Re 'traxxasrockhead', the tub is made out of carbon fibre, and that ramp thing is a set of scales, it enables the team to balance the weight of the car

The crash happened on Thrusday. Qualifying was on Friday. We were in the paddock when the FedEx truck brought the brand new naked tub in.

The crash happened on Thursday afternoon.  Qualifying was later that day. The rebuild took all day Friday and was ready for the warm-up on Saturday morning. The race was on Saturday.

That's an LMP1 car, not LMP2.

Closest thing you can get to a road-legal LMP are the various Radical sportscars. The current generation feature aerodynamics designs based off of LMPs(learned thanks to Acura's entry into LMP2).
