Ctrl+C doesn't work on a well forged fork bomb. It only works if the code generates a single process each time and then silences.

An average fork bomb (like the one on the vid) generates a tree of processes, depending on your hardware power, from 72 to 240 processes per second, which also create proccesses of their own... at that point, Ctrl+C can end only one process.

Imagine pressing the keys 5 times in a second (real fast), you'll end 5 of almost 130 processes, 4300 in two secs

linux forkbombs are worse, it took like 2 seconds form my laptop to lockup, dual core, 2 gigs ram, ubuntu. Can't even use magic sysreq keys, had ot do a hard restart.

I've put a fork bomb, and a batch that restarts a computer into a zip file. This lets you send them over msn....yes thats right...I've also found one that completely mucks up the computers msn...its been so much fun
