People talk about the elctric models being the future...Well if they are it is quite a distance away. Nitro isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Look and see what the 3d master competitions are using and it's 90 size glow machines. Battery cost for a machine that size is astronomical..
A well set up electric with high end batteries has more "pop" for the first 3 minutes. Then there is a big drop off in power. A well set up Trex Nitro is close in power, but it is 100% consistant for 8-9 minutes and feels much more steady and in control in the air. That double flight time with no wait inbetween flights for batteries, motors, esc's to cool is a huge advantage. Nitro for me all the way now.

Electric is so much more desireable. Too messy nitro.
