Vipers 96-99 sound like that with just a 3 inch exhaust. Those cars came with a decent amount of cam from the factory. In 2000 they changed to a cam with less overlap and bleed down lifters to meet emissions.

I wouldnt put too much money on that. The Ford GT is not very impressive (and I am a Ford fan) and adding heads and a cam to such a big engine will add a lot of power.

I agree, but I think the only viper that's been designed as a track car first is the new acr, the 2nd gen acr kind of half and half, but vipers are muscle cars, and cruisers, and lady getters, I honestly would rather do a burnout then go around a track, but that's just me.

I can imagine the stock Viper heads can take a pretty big cam. I have a 2000 Formula and the stock LS1 heads can take up to a 224 cam. That V10 must be able to take a bigger one than that

a 224 is a small cam for an ls1. you can go with a 240s/240s with .650 lift on stock heads.
