This is a magnificent composition by Freddie Mercury. The only thing that disturbs is this awful woman who spoils it. Freddie Mercury was abused by her, she just jumped on the bandwagon of his fame, success and stardom to make a fortune.

@MegaBradley01 The "awful woman" is Montserrat Caballe. While you don't have to appreciate her, calling it "bandwagon jumping" is a bit of a stretch. She is world famous in her own right, and hardly needs a boost.

LOL. She can't sing in tune. Not to speak of her incapability to compose, among others. She is just a mediocre opera singer who only became - really - world famous, when Freddie Mercury agreed upon giving her permission to sing on a record of his. And to produce a video.
It's so ridiculous. You don't understand anything and you haven't got the slightest clue. But as soon as a person bears the label "opera" or "classical" it is regarded as very sophisticated - it isn't.

Addition: Of course she has sunk back to where she was after "Barcelona" and has stayed there ever since. You are honestly ridiculous enough to seriously compare her "fame" to the fame of Freddie Mercury? Of course she needed a boost. Record sales of classical musicians are by far lower than the ones of successful contemporary musicians. To compare the capabilities and success of Monserrat Caballe to Freddie Mercury is like comparing a mole hill to Mount Everest.

This was Freddy's dream. It's so very sad that he died shortly after his dream came true. He had a truely unique and powerful voice. These too were a wonderful match.

This was a collaboration that worked so well. Don't know whose idea it was, but it gave us a magical performance (and just the right song for the '92 Olympics). Freddie held his own singing alongside one of the world's top divas and didn't he look smart!
