dictate on us for 30 years without being wanted, killing us, torturing us.
Why do we have to be with you. At least the Iranian government respects its people and doesn't treat them like slaves unlike the egyptian, saudi, jordanian, yemeni, moroccon and former tunisian governments.

His misconceptions are mind-boggling.
afterism20 1 year ago
@afterism20 The protests in Europe are about chaos and riots, regardless of the stated purpose. Setting cars and police on fire is not a protest, it is a rioting mob disrupting peoples lives and preventing work.
The same is true in Wisconsin. Smoking dope and trashing the Capitol building have nothing to do with the stated issues and steel the resolve of the law abiding taxpayers left to do the responsible thing and clean up their mess.
yugmrala 11 months ago
@yugmrala The riots in Europe are designed to get the citizens to call for relief from the chaos, and that's when the solutions show up. Top Down: solve the problem caused by the Bottom Up rioters, Inside Out is the people begging for solutions and peace.
Top Down, Bottom Up, Inside Out.
Pay attention, there will be a test
yugmrala 11 months ago
@yugmrala The protesters in Europe were protesting against government policies, the rioters in Europe were a minority who were either there to riot or protesters who got carried away but they were a tiny minority. Is it a threat to the democratic institutions of europe? Of course not. The revolting populations in the middle-east are fighting for their right to self-determination through democracy and to deny them that is disgraceful. The distinction between the two is blindingly obvious.
afterism20 11 months ago
@afterism20 You are exactly right about the protesters and the rioters. Beck has been warning us about union thugs infiltrating legitimate gatherings here to cause trouble and make peaceful people look bad. That's what the unions are doing in Europe, and the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East. So a relative few are steering a larger crowd, and in the ensuing chaos, a "strong man" emerges to take control and bring an end to the chaos. Soon, the radicals will have control in Egypt, Tunisia, ...
yugmrala 11 months ago
@yugmrala Beck is terrified of anything involving the political left, some union members may be thugs just like anyone from the spectrum of society. It doesn't have anything to do with the movement for worker's rights. Trust the egyptian, libyan, tunisian people etc. in that they want the same rights we have and we must not hinder them in obtaining them. Yes there are undesirable elements in the movement but the majority are trying to remove autocratic rule, they must succeed.
afterism20 11 months ago
@afterism20 I DO trust the people, I don't trust the organizers. The union leadership recruits the people it needs for thugs. The membership are victims of groups that are out to defeat Capitalism. The unions were started by the Communists, I've heard plenty of stories from the early twenties from my grandfather, he was blacklisted for years for opposing them.
Just be aware, union members and the freedom protesters are being used.

tecnolover2642 1 year ago
@tecnolover2642 Glenn Beck has lost 39 percent of his audience in the past year as even die hard fear lovers cannot follow his bizarre, paranoid chalk board antics. Fox 'Power Panel' regular William Kristol recently denounced his yammerings as reckless and dangerous for the conservative cause. Former Bush speech writer David Frum has done the same. Beck is having a slow motion psychiatric breakdown on national television and Fox will have to cut him loose sometime soon.
molloyxx1 11 months ago
@molloyxx1 #1, I don't believe Beck has lost 39 percent of his audience in the past year, His is the highest rated cable show at 5pm by more than double.
His so-called paranoid antics are backed up by hard evidence available to any who wish to check it out.
Kristol and Frum don't watch Beck's show, if they did watch in its entirety they would not make such inaccurate statements.
You come here to make wild claims and waste my time instead of making intelligent debate.
yugmrala 11 months ago
@yugmrala You claim to be interested in 'making' [ odd usage that old boy 'participating in' would have been correct] an intelligent debate yet simply dismiss facts presented to you. google Glenn Becks Ratings Decline and you will find a wealth of support for my position. Very biased and made worse through his attempts of simplification. Why would Hezbollah attack us in Iraq? They are too busy with Lebanon and Israel. yugmrala 1 year ago
SozialeRevolution 1 year ago
@SozialeRevolution Equality of opportunity. Freedom to excel. Communism is an evil concept that punishes achievement and rewards mediocrity. Who decides the value of your work in a communist society? After taking the time and sacrifice to learn a trade I am free to excel in that trade and be rewarded for my excellent work. You are free to fail. I prefer to reward the rugged individual who succeeds. If I want to live in a communist society I will go find one. Please leave my Republic alone.
yugmrala 1 year ago
@yugmrala There is no such thing as "equality of opportunity". Do you really believe, the bourgeoisie (the ruling class, the ones that "succeeded") works harder than the average worker? Or even works at all? It's the mechanisms of capitalism that keep the working class down - or do you think it's "fair" that half of the food produced is thrown away while there is more than a billion people starving? Read The Capital and the Communist Manifesto - it makes you understand and reject capitalism.

