  • Must be Thor the lightning God !

  • that is lighten...

  • @jezuzfreek777

If you say God makes the lighting and thereby natural phenomena, why did he cause the earthquakes in Haïti and Chili then??? Did those poeple do something wrong? And what about all the hurricanes?

  • :)

    STRENGTH IN CHRIST!!

  • WHEN the rain came it creep me out

  • God is awesome

  • lol this happened to me once, i couldda swore it was daylight

  • god's lightning? eh, i prefer electrical discharge

  • I'm pretty sure that was my lightning bolt, not God's

  • good job Thor!

  • zomg!! Clouds rubbing together causing static electricity to build it and come down is the hand of JAY-SUS, obviously it can't be static electricity which science has proven.

  • Okay a lot of you people below me are very confused. When you say "a belief in a god", that is one of the biggest atheistic mistakes. Just about every other god is a man made lie. We all know there is no buddha, zeus, and any other type of false idol fools create. Darwin's theory has been proven false time and time again. Science backs that up also. FYI if you atheist's stepped outside of your inclosed minds, then you would see that science leads us to the one and only true God of the Bible.

  • Well what If I say YOUR god is a man made lie how can you for a fact prove, that the so called holy babble was written by your god, because people say it was, and you just listen to whatever people tell you? "Oh the earth was created in 7 days because people tell me that it was so it must be true!!!111!" "FYI if you atheist's stepped outside of your inclosed minds, then you would see that science leads us to the one and only true God of the Bible." ROFL

  • It's funny that you say we atheists have inclosed minds, when we are more accepting of science, and the theory of evolution than your bibles so called theory that every was put on earth in 7 days, and it was all magically perfect. There are so many holes and contradictions in that book than I have ever seen. That's a riot you saying we have inclosed minds, and no science does not lead us to god, I have no idea where you got that idea, you really should go back to school and try to learn somethin

  • wow some lighting bolts!!! so i have to believe in god now?

  • all hail Zeus!

  • And you silly christians dare doubt the existence of Thor the Norse God of Thunder!?!? Silly deluded fools. No Valhalla for you.

  • this is a god! its ZEUS! muhahahahahah

  • oh , i bet it's zeus and not god .

or maybe even thor meh i tend to confuse them , they have so much in common .

  • ahem. "satan can masqurade as an angel of light" "so its no wonder that the demons who folo him will mimic his moves and act as an angle of light aswell" demons can come to earth, and they can do watever they wish, in the greek times or egyption. or wenever, demons ultiamtly want to become God, and in most cases even today "musilm.hindu.ect" they did unfortuanlty. one way.. and that is ~God~Yahweh~

  • Praise zeus!

  • So what about all the houses that burn down and the people that are scarred for life or even killed by lightning strikes?

Did they "have it coming" for speaking God/Yahweh/YHWH/Yehovah's name in vain or something?

Or is it just "God's awesome lightning" when it just looks cool, and "Satan's stupid lightning" whenever somebody gets hurt?

And why do god's displays of power so often have to involve people dieing?

  • well my friend, i have an answer!! Your father makes the sun rise on the just and the unjust, and he makes the rain pour down upon the good and the evil men. we are all equal in god's eyes basically, you can not live in god's heart without tribulation, and you can not come to god without sin. from the moment your born you are empty and hurt, and your body begins dying. Satan himself was god's creation, he chose evil, god could have made him non existent, but he had mercy even on the most evil.

  • and to his own son, he brought death. the greatest pain a man can feel, to be killed by the people he loved and tried to help, and forsaken by his own apostles. he gained NOTHING and gave his life. so tell me, if god didn't destroy satan the instant he turned, and god let his own son die in humiliation, then why in the world would pain be kept away from us? or happiness kept from evil men? God knows we are all capable of perfection through him, and we are all tested and shown mercy. good answer?

  • wish it would rain more over here

  • Fulgora's Awesome Lightning Bolt.

  • Pretty awesome man.

