  • People; without taxes a Nation can't exist, what we should have is a flat tax from a certain minimum upwards. Although if the tax is too high people will go to tax heavens and live there.

More important is our willingness to defend our freedom against influx of Nazi like cultures, read islam and muslims. If we don't deal with that we will lose everything!! Freedom isn't free!!

  • On top of my previous comment i'd like to add that i'm finished with our little debate because you have offered me nothing in the form of constructive criticism or anything for that matter. You are a bag of blabbering hot air with nonsense views. I think you should leave stuff like this to educated people and just turn up on election day.

You seem to have watched far too much Fox news and have become very deluded to how the world really works.

    On that note.

    I wish you all best

    Goodbye

  • @ChrisEarl102 I do not care for you opinion nor agree with your opinion that taxes,to pay for proper government functions, can only be collected via extortion.and by the way in the beginning there was no income tax only voluntary tariffs.you can quit whenever you like, all I was asking is one question, which you continue to evade. what gives you the right to initiate violence on people via tax or whatever, to enforce you ideas?nothing does, that's the answer.

  • @ChrisEarl102 the constitution? lol. and what gives you the right to write a constitution that extorts taxes via violence?yes yes, i must be stupid bc i dont agree with your opinions.instead of telling me how great you think looting to achieve your good intention is,why dont u try making a logical argument that I can consider.

  • I am John Galt, we are John Galt. Atlas Shrugged, I've Shrugged. People should understand why capitalism works and why socialism doesn't. CAPITALISM ROCKS!

  • ah.....youtube...stupid people always hae to bring out shit to talk about American...couldn't they just shut the fuck up and watch the thing?

  • What is up with Americas fear of socialist schemes ... socialist schemes are employed around europe to help support there citizens for example national health servies , social housing ,subsidised medication, dental care , higher education grants and many more.

So excuse me for having only having to work one job to meet my bills with straight teeth and a university education but i'm a socialist .

  • @ChrisEarl102 I have one job, pay all my bills, have straight teeth, and enjoy many more services with high quality without relying on socialist schemes. So I am a capitalist. My system is also the system that pays for all the socialist schemes. You are so far lucky enough to live in a country that has so far socialized things to a small degree, so you have not yet experienced the full disasters of socialism.

  • @avgleandt Try and explain the disasters of socialism to the all those in America struggling to make ends meet with no safety net. If anything i'd call all the people left behind to starve to death and all the countries exploited for there resources by the western world the disasters of capitalism.

  • @ChrisEarl102 I obviously dont agree with you, I think socialism causes starvation.but you are free to believe whatever you want, you just dont have the right to put me in to jail just bc I dont agree with you and dont want to be part of your collective.I am not obligated to fund your ideas of what you may think is good.

  • @avgleandt Socialism causes starvation... How can you starve if the state is feeding you through the welfare state when you lose your job because the factory your worked for closes because labour is cheaper aboard? Your argument is falling apart because you've retreated to the T Party bubble of making crude nonsensical statements like "you just dont have the right to put me in to jail just bc I dont agree" how is that relevant in a civilised discussion ?

Your a credit to the T Party

  • @ChrisEarl102 Put people in jail, unless they fund your collective is precisely what yo intend to do.So I dont think it is uncivilized to point that out.I do not believe that socialism is in my interest.I want to follow and act on my own judgement not yours. What gives you the right to force me to do otherwise? Why is it that I have to go to jail unless I do what you think is good?I think socialism is bad, and I dont want any part of it,what gives you the right put me in to jail for this?

  • @ChrisEarl102 Socialism bleeds out mans need to strive to succeed. To innovate. To invent and ultimately change the world. The freedom to succeed must mean the freedom to fail. Socialism removes the fear a man feels at having no one but himself and his wits to survive on. Competition sharpens a mans abilities or he winds up at the bottom of the "pile of life".

    Get it?

  • So the Russians never invented cadaveric blood transfusion, the first electrical railway, the first low earth orbit satellite (sputnik) or sent the first man into space or because they didn't strive to succeed no ? People don't need monetary incentive to be inspired. They need the right environment so their ideas can blossom.

