  • Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was very nice.

    Respect from Apache Junction, Arizona

  • Just came back from florida, we visited there, take the full tour?

Great day out, also go to the astronaut's hall of fame

  • i am going here in feb for july 2011 i hope there is some flights then

  • great video, I would love to go there sometime))) let's just hope this economy doesn't effect the space program to much ))))

  • Fantastic place.A must visit for anyone visiting central Florida. The Astronaut Hall of Fame is included in the Visitor Center admission price.Without question, the best value for the dollar anywhere around Orlando. For those who have never seen a live shuttle launch,it is a experience you won't forget.Think of one big backyard BBQ with 15,000 friends, and the greatest fireworks show on earth.

  • the shuttle that you can go inside, with the big yellow thing is actually a replica isn't it. Went Aug 08, i didn't think it'd be that good but it was a fantastic day out, the simulator though, funnily enough isn't as good as Epcot's.

Epcot's your more involved, but nevertheless, a fantastic place.

  • :D been here like 4 times:D

  • Nice shots I have put together a Cape Canaveral video myself it's on my homepage

  • Thanx for the bringin bak the memoreys i was there feb 2008 and saw atlantis get launched it was mint!

  • I Went There Last June..

    It Was Really Good :)

  • i went there today

  • Do you think this is worth going to when im on my holiday there with my family ?

  • I think it's a great place for families. There were a lot of kids there when I visited and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

  • cool thanks

  • At 2:12 - I thought the Stars were always supposed to be on the left when displaying the flag.

  • Generally, I think what you say is correct. But, I think in the case of the flag on the body of the shuttle, I think it is imaged that way to simulate the position of the flag if the shuttle was in forward motion and "wind" was blowing the flag back. You know, when you hold up a flag (on a pole) into the wind, it will blow "back" toward you, and look just like the flag on the shuttle. At least, that's my guess.

  • That's kind of what I was thinking also. I was there like 27 years ago and still retain a vivid image of that big rocket at 2:02 and the Tank Tracks of that slow moving monster that hauls the rockets to the launch pad. The rest all looks really new though.

  • @chrisazimmer in space no wind you think NASA would know that. LOL

  • I was looking at his vid (we're going this weekend). Stumbled across your observation. The Stars are to be displayed to the viewers' left. I went to the Space Center in the late eighties. I believe this shuttle display used to be upright simulating pre-launch configuration in which case the Stars would be to the viewers left. The Saturn rocket used to be displayed out in the elements unprotected too. Glad they housed it. Peace.

  • i wnet there twice the shuttle experience was cool

  • OMG! I went there a couple montha ago witth fifth grade, and we spent the night!

  • Not bad. Reminded me of my time at NASA in Houston.