  • gods striking down on you for making shitty youtube videos

  • This is truly the work of a god. Tor's thunders are awesome !!!

    All praise the almighty Tor.

  • Can I get some proof that your god made this?

    Thought so.

  • Can I get some proof you are not a cynic? Thought so.

  • Very interesting - god creates lightning bolts, JF? Lightning that kills people, destroys homes... What about Gods awesome tornado? Gods awesome flood? Gods awesome drought? If you want your god to take responsibility for this act of nature, he has to take responsibility for *all*!

  • jezuzfreek777, it's amazing how you seem to have even more criticism over the title of your video than the videos you make discussing things from a Christian point of view. It is very encouraging know that there are people out there that will stand up for the truth. Lightning is a beautiful part of God's creation and I love that you got it on video so I can see it more than once and really appreciate the beauty of it. Thank you for posting this video.

  • I love thunderstorms! Such an awesome display of nature!

    Anyways Jezusfreak. Cheers for that!

  • I once saw God kill a bull with a lightening bolt. But the bull deserved it. It never went to church and wasn't circumcised.

  • I love thunder and lightning storms. You get to see one of the most awesome displays of GOD's power and glory, but its not even a tiny, tiny, little smidgen of his power. He is so GREAT and ALMIGHTY! He created everything! Unto him be glory, honor and praise. It makes me think: Why if you can see how amazing he is, why doesn't everyone put their faith in him and trust him? Awesome vid brother. Love him because he first loved us. May God bless you.

  • Technically thunder storms are just tiny displays of "his" power... Just look up all the awesome things that happen in space.

  • [sob] Anthony, you did it. I BELIEVE. Thank you [sob] THANK you.

Now please excuse me while I go worship THOR. All hail THOR oh mighty hammer wielding sparkplugger thee. w00t.

    Seriously, Anthony. lolwut?

  • Zeus is the best God

  • Whoa...I think Zeus, the one and only king of gods, is mad at you. You should sacrifice a lamb or something to soothe him.

  • Blasphemer!

How dare you go against almighty Thor, who is the one and only true god of thunder and lighting!

  • DOUBLE BLASPHEMER!

Bow down before the mighty deities of Donner and Blitzen. All hail Rudolf. Now bow and REPENT.

  • Thor's power is truly magnificent.

  • Gotta love Thor...he does make awesome thunderbolts.

  • and lightning. Very very frightening. ME. Galileo. Galileo Figaro. MAGNIFICO

  • JF777, I have to ask this; do you ever just sit here reading all the comments of people bashing you for literally no reason? You posted a video of a thunder bolt, therefore, your head must be served on a silver platter, that makes sense!

  • I have learned morons run rampant. Its best to ignore the vermin.

  • quite intreding if i may ask , i always loved the sound of rain . it gives me the comfort to sit at home , relax and watch television , very peaceful , thank you for sharing !

  • A sacrifice to Donar. Of course it makes sense. He shall give me a thousand wrinkly prunes.

  • A thousand wrinkly prunes? Pishaw!

I say two Male Hairy's and a Hour Fodder and behold.

Ritz Crackers fall from the sky! Oh, manna!!

  • LOL

  • soo youre implying that god is "awesome" because he "creates" lightning storms?

so is it "awesome" that god kills around 58 people per year from this very event alone? not counting hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, flash floods, etc.....but i guess we deserve all of these natural disasters for not worshiping god the way he wants us to.

  • I think it is awesome because when have you seen a human create a lightning bolt? Yes, people do die from them, but how can one blame God when people were the ones that sinned and brought it upon themselves? The punishment for sin is death; God has every right to kill us at a young age, the first time we sin. But he chooses to have mercy. If I were in God's place, I wouldn't have given myself another chance. I have trouble seeing how he could be willing to forgive me for my sins, but he has.

  • Google "lighting generator".

  • or rather, lightNing

  • Thor = Thunder God!!!

    retards!!!

    dont u know anything??

