  • wow...look's like you really know what you're doing....

  • Full Sail University?

  • Yessum. This model was for a class around month 6 into the program.

Now I'm getting ready to graduate, have about six weeks left.

  • CDC

  • Haha yup. Do you attend?

  • Yea in my 7 month

  • lol, I am watching this video whilst in CDC currently. Thank you for the help. Somehow during this whole month I forgot to model my foot, so I am doing it now and you helped me out immensely. I love Full Sail.

  • Haha Full Sail was rather spiffy.

Fun tidbit about this character, after I attached the feet to the model and got a clean mesh on it all I realized I put the feet on the wrong legs.

That's why modeling at 4 AM is bad. haha

  • @llamajuice Speaking of modeling at 4 am.... haha, that is what I am currently doing. It's so funny to meet another Full Sailer that you don't know. We all are always up at 4 am. We all are the same. We are beasts.

  • Haha it's true. I'm an ex fullsailer though, graduated in February. :P

Best of luck to you on your journey through the program, it's one hell of a wild ride. Are you CA or GA?

  • I am Computer Animation. I love it so much. I feel like I am getting over a big hump. I'm officially a sophmore. I got through model creation and now I am onto 2d animation with a side of physics and after that... fundamentals of animation and compositing. I can't wait.

  • @llamajuice Out of curiosity, was Full Sail worth it in your opinion? Are you working for anyone doing any thing that you learned at Full Sail? Im looking to go into the school here pretty soon so Im trying to find out as much as I can :p

  • @VictorGii Full Sail was an incredible experience. I right now am unemployed, but that's my own fault, not Full Sail's. (I've been lazy)

If you're very serious about wanting to go into game art or computer animation, I'd look into Full Sail, but if you're uncertain I'd take some classes at a community college or something first to make sure you know what you're getting into. (The drop out rate was just insane in the early months, and that's a LOT of cash to just throw away.)

  • thats awsm

  • please teach me how to make a human female

  • Great video, Ive just started using Maya 2008 at college. I am a beginner but hopefully I will be able to do something like this soon! Well done.

  • I made this after using maya for about seven months... so in just a short amount of time you can go from box primitive to human. I know this video didn't show much, but my point is.. is that if you put some time into it you can really learn a lot in a little amount of time. (Plus, that was my first attempt at a foot model ever... so... yea.)

  • How's your Maya adventure coming along? :P

  • haha not bad at all, we started with simple things and made fruit, then arranged it in a fruit bowl, then most recently we made a full room (I did a kitchen) and had to include a spiral staircase, I'm not great but I'm getting there :)

  • Haha nice. Glad to hear it brother, best of luck with it all :P

What are you going for? Modeling? Animating? Texturing? :P

  • Now 8 months later how much more awesome are ye? :P It's funny to look back at old work and see your growth.

  • @llamajuice I quit that course and started A-Levels! Thats progress for ya! ;) I did model a whole room though...

  • your good.i really wanna learn to animate like this

  • Haha, thanks... but.. I didn't animate anything.

  • well,still,modeling takes skillz

  • weird. Feet are f-ed up.

  • cool dude!
