@fssramps only thing good about the go is that u dont have to carry around your UMD's, but if you get little cases thats not a problem, i have the 3000 and its awesome, the screen has really clear crisp colors, especially compared to the 1000. the psp go in my opinion would feel really awkward playing with the buttons under the screen. the 3000 also has a bigger screen (obviously). in my opinion if the go was successful they wouldnt have gone back to the original psp design

@narutovichigo I asked myself that same question too. I still havent seen any type of information or full-on review that tells me why should i get it. I have a psp 2000 series and my screen is slowly going out. Also the UMD's are starting to be a pain because i share games with other family members. Stuff gets misplaced, games get scattered and broken, and i get tired of buying the same game for it to just get broken again. So i have been thinking either getting the GO or the VITA.

The GO doesn't look to bad, being since many of the games new and old are being uploaded to PSN no. Which has expanded its gaming library. Plus, if PSN is too expensive you can always find other sites like Amazon, Gamestop, and etc. that sells pretty much the same game but at a lower price.

@ELRaGEDaT Excluding the college downtime though, i wouldn't need more then 3-5 hours though. Until, the true figures for battery life come out, i won't be looking very heavily at it. I'm hoping Sony isn't far off though on thier estimates.

@ELRaGEDaT As I said, im a college student who gets stuck there for hours between classes. Sony's estimates were at 3-5 hours which means they are likely much lower then that in reality. Plus, i prefer to have my games at full brightness when i'm playing them along with using the wifi means it won't last even an hour in all likelyhood. To say someone's a nerd for that is childish and irrevelate statement to the reasoning behind battery life issues of the PS Vita.

I don't see why i would want to be stuck with a small system plugged into the wall when i could just play my Xbox 360 or Rig with 1080p resolutions and 7.1 surround sound speakers. It wouldn't make sense.

@ELRaGEDaT 3-5 hours is very bad considering 5 hours is with brightness completed down and no Wi-fi along with these bieng estimate by sony which means 15% less battery life is likely. I have college and need something to do in between classes, the vita isn't worth 250.00 for that little battery life when they will just release another model by the end of next year with better battery life. What i mean by not bieng pocket friendly is its bigger then the original PSP.

XD).It needs an adaptor for many things like tv output or a camera(there are more I cant seem to remember).the graphics are better then the 3k ,it has pause the game and go do something else feature(yea thats not the features name heh),bloothos so you can play with friends,its lighter and more but 3k has a larger screen and an umd. so you decide whats better a fat 3k or the handicapped go.

You should get psp go because if you get the 3000 you will have to buy a memory card aswell. Psp go has 16 gb built-in flash memory and it is cheaper. It is more protable and you don't have the fuss about carrying around umd's. Psp go is better in my opinion. Its graphics are crisper than 3000 because of the smaller screen. The screen isn't that small. Its 3.8" which is enough for portable games.