  • No! that's the work of Astrape, handmaiden of Zeus and Greek Goddess of lightening!

don't be so ridiculous jezuzfreek, you're an adult.

  • Sorry JF777 but ZEUS is the god of lightning.

  • are you retarded? just asking.

  • WEAK. i've seen far far more amazing lighting, in person.

also, God? if you think about it... God never claimed to make the laws of physics... the laws of nature... thermodynamics.... anything of that sort. God only made Heaven, Hell, Sun, Sky, Earth, Seas, animals, humans, the stars... and i think that's it. He never claimed that any of the natural phenomenon were his craft. He used them from time to time... but never claimed to make them

o... and the rainbow to remind us of his near genocide

  • /facepalm

He knows people have probably saw better. He did not post it for that reason. You just wanted to fight you fuckwit.

  • /facepalm

you focused on the incredibly minor part of my comment and decided to proceed with an ad hominem rather than actually commenting with anything meaningful.

  • That is the part you have mentioned, and that was the part that is idiotic. You have shown nothing but petite intelligence with both comments and you still audacity to think you should be taken seriously. A man shines with wit and vivacity; you avoid the topic at hand and make petty attacks. You're quite the character!

  • so you're ad hominem-ing me for a chunk of my comment that is about 1/5 of the total comment? a comment that was pretty much just a joke while the main point followed right behind...

how can you say i avoid the topic at hand when 4/5 of the original comment is on-topic?

how can you say i'm resorting to petty attacks when you've now resorted to ad hominem about six times now to my, maybe, once. depends how you interpret /facepalm.

if anyone is being audacious here, i'd have to say it's you.

  • facepalm.jpeg

  • facepalm.jpg*

  • Facepalm.png

  • yep, thats very cool, but it has nothing to do with god .... =/

  • Pathetic.

  • God Bless You JF! Don't let the ignorant atheists get to you!

  • I hope one day JF777 pulls his head out of his ass and realizes what a gullible sucker he has been all his life.

  • That was Thor, not God!

  • No it's Zeus! That's blasphemy!

  • "Ride the Lightning!" haha =)

  • Or how about the men who landed on the moon - on there way home they gave communion to a creator ! Interesting that Christians where on the moon first . And gave thanks to God . Wired I know .

  • It's really not that incredible, and I live in England where the weather is truly boring.

Why attribute it to a God anyway? I think most people would agree it's a natural process and can sometimes cause very bad damage to life & property.

  • He doesn't literally think god is personally intervening and making these clouds earth their charge each time it happens. At least I hope he doesn't.

  • i think that was zeus's

  • I lol'd.

  • R.C. Sproul writes in The Holiness of God, Men are never duly touched and impressed with a conviction of their insignificance, until they have contrasted themselves with the majesty of God.

  • I'm curious, would that still be so awesome if it hit a building?

How's about if that building was your church?

If you want to call the awe that all people have when they witness nature 'god', then good luck to you. But remember, for every time that god is awesome and makes something that looks cool, god is also awesome and destroying someone's home/livelihood/life etc

Even IF I was able to believe that there was some unknown force controlling nature, I think it's a little crass to worship it

  • Those are some powerful lightning bolts! I'm sure god was showing some INFIDELS his wrath!

  • The heavens declare the Glory of God.

    Great video thanks JF

    God bless =)

  • I find it amazing how in 1:05-1:06 how lightning can turn pitch black night into almost clear day time for like anywhere from half a second to like a second.

  • ah, zeus used a lightning bolt to destroy sparta, apparently, he's still around.

  • ZEUS!!!

  • Begs the question, why do churches have lightning rods?

  • Lack of faith.

  • Love thunder storms.

  • Of course theists think it's perfectly ok that God created everything from nothing, LMAO. Not only that, this white bearded man in a nightgown, somehow always existed without any explanation. Yea, that's good science, LMAO. Take your religion and flush it down the toilet because that's where it's heading as soon as the younger generation sees how the previous generations were totally fooled into being brainwashed.

