Fascinating. Is this popcorn.js technology analogous to SMIL, I mean can users switch on and off the various synch'd components/tracks as they can in a SMIL player? If so, in the new Hyperaudio player you are developing for RadioLab, could there also be a track for a potential textual description of the visuals that could be voiced by a browser, but pausing the rest of the show while it reads it?
