Hilarious! Seeing all those treats (except the dill pickle) made me hungry! But what's the deal with that cup of Orange Crush at 4:12 being poured out as soon as it was served up? Very strange...
God these are great. I could watch these all day. This is the reason I love going to drive ins. It nearly brings tears to my eyes because a fantastic era of entertainment continues to slowly die out.
Those two boys arguing remind me of me and my older brother, but the only difference between them and us was that I was on the living room carpet and his knees were on my chest.
We have one 6 screen Drive-in left in town and they may tear it down this year to build a 24 screen indoor multi-plex ( even though we have 100's of screens in town). I saw STAR WARS at that drive-in with my dad back in 77. I loved the drive-in : )
i remember seeing the original trailer for the first star wars movie at the drive in! the south twin drive in. had a screen a both ends, and the snack bar and playground in the middle. I miss that time. we used to see movies at wehrenberg drive ins, and when the wehrenberg theme started playing, we kids ran to the car to see the movie. the wehrenberg them can be found here on youtube. look for wehrenberg 2 theme. great times!
yeah. well, they HAD drive ins. I don't know if any drive-ins are around anymore run by them. the drive-ins I went to run by them were ronnie's and south twin. they don't exist anymore, unfortunately.

Well, there's still a Ronnie's Plaza Cinema or somesuch, if I'm not mistaken...

yeah, built where old ronnie's drive in was. there's also a shopping area there, ronnie's plaza. it's just not the same though. darn shame.

@SteevDragon67
A lot of drive-ins still exist in places like Florida and Upstate New York.

@WalleyTV , So far with the bad real estate market the 6 screen Drive-in is still open as of 2-10-2011

I think I am a little too young to remember these trailers, but its great to see them. If only they would bring back the old drive-ins!