  • Okay. Lets say God doesnt exist. What created the universe?? (And for the record, God doesnt need a creator! He is God and the human mind cannot begin to understand Him or how He works because we are human and He is God. Almighty. All Knowing.) There has to be one point in time where someone with power beyond human understanding created the universe. otherwise, EVERYTHING came from NOTHING? so let me ask you this. How can "nothing" create "everything?" =D

  • Neither of us know the answer to how nothing can create anything, so stop pretending like you know. Take some courses in advanced calculus, chemistry, and physics and strive to try to find the answers rather than just being some ignorant holier-than-thou ass on the internet posting how your myths are more valid than everything else.

  • Until you can show something that is created without nothing , your on the wrong side of the tracks ( I know it takes a creator to um Create ) Logic is a good thing to have . Im not hear to debate you about God but you know deep down inside this world is not by chance -

  • I love how the answer to everything is automatically "God." It's the bias of the religious, which separates them from the scientific community. And no, it doesn't take a creator to create. The grand canyon was formed over millions of years of erosion. No "creator" involved.

  • I love how you think the " Scientific community " is the key to truth , all the greatest minds in life where Christians - Christians that gave light and energy - Christians that explained the physical world . Yes that community , a community of scientific laws , that related to a creator . The only thing what separates me from you , would be the Ape .

  • Ok then how do you explain the deaths of astronauts in the challenger disaster? that couldn't be gods fault could it?

  • Sickness and Death happen in this short life . The book of Job talks about suffering and loss . And no God already set up the design , its up to you to choose your destiny . With or without God . When you look at this life as " IT " then your hope is lost . When you see life through the eyes of the creator , you would understand life is but the beginning of hope .

  • Classic, so sickness and death just "happen" but great human accomplishments, such as landing on the moon can't possibly be just human? It has to be due to god?

The bible, and christianity, and Religion in general is bullshit.

  • What about when God's lightening bolts strike and kill worshiping Christians?

  • very cool

  • nice! California - still no rains - I miss them :)

  • were was this?

  • I like whenever you pause in the middle of the lighning bolt it looks like it's morning. lol

    Praise da lord!

  • lol. so mother nature made it, but god stole the product and called it his own did he?

  • that was hectic

  • Dear jezuzfreek, ... do you think god is controlling the weather worldwide, like every rain drop, every gust of wind?

Or is it a process he put in place?

  • Cool dude

  • Awesome, Zeus is great indeed!

  • wodan is a great god

  • I lol at these youtube debaters below.

  • Go thor!

  • I love you jf, only you could create a comments section so hilarious.

  • That looks super cool, the sound of the rain is soo epic.

  • paused at 1:10 is amazing

  • Truly, Bob Dobbs in an awesome Bob.

  • I saw some beutiful lightning, but I was disappointed, as I didn't see any God. I did, however see a discharge of electricity which frequently happens when clouds reach an elevation where the ambient temperature is -21 Celcius. HHmmm. I gave it a five star rating for cool lightning.

  • I'm so glad god made toilet paper too. He is clearly smart enough to know how much we would need it.

  • BEHOLD, the great power of ZEUS! Tremble feeble mortals or be fried in your shoes!

  • Epic Fail!!!. El from the Canaanites is the God of the Storm!!! Don't make me come over there! LOL

  • I thought that God ALLOWED things like lightning, earthquakes, and tsunamis to happen rather than being the creator of those things.

  • the title was put in not because he was serious guys, i mean honestly. I hate atheists.

  • Mother Nature: Now proof of God, or Zeus, or Lord Zenu... or something.

  • Impressive! I enjoy thunderstorms. Lightning is especially awesome to look at.

  • Oh...My...Shit...

There it is!The proof that we've all been waiting for!

    God really exists!!!

  • that was epic

  • monstrous

  • Good job cutting the cool stuff out.

