The thing about this game is people who are not good at it or the people who don't think, are the ones that lose. This game is actually very easy, the main thing to do is look for a pattern. The CPU has a pattern for every character. I.E. Balrog will always rush you and will barely defend. T.Hawk has a pattern too, and if you notice it than they're really easy to beat. Just think and you'll be okay

I've been playing street fighter since i was little till this very day now, I've got super street 2 on my sega mega drive/genesis & on my GBA which i play on my DS & I prefer to play it on there rather then the anniverasery collection cuz the A.I is fair on them 2 compared to this version evan on da easy seetings the CPU will still rape you for joke, one more thing on the collection version it never lets me pull off the dragon punch movent with ryu/ken/akuma/fei/cammy/sagat for some reason.

i really really really really hate T.Hawk whenever i fight him i'm contastly either defening his swooping divin and rising headbutt move or i get my head crushed in by his moves....i'm no good at doing any of ryu or ken's special moves mainly coz i cant execute them i mainly just kick and punch (or in vega's case, stab them) til they KO i can only do E.Honda's 100-hand slap and Chun Li's 100-foot kick....even in training mode with the fighter just standing there i cant do it!!!

I played the 15th Anniversary version on Hard difficulty, which is basically makes no difference considering the A.I. is tough enough even on Normal difficulty. It's still addicting to play, though.

I've noticed that, too. When I used to play it back in the day, I could beat it easily on the normal difficulty. And that was back before I could even do a Shoryuken! Now, I can hardly beat it at normal.

I only bought the Anniversary Collection for 3rd strike. I used to like the older games when I was a kid but since the newer ones came out the older ones bore me. Not only that but they're hard as hell. I can beat 3rd strike on 8 stars but can't seem to beat II on 4. An arcade port thats quarter hungry...lol

I agree jeraiqumo. I really bought the Anniversary Collection for Third Strike as well and play my classic Street Fighter 2 games on my other consoles and ports. Seriously, I only play this game when I'm around my friends or other human players. The CPU is way to nasty in this game.
