Right you are, jonclair. QE 2 was a great ship that was retired way too early. I was on this crossing, and I think it was my favorite of all because of the rough weather. I can still hear Captain Ian McNaught saying, at the end of the noon announcement one day, "Enjoy your afternoon on QE 2, crossing the Atlantic, doing what she was built for!" Great ship, wonderful Captain. I miss her.

i remeber swimming in a pool in florida by the beach when a hurricane was 3 hours away and the pool had 10 ft waves