  • whoah i didnt know that lightnings effect on videocameras too like that. Cool to know

  • It's funny, JezuzFreek, how you have no problem believing God makes lightning simply by allowing the top of a cloud to gain a positive charge as electrons are removed from rising evaporated moisture by suspended and sinking water droplets and ice crystals, allowing wind currents to move newly formed negatively charged ice crystals from that rising moisture to the bottom of the cloud, adding to its negative charge,

  • allowing the new electrical field to downwardly repulse elections on the ground, giving it a positive charge, and to separate air molecules into channels of electrons and cations growing from the cloud to the ground, and vices versa, allowing the two cannels to connect, and allowing elections flow from the cloud to the ground, neutralizing the charge separation and heating the surrounding air enough to produce a flash of light as it expands, causing a pressure wave to propagate through the air.

  • ...yet you are wholeheartedly convinced that God didn't make humans by allowing natural, neutral and sexual selection, mutation, gene flow, and genetic drift to change the gene frequencies in separated ancestral populations of organisms, such that they underwent repeated genetic divergences... odd.

  • He put it in the title for shiggles.I mean for the love of Pete, relax your jammies.

You people are way too uptight for yuor own good.

  • "He put it in the title for shiggles [sic]."

Regelemihai, I never addressed is motives for making the statement he made, but his statement is both consistent with previous statements he has made and with those made by other laymen that reject evolutionary theory (Ray Comfort, for example). It is for these reasons that my statement is quite appropriate, here.

  • "I mean for the love of Pete, relax your jammies."

What exactly are you asking me to relax? JezuzFreek's statement neither makes me upset, nor angry, nor energetic. Are you asking me to think less or to be less inquisitive? If so, I disagree that less of such traits is a benefit to me.

    Date: 1934

1 a : being tense (nope), nervous (nope), or uneasy (nope) [uptight overachievers]

Since my statement doesn't display anger (nor am I angry), I'll say it again; I don't see how one could find my statement as indicative of my being 'uptight.'

  • Relax in the sense that you choose to give a thorough serious response (in order to intimidate) to something that was meant to be light-hearted.

When theists do that we're usually accused of being zealous, close-minded, and so forth.

    That kinda' threw me off.

  • Why is "shiggles" an error?

I reject Ray Comfort's ignorance as well, but I can take a joke.

  • "Relax in the sense that you choose to give a thorough serious response (in order to intimidate) to something that was meant to be light-hearted."

Regelemihai, firstly, I disagree with your premise that jovial remarks deserve a total lack of thorough, serious responses. Regardless of the intention behind a given remark, if that remark touches on a deeper issue, I find it very much appropriate to delve into that issue.

  • Secondly, I resent your claim that my thorough elucidation of knowledge of the physical world was an act of intimidation. Its specificity was intended to both illustrate the length and nature of the chain of cause and effect relationships that comprise the phenomenon (lightning) genuinely held to be an indirect work of God (regardless of the intent behind the disclosure), and to show its equivalence to the chain of cause and effect relationships that comprise biological change (evolution).

  • "When theists do that we're usually accused of being zealous, close-minded, and so forth."

Keeping in mind that I didn't engage in intimidation, and that those who do are worthy of criticism for doing so, all I can say is that I have no control over the unfair criticisms leveled by others—whether they be atheists, theists, democrats, republicans, vegetarians, etc.

  • "Why is 'shiggles' an error?"

You are not necessarily in error for using the word 'shiggles.' Although 'sic' is usually meant to denote the correct transcription of an erroneous word or usage of a word, it is also used to denote the correct transcription of any word that is uncommon or is of questionable veracity. Since 'shiggles' isn't found in any dictionary, I thought it best to play it safe and use 'sic.'

  • actually natural phenomenon explains nothing, with out God there would be no such thing as what you percieve as natural phenomenon...there would be no matter in general because matter doesn't form out of nothing. If God had n't created the earth and universe or even humans with a mental capability, "natural phenomenon" would cease to exist as would everything.Even science backs God, there has to be something that made everything, atheist believe NOTHING created everything, which is non scientific

  • What made God? If God does not require a maker, then neither does the universe.