  • @ChrisEarl102 THOSE are Soviet "breakthroughs"????? Come on. But you are right. p SOME people do not need monetary incentive to achieve, BUT MOST DO! I'd say about 85 percent

  • @ChrisEarl102 Let's go ahead and discredit the infinite advances made in capitalist society as well; the cotton gin, the telephone, the computer, the internet, the light-bulb, the sewing machine, video games, nuclear fission, the contemporary toilet, toilet paper, the artificial heart, the laser, bubble gum, the lightning rod, the skyscraper, bifocals, the suspension bridge, the escalator, the zipper, the tractor, the airplane, supersonic aircraft, GPS, and bionic contact lenses, to name a few.

  • @dvader001 I think I lost my point in this discussion by going off topic. But we can honestly believe that conservative neo-liberal free market polices can solve everything?

There are certain things in the civilised world that we should all have the right to. Like free health care, cheap medication and free university education. So those who achieve get the same right of social mobility as the rich.

The fact is you invited the "American Dream" but you come 10th in the world implementing it.

  • @ChrisEarl102 Can we honestly believe that the government will solve everyone's problems? All that sound great in theory, but who's going to pay for it? When regulation and taxation become increasingly burdensome on businesses, they pack up, outsource to other countries with less; rendering your nanny state without funding and thousands of dependent people with no means to provide for themselves. We are 10th in the world only because we rank 10th in economic freedom.

  • @ChrisEarl102 You cant have a right to something that someone else has to produce for you.Free healthcare for you means someone else has to pay.If you get stuff and someone else works for it, that is called slavery.I believe free industries produce better services and that free industries are therefore in my interest. What gives you the right to use violence to force you beliefs on me?

  • @avgleandt What violence ?? I've not used any.. I've actually tried to be constructive and understanding in our little debate but you still come at me with these unrelated remarks about police states. Which for your information on your country's current right wing trajectory you'll be enjoying very soon. For the amount of money the US budget is spent on toying with other countries you could of paid for social health care and many social projects. Laying a great foundation for future generations.

  • @ChrisEarl102 To pay for social projects that you find to be good, or go to jail. Now tell me, who gave you the right to put me to jail if I don't want to pay for what you find to be a good social project? I don't think that the social projects you speak of are good, I think they are bad. What gives you the right to put me in jail unless I follow your judgment?

  • @avgleandt Well tax evasion is illegal. So if you don't pay your taxes because you disagree with the policy makers thats on you not me. I really think you don't know the first thing about Democratic Socialism and i think your confusing with it Communism. I just think its a shame that your soo short sighted that you can't concede to the notion that nationalising some front line services would be such a bad thing. I'm all for a free market but theres a limit to the good they can do.

  • @ChrisEarl102 Again, I am not asking about your opinion on nationalizing,I obviously dont agree that it can do any good.To nationalize anything you need to use violence such as threatening people with jail, physically coercing them to do what you want. What I am asking you, is from where did you get this right to force people to do what you think is good.I dont think nationalization is good for me or anyone.why is that you get to enforce your judgement with jail time?

  • @avgleandt When my country put in place the national health services and the welfare state who got threatened or jail time. . . NO-ONE DID ! We allowed for a public option so the consumer could choose between private and national health care. I don't believe in taking political prisoners like most civilised people. You need to go find some fact and then base your opinions on them because all your comments just stem from fabrication.

Your a waste of time... This my last comment on the matter.

  • @ChrisEarl102 what country are you from? who pays for the public option, do they go to jail if they don't pay?

  • @avgleandt I'm from England. We all pay for the NHS via income tax, VAT (value added tax) and national insurance which about £6-12 each month from your pay cheque. What might surprise you is that public opinion in England fully backs our NHS because 90% of the population uses it.

So of course your going to be reprimanded if you don't pay your taxes exactly like if your caught for tax avoidance in the USA. So your argument there is invalid.

  • @ChrisEarl102 Invalid? You just said your self that you would go to jail if you dont pay the tax. That is how things are nationalized, with taxes.I dont want to use, pay or have anything to do with it NHS,what gives you, or anyone the right to force me, via a tax or any other mechanism?