Moreover, his chalk-board presntations are so fractured and anti-linear they often can't follow what the hell he is saying.
molloyxx1 1 year ago
@molloyxx1 makes sense, him referring to the ''saddam and mubarak as bad guys we went to bed with'' is sooo childish, what kinda political assessment is that?
ahmedibenad 1 year ago
Such a hose job. Beck never goes into the complicity of the far-right in the US govt. subverting democratic, albeit socialist, uprisings in foreign countries in the name of stopping the spread of Communism. These dictators were put into power and/or supported by the US to defeat the "scourge" Beck himself rails against every night.
He omits this to preserve his narrative of "the progressives" as history's evil bogeymen. This is why Beck is a fraud and simply a tool of the FOX news agenda.
psychicwhoosh 1 year ago
The following is but one reason why Beck is an insipid, cynical tool of the GOP: At about 9:11 (spooky) he shows ol' evil Carter and the Shah of Iran in a photo op together, convenient to Beck's narrative since the Iranian revolution took place during the Carter admin. What Beck fails to tell you is the Shah was put into power by a CIA lead coup which overthrew an Iranian democracy, ordered by the Eisenhower administration, a conservative administration who justified this as "fighting communism"

@JazzyXEdward nobody dictates who america elects for in your presidential elections, why should you dictate for the middle east????? no matter who they elect you should listen to the people as your a nation of democracy, isint that true? if you're going to exclude certain parties whom you dont like then how is that different to mubaraks rule? or any dictators rule?
ahmedibenad 1 year ago
@ahmedibenad @ahmedibenad You nailed the deep contradiction inherent in the Conservative psyche when it comes to the self-determination of foreign nations. From their point of view a nation can only be "democratic" if it adheres to a western pro-capitalism model. True democratic choice is only viable if it keeps the US the main player. This is why we overwhelmingly support dictatorial regimes: to keep our economic interests intact. Isn't Beck really saying that Mubarak is a preferable choice?
psychicwhoosh 1 year ago
@ahmedibenad Just going by what I hear on the news. Who ever over the country should listen to the people. I do agree, but why get rid of the person who over the country because of whatever they're protesting? Why not protest and tell the Egyptian president to lower food prices and stuff? And what freedom are they talking about? I don't see them in chains and in slavery like their neighbors in Sudan.
JazzyXEdward 1 year ago
@JazzyXEdward that opening line summed you up. you are not worth debating with at all. just by what you hear on news???? what! am guessing thats fox news?
ahmedibenad 1 year ago

@yugmrala That is an astonishing slab of nonesense. Beck has predicted, from day one, that the Obama Admisnistration would shut down Fox News and right wing radio, Still waiting.

@conradmilligan There has always been a paranoid element in American culture. if WW 3 is going to happen what are the sides? Europe, America,India,Japan and probably china all against the middle east? and if you think china would not be on our side why would they join at all? they do not want more land, they can barley police what they have. china is trying to grow spatially not expand outward. they would not want war with any first world country.
22439384 1 year ago 2
@22439384
It is a war without borders. You aren't paying attention, they want Jews and Christians dead. They only need to be 3% of any population to generate the kind of problems you are seeing in Egypt, and they use the anarchists and socialists like Code Pink and ANSWER to expand the chaos they are causing
yugmrala 1 year ago 2
@yugmrala the EU is a group of Stable democracies. they are much more democratic then we are. when you are in a country where the communist and the libertarian party both have a small voice in the Parliament, there is not going to be a rebellion. They are debt laden countries, but they are nowhere near collapse. while Greece had protesters when the government cut funding to stop themselves form going bankrupt, they are not going to collapse. it is not impossible, just highly improbable.
22439384 1 year ago
@yugmrala no we dont. what are you talking about, we've lived side by side with the jews for 100s of years. in fact if you did your research. you would know we muslims see christianity and judaism as close to islam.
ahmedibenad 1 year ago
@yugmrala Umm...So Christian/Jew-hating Muslims are using Code Pink to expand their chaos?; or is this a left wing conspiracy wherein an evil Socialist/Fascist/NWO cabal is using the chaos created by the Muslims and the anarchists to usher in their nefarious police state?
If so I wonder who the dark masters are behind the Muslim-hating Christians and if they are using the Tea Party to expand their own brand of social manipulation.
Silly me. Christians have never wanted to control the world.
psychicwhoosh 1 year ago
@yugmrala Okay, please explain how 3 percent of the population overwhelms the remianing 97 percent of the population....or even to mount the kind of protests we have been seeing in Egypt. It defies logic at every turn, assuming. for instance, that the military forces of these countries would simply lay down their arms or suddenly support a TINY minority. Please tell me where you came up with this bizarre calculus? Wait, I think I know.
molloyxx1 1 year ago