  • 1.Everything which has a beginning has a cause.1

    2.The universe has a beginning.

3.Therefore the universe has a cause.

  • "1.Everything which has a beginning has a cause"

    Logical fallacy

    Your assumption has no premise.

  • Really care to share why ?

  • "Everything which has a beginning has a cause"

While it is true that all evidence indicates that all phenomena on the macroscopic level is strictly bound by causality, there is no such consensuses of evidence for interactions on the quantum level. On the quantum level, evidence indicates that some things happen without causality:

  • "Quantum phenomenon, such as atomic transitions and radioactive decay of nuclei, seem to happen without prior cause. In fact, the highly successful theory of quantum mechanics does not predict the occurrence of these events, just their probabilities for taking place;... we have no current basis for assuming such cause exist. After all Quantum mechanics is almost a century old and has been utilized with immense success over the period, with no sign of such causes ever being found."

  • "In the everyday world, energy is always unalterably fixed; the law of energy conservation is a cornerstone of classical physics. But in the quantum microworld, energy can appear and disappear out of nowhere in a spontaneous and unpredictable fashion."

  • "...the idea of a First Cause sounds somewhat fishy in light of the modern theory of quantum mechanics. According to the most commonly accepted interpretation of quantum mechanics, individual subatomic particles can behave in unpredictable ways and there are numerous random, uncaused events."

  • Your argument now directed towards God:

    1. Everything that has a beginning has a cause

    2. God has a beginning

    3. Therefore God has a cause.

I bet you have already found the problem in both! (the second made it easy for you). Your God has no beginning, right? Well, we don't know that the universe does either.

Second problem, not everything with a beginning has a cause. Everything in the universe that we have observed does, but not necessarily the totality of all things themselves.

  • Your right I give respect to the Creator ! No matter what you say or how you deal with it . There is no getting by the fact that , creation can't be without a creator ! Its impossible . Energy on its own would be destructive , not creative .

  • In contrast, there is good evidence that the universe had a beginning. This can be shown from the Laws of Thermodynamics, the most fundamental laws of the physical

1st Law: The total amount of mass-energy in the universe is constant.

2nd Law: The amount of energy available for work is running out, or entropy is increasing to a maximum.

    3+2 = cause

  • Energy is not only destructive, as you claim. The energy of the sun is what fuels photosynthesis in plants and causes all of plant life to grow. Not destructive.

When a star goes nova and explodes only to condense later into planetary matter that forms into new star systems, then life grows on that planet, something has been created without a creator. The first law and second laws are held.

But if God creates from nothing (Christian doctrine) or forms order from chaos, both are violated.

  • You say God can't create from nothing, but if you believe in evolution, where did everything come from? The dust formed into planets, but where did the dust come from? The dust formed from matter, but where did the matter come from? If you've seen matter form from nothing, I'd be interested to know what happened, because I've sure never seen it or heard of anyone who has. And if science is the something that can be observed, but matter forming hasn't been observed, how is evolution "science"?

  • llDefecTedll, you continue to proclaim the necessity of a cause, yet you have ignored my explanation of why there doesn't necessarily need to be one. Why is that?

  • 1. PROVE IT

    2. PROVE IT

    3. PROVE IT

  • (1.Its all around you)

    (2.Its all around you)

    (3.Its all around you)

  • that isn't even relevant, let aloneable to be proved either way! You still have to prove whatever you claim "it" is! I could say that the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" is all around me but that wouldn't prove anything to do with what i may claim to be the truth of origin! Stop dancing around the question and actually give me some proof!

  • "without god there would be no such thing as what you percieve as natural phenomenon" Really?? Really??????

