I actually think Ezra is the ONLY person in the whole series who have never ever met Alison or some past with her like some people in the series. For example Toby:She threatend him. Ian: Dated. Noel: Hated her. The girls: Best friends. Girls' Parents: knew her. Jason: Her brother. (Unless I'm wrong ?)