  • @avgleandt You really can't expect not to pay taxes in the modern world. Was it not Ben Franklin one of your founding fathers that said "In this world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes". Thats why your argument is invalid because your currently going to be paying for many things you don't agree with. Does this mean your boycotting taxes because you don't agree how you moneys spent ? I don't think so...

Like i said before i'm use facts to form arguments and opinions .

  • @ChrisEarl102 Yes collecting taxes via extortion is not right.Just bc everyone is doing it to some degree currently, doesn't make it right. At some point of time everyone had outright slavery.would you also have said back then,oh currently everyone has slaves,so your argument against slavery is not valid.offcourse not.you have no right to inslave.so what gives you or anyone the right now to extort money via taxation?

  • I am John Galt. I have taken them away, the men you hated and yet dreded to lose. Do not attempt to find for we do not choose to be found, We're on strike, We the men of the mind. Anarcho-Capitalism forever!

  • John Galt was born in my home town, i stay next to a school named after him

  • I've been saying "I am John Galt" for years.

  • You should replace John Galt with Ron Paul at the end.

  • how can the state solve problems the samrtest people on earth can't solve? I mean when we have war okay i call the army and the state but for most problems the state is not the solution because it is (and will always be) an bureaucratic monster that creates more problems than it solves... trust me i'm from germany we have socialized health care, we have a liberal justice system and we have a goverment that think it knows how to run the economy and the only thing we got is debts and criminals

  • The fuck is this shit.

  • Goebbels would appreciate this.

  • Omg awesome picture of Al Gore. I have pictures like that of Cheney and Bush. This is John Galt LOL

    YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE

  • 0:35 was that from tremors lol?

  • I was impressed overall with the time and effort you must have spent on this video. You got a pretty good flow going to keep a person interested. At one point, I would have liked to have heard better what was being said, as it was drowned out by some of the music.

The part that turned me off was adding the "Who is John Galt?" at the end.

Ayn Rand's "John Galt" is a fictional ideal and nothing more. Even she, his author, lamented not living his ideal, I pose, because it is impossible...

  • @yablabo Thank you.John Galt is the ideal man,I agree. He didnt do anything that is impossbile to a human, its just improbable that anyone can achieve to live like him, even Ayn her self.In John Galt she wanted to define a perfect ideal man.The question "who is John Galt" is not a commendment that you must live like him.Its a phrase that encourages for people to find out, what is the ideal? and how they can try to achieve it to their best capabilities.

  • @avgleandt You're welcome. However, I think you misunderstood what I wrote regarding John Galt. In saying that he is a fictional ideal, I mean he is a figment of the imagination. He is not a real man, nor can there ever be a real man like him. The fictional/false ideal that he represents does not exist and is not a true ideal to which men should aspire. When Ayn Rand tried to define this false ideal, she looked no further than her imagination...not to what is real or true.

  • @avgleandt Beyond that, I agree, man should aspire to the true ideal, Jesus Christ.

  • @yablabo Whether the character is fictional is irrelevant, the only thing that is imporant is whether he describes the ideal that people should aspire too. It seems that your disagreement is that John Galt is not the ideal, rather Jesus is.okay, that is an honest disagreement and we can discuss which of the values that these men epetimize should be regarded as the ideal if you like.

  • a bit amateur vid but still good. what's that tune?

libertarian conservative greets from poland ;)

  • "You are the Resistance"

    you are retarded...

  • Neat!

    Keep it up!

  • Why not gain friends by actually getting to know the people you are inviting to become friends with? Someone who must resort to "friendbots" to build their channel immediately become suspect to anyone with integrity. Because of this I will NOT add you as a friend even if I agree with your message.

  • @NEGATIONofP i think on facebook that might be true, you are friends only with people you know personally. I don't think that is the edicate on youtube, but i may be wrong. Friendship on youtube is a way to share videos. youtube shows me what kind of videos my friends are watching, and may show them what videos i am watching.

  • @avgleandt NO! Subscribing is a way to share videos, friend indicates you agree and support that channels message . No-one would misconstrue "getting know someone" in this context as me asking you to personally meet with all your friends. The use of friendbots is lazy, dishonest, and annoying. Please look at and ask the most of the respected channels how they got their subs & friends. They will tell you its due to the quality of their message and /or postings. Quit being lazy and just DO the WORK!

