Can you install an operating system to a server remotely by using an .iso image which is placed somewhere in the remote network? We can reach the server remotely even if the server doesn't have any operating system on it. That's great. But can we install to the server an operating system with using an .iso image?
Can you use DRAC to install a operating system onto the server(if no OS is installed ?). I'm thinking of getting a dell blade that has no OS on it and was wondering about this(Chassis with 10 blades with kvm and DRAC)
Great. We have worked with HP for some years but they are not good here in Brazil (poor support - we have a new server that came with problems and has bot been replaced yet - 2 months expired). We are going to work with Dell from now on and it was really interesting to know DRAC before getting servers.
@akalbfell Have you looked at iDRAC6 version 1.5x lately?? You might change your mind.... especially after the utter failure of iLO3. THEY EVEN DROPPED FEATURES!!!!
"Administrate" is not a word. The word is "administer". Grr. :)

@magawla DRAC is NOT a software, is an hardware component that don't depend of the OS, it have it's own system

This was a good overview. I do now think of purchasing a Dell Server, since this can compete with HPs iLo.
