I have to agree Ozzy IS overhyped, but he is still a great vocalist. And I really like his Guitarists. Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee and Zakk Wylde are all big guitarists in my life. I also agree Dio is a far better songwriter and vocalist, but he has only had two Guitarists that I really like, Vivian Campbell and Doug Aldrich.
I actually like the name distinction. Personally, I'll buy any album Iommi plays on, regardless of the name. I truly enjoyed both Ozzy-era Sabbath and Dio-era pretty evenly.
That said, by differentiating the name, no one showing up to a 'Heaven and Hell' show is shouting 'PLAY IRON MAN!!' (or 'Freebird' for that matter)

I don't care about the cover ,& religion. How good is Dio's voice he sounds wonderfull, his older enough to be be dad ! At his age you would have expected retirement from music, but his still really good. Tony still into hard rock too , he sounds very strong , unlike my other favourite band Deep Purple who have gone soft these day's

I dont get what the upset is. You remember the cover of Holy Diver? with the demon drowning a priest? The cover of The Last in Line, with a demon opening the gates of hell? Maybe the cover of Dio's "Diamonds: Best of" with the demon mascot and the huge inverted pentagram? Black Sabbath's "Headless Cross" album with the broken crucifix on it? The cover expresses what Dio feels is true. Misunderstand that, and you can't understand most of his songs. I think Dio is wrong in that there is more to the riddle that he doesn't see. But Dio knows that also, and the art an honest expression of what he knows and fears currently.
Some people say Dio's voice isn't as good as it used to be, and I would agree. HOWEVER, he still sounds great, and it's flat out amazing that he can sing as well as he can considering he'll be 67 years old this summer. As arguably the greatest metal vocalist of all time, his voice still tramples over others in their prime, despite the fact that he's eligible for full Social Security benefits. How many other vocalists can sound as good as he does when they're 60+? Dio is an icon and a legend.

well his voice is deeper but if you look his last albums since 2000 is the same sound. Depends if you look albums from 60 or 70 that hes voice is not as deep as now... but dude hes 67 years old and he's mantained his young sound until 60.... Anyway he is singing in the same he always has sang since DIO

yo igual, encontre q sacaron 3 canciones en el 2006 ya no me acuerdo de los titulos pero esas 3 canciones estan weeeenas, parece q Iomy ya volvio a los riffs recontra fuertes y dio q tiene una voz fenomenal ^^. Ptmre salieron las fechas para sudamerica y no tomaron en consideracion mi pais!!!! T-T

Riffs are awesome, lyrics are satisfyingly dark, drums are great. I love this song, and I expect the rest of the album to be as good.