Do you really think that the whole universe was created by a god that could only put life on one in every trillion planets? (estimation)

Also, atheists don't necessarily believe that nothing created everything, they believe that nature and science is much much closer to the (truly unknown) truth, rather than any ancient set of stories and rules that is as fictitious as "The Hobbit"

  • I don't know about the person you are replying to but I sure do. I think a God creating everything is much more plausible then evolution that came from no where and the animals that came from nothing that can from the dust that appeared magically from the matter that didn't exist. That's how I see it anyway. But I don't think it's a matter of God only being able to place life on one planet, but that he chose to.

  • "...if you believe in evolution, where did everything come from? The dust formed into planets, but where did the dust come from? The dust formed from matter, but where did the matter come from? If you've seen matter form from nothing, I'd be interested to know what happened, because I've sure never seen it or heard of anyone who has. And if science is the something that can be observed, but matter forming hasn't been observed, how is evolution 'science?'"

  • Firstly, shadowcat228, you are confusing models. The evolutionary model only describes the proliferation of life—not the formation of life or of the formation of the universe. Even the model that describes the formation of life from non-life (abiogenesis) doesn't describe the formation of the universe.

  • The only thing evolutionary theory says is, "however life began, once it did, this is how it proliferated." The evidence for evolution is overwhelming, and any evidence (or lack there of) regarding how life began or how the universe began has no bearing on what life did once it came into being. Whether the universe and/or life began naturally, was created by a deity, was created by aliens, etc, the evidence is clear how it proliferated from there.

  • For example, if someone commits a crime in Vermont, and the prosecution proposes a model based on the available evidence that describes what happened from one day before the crime to one day afterwards, the defense would be laughed out of court if they said, "the prosecution's model can't account for how or when our client got to Vermont in the first place. In fact, they don't have a shred of evidence that he wasn't here all along."

  • Secondly, as per the law of conservation of mass/energy, matter would have converted from energy in the early expanding universe when there was enough room and the temperature was low enough for that to happen.

  • "I think a God creating everything is much more plausible then evolution that came from no where and the animals that came from nothing that can from the dust that appeared magically from the matter that didn't exist."

Firstly, I'm not sure why you have constructed the false dichotomy of, "a deity did it, or evolution did it." A deity could easily make a universe where such occurrences are part of its natural functions.

  • Secondly, as I said, the formation of life, and especially the formation of the universe and of matter, has noting to do with the evolutionary model. But if you would like to go over some of the anatomical, reflexive, and genetic evidences for evolution and of just how improbable uncommon ancestry (and thus the creation model) is, I would be happy to, shadowcat228.

  • So matter came from energy. But where did the energy come from?

Yes, the God of the Bible would be capable of creating a universe where evolution takes place naturally, but if one truly believes in the God of the Bible, they then believe in the Bible and the Bible says that God created everything in 6 days, not over millions of years through evolution.

You're welcome to go over the improbability, but as you see overwhelming evidence for evolution, so I see overwhelming evidence for God.

  • However, if say, there were a way to absolutely prove that God exists, that improbability wouldn't matter because everything that has taken place would not have been by chance, but by God's will. Regardless of probability, if something has happened, then it simply "is" and there is no probability. If someone wins the lottery, despite chances, in the end, they did win. They didn't have a small chance to win, because ultimately they did win, making, figuratively, the chances of winning 100%.

  • "So matter came from energy. But where did the energy come from?"

Simply put; humans don't yet know. Perhaps we never will. There are a whole lot of ideas floating around (just ask a cosmologist), though. We know from the expansion of the universe that it hasn't always existed in its current state (big bang model), but it's unknown as to whether or not it existed in some other state.

  • In some models (beyond that of the big bang model), there is a before the initial expansion, whereas time begins at the expansion, in others. And whatever the initial expansion entailed (how much creation and how much rearrangement, so to speak), it may have had a cause, or it may not have had a cause.

  • What exactly happened pre-Planck time (t<10^43s) is just one big question mark with a lot of interesting speculation by theoretical physicists. It's really too bad that so many people (especially theists) let their biases influence them to forcibly bend that question mark into an exclamation point.