  • @avgleandt nice video though I'd say this is Fascist not socialist. even the foodstamps program is now just another division of JP Morgan. This is Fascism taking root anywhere it isn't weeded out. Anyhow I did add you as a youtube friend

  • i like how you incorporated the sarah connor chronicles into the video, well done! i read atlas shrugged 15 years ago.

  • Go fuck yourself and use fear on some other weak minded individual.

  • @ArjunaMysterytramp this is not suppose to elicit fear, and doesn't in most.

  • Comment removed

  • Forgive my previous rudeness. However, when the first two images of person's in your video are of Stalin and Hitler, you're automatically calling for a sort of emotional response. These two icons of death and destruction hold no purpose other than to instill fear through the veil of supposed awareness. Your entire video goes on like this, with claims to fear socialism at 1:56 you have Christian Bale screaming "WE ARE ALL DEAD!" How, how is that not a call to fear?

  • @ArjunaMysterytramp The hitler and stalin and berlin wall coming down images are voiced over with, we have been fighting a long time for the right to live and it shows statue of liberty. to me that was a happy moment of triumph. John screaming is the aciton climax, what you want me to do, make a boring video? i can see how terrorism images can elicit fear, but the context and theme of this whole thing, i do not think is scary.

  • @ArjunaMysterytramp when the first images of Stalin & Hitler resonate with the fact we are repeating this cycle in history, and will repeat it EVERY duration equal to one human life-span, NOW IS THE TIME. 80 years from now we'll be doing it AGAIN. It's all linked to the duration of life: when the people alive the first time around all die of old age the younger generation will forget why it all went wrong before & repeat those mistakes.

  • @ArjunaMysterytramp - If you're scared it's because you're weak.

You're a loser who can't stand up and cow like a fucking house pet.

  • @thomaserossi You really don't get it do you? Okay, so what does this evoke in you? And what would be the appropriate response to believe in something like this be, if not to elicit the fear of a future where these things come true? Look the whole point of my response is precisely because I DON'T fear the nonsense videos like this try to produce. Why don't you realize that you're the little sheep being herded by the dog. Why don't you go hit play again and answer to your masters barking call.

  • @ArjunaMysterytramp Your value judgements are different from mine, or thomaserossi, and thats why this video evokes different emotions in you then in us orother people.there is no sense of anyone for complaining about this.this video obviously connects in a postive way to people who share my value judgements.I am sure that this video will evoke fear in some, but that is niether good or bad bc emotons are automatic.that person will have to discover what is making him afriad.

  • The Tea Party is lost -- it was from the beginning, and it continues to bother me that more libertarians and Objectivists didn't understand this from the beginning. The Tea Party from the start was made up of people who do not approach their politics from a rational moral foundation, but from a conservative one - from either a religious sense, or from a vague sense of something being wrong and looking for someone to blame.

That said, good video. Not an objectivist, but get along with them.

  • perfect my thoughts exactly

  • John Gault (Ayan Rand) is good, but I think Lysander Spooner's 'No Treason' would serve the "Tea Party"ers much better. Any "Tea Party"er that rejected the principals spelled out very well by Spooner would be exposed as the commu-fascist they truly are. Many in the "TP" don't realize that they are in fact little dictators at heart. They would avoid true freedom.

  • @mydogR3X As a Tea Party member, I must take the time to say, fuck you.

  • @Halo4Lyf don't be pretending to be anything other then just rude.

  • Amazing video.

  • cool edits and vid..

  • Can't believe I haven't seen this before .....very nice work my friend!

  • So true. Thought is the origin of all action and achievement. It's time to take a step back, observe the world at large and the direction it is heading, and think: Do I like what's happening? And what can I do to change it?

  • So what, do we vote John Connor into office?

  • @unnamednewbie13 We create a new constitution and rebuild the economy using local money we fight we stop japans expirementations we rename ourself a new name and forget the disgraceful name of america

  • A true Shotgun blast to the senses nice video man

  • Very powerful and well edited.

  • A breath of fresh air.

I wonder though, since Bale's speech is merely audio, would it be possible to make your own speech instead? That way you could tailor it perfectly to your meaning, instead of having to rely on cutting parts of a speech that has different context.

  • I love this!

  • Brilliant!
