Private industry will use you just as quckly sometimes and won't hire you even after 6 months of being at the same company. Right then and there one makes a decision and jumps to better horizons. We all work where we have to in order to survive.

Good Workers don't need Unions. Good workers will be rewarded and retained if the business condtions call for a reduction in force. Unions are set up to benefit the ones running the Unions and the mediocre and poor workers. It's that simple. Unions try to defy the laws of economics and that will never work.