Iran-Contra was Reagan's brainchild.
freerangebiped 1 year ago
@freerangebiped Wrong. Iran-Contra was the brain-child of Col. North, who found a way to fund a program after congress cut off funding. North kept Reagan out of the loop right up until the fit hit the shan.
yugmrala 1 year ago
Wrong. Reagan wanted the Contras to win, and made it happen with Ollie North.
freerangebiped 1 year ago
@freerangebiped
We are both right. Reagan wanted it done, North found a way to get it done. I have no doubt that if North told Reagan about his plan, Reagan would have nixed it, and North would have had to find another way to raise the money. As a military man myself, I understand the chain of command and the value of "plausible deniability".
yugmrala 1 year ago
The U.S. has compromised its moral high ground by making things happen in other countries in the name of corporate greed and because of some vague fundamentalist Christian notion of protecting Israel until the Apocolypse occurs, whether it be by CIA covert ops or by military intervention. This is why the Middle East hates us.
freerangebiped 1 year ago 2
@freerangebiped Defending Israel against bullies is simply the right thing to do, which is why the current obamanation won't defend her. When we had a real man in the White House, we defended Kuwait against a bully because it was the right thing to do. And, yess, there were other reasons as well, but I believe it would have been done even without the strategery of the region and oil.
yugmrala 1 year ago
@yugmrala Why just Israel? Why not every other country on Earth? You are naive if you think fundamental Christian End-of-Times nutjobs don't play a part in all of this, including GB. But it''s moslty corporate greed.
freerangebiped 1 year ago
@yugmrala you mean like what we did in Sudan and Darfur? we only invade countries when it is in our national interest to do so. just like we are against human rights violations unless they are committed by China. we have troops in Japan and South Korea to protect our interest there. personally i think that this is how it should be. we cannot afford to be the world police. we are way over extended already.
22439384 1 year ago
@freerangebiped Have you not been paying attention? We have been demanding the politicians get out of the way and let us drill for our own oil for 30 years!!! What the hell is ANWR??? Obama just put a bunch of rigs out of business in the Gulf of Mexico.
Marxism is a political philosophy, regardless who practices it.
yugmrala 1 year ago
"Marxism is a political philosophy, regardless who practices it." Wrong! Apparently it was you not paying attention when the Russians invaded Afghanistan. They were called "godless infidels" by the Afghans, who swore death before occupation by them. They'd sell their mothers to the Rothchilds before joining up with the Marxists. And none of the oil drilling you refer to is readily available oil. It's oil shale or deep sea oil.
freerangebiped 1 year ago
@freerangebiped
Stop being distracted by all this crap and pay attention to what is actually happening
yugmrala 1 year ago
@yugmrala Bullcrap is thinking that millions of vehicles in this country can be run on oil from "abandoned wells.." And the car industry is too damned lazy to come up with a viable car that runs on natural gas. But since you're so educated, why haven't you thought of these things. Or are you waiting for GB to come up with the answers for you? And lumping all Muslims together is as ignorant as lumping all Christians together. The "crap" isn't coming from me, sir.

@yugmrala a part of that political philosophy is atheism, something that Muslims are against.

Question....I dont understand how can World War 2 Fix our economic Depression?
Answer.......World War 3
The bankers are moving thier pawns... Whats your move?
mercen144 1 year ago
@mercen144 do you know why WWII fixed the great depression? the government spending that was caused by WWII. all we need is more government spending. we do not need a war that will kill millions of people and destroy most of the developed world to do that.
22439384 1 year ago
@22439384 oh i couldnt agree more... spend more spend more... but the best way to spend is world war. You know how many countries would become in debt to the bankers? This is not our choice. They will have another 911 event in order to bring us into world war... its up to the power brokers not the people.
mercen144 1 year ago
@mercen144 destruction is the worst way to spend. if you build a bomb and drop it on someone, it will stimulate demand, but it is complete waste. it does not improve our economy at all. we need to move to the other side of the production possibilities curve and go with investment. the best way for the government to do that is to build infrastructure, not war. almost every country is already in debt, who is to say that a world war won't drive most of the first world countries into bankruptcy?
22439384 1 year ago
Why should we stand with you, you destroy Iraq and Afghanistan, you take the riches, our riches from the Gulf for nothing in return, and you support leaders that dictate on us for 30 years without being wanted, killing us, torturing us.
Why do we have to be with you. At least the Iranian government respects its people and doesn't treat them like slaves unlike the egyptian, saudi, jordanian, yemeni, moroccon and former tunisian governments.
