Good job with this video - this is so necessary in order to send the message to those who refuse to believe. This is not about punishing the german people it's about reminding us of the dangers of indifference and that it only takes a few to create horrendous atrocities.
Mauthausen was a really bad camp. Even the inmates at Auschwitz feared being sent to Mauthausen which suggests that they thought it was worse than Auschwitz. That's pretty bad!
ItIsAccomplished - everything you just wrote is complete bullshit, there are millions of profes that auchwitz was terribly real and you are brainwashed more then any jew on the planet
Don't bother trying to teach him. All of these holocaust deniers remind me of a schizophrenic friend I had who thought a secret organization was after her, trying to kill her, bugging her apartment, etc. Whenever any of us tried to confront her and explain to her that no one was out to get her, she would decide we were "one of them". Holocaust deniers do the same thing to any eye-witnesses of the holocaust and anyone who tries to reason with them. Fools.
burnmetodeath---good point...the people who believe that this DIDN"T happen are the same ones that believe the world is flat...they are just plain DUMB. and a few other words I can't use, because I'm a christian lady....the world must NEVER< EVER FORGET....
Only 23% of the Auschwitz population was jewish and there is ZERO proof even one camper was ever killed but a good many did die from malnutrition and typhus caused by the Allies bombing of Germans wharehouses and railways. USA Major Charles Larson led the medical teams that performed scores of autopsies on those campers and they never unearthed even one person who had been murdered. Jew rabbis brainwash their own youths often as well to distract them from their unfortunate inherited appearances.
If your government is sanctioning murder it would make everyone feel like thats what had to be done. Thats why everyone in germany probably accepted the extermination.
A lesson to be heeded by those of us here in the U.S. Loving your country and loving your government are two very different and often-times opposite things.
To call Mauthausen a "work camp" is ignorant. I personally know survivors from this camp and have read all the documentation. It was a death camp where people were worked to death, murdered, shot, thrown into a quarry to their death, gassed, burned alive in ovens and starved. Is this not death?
Mauthausen is in Austria idiot!!!! And go learn your history guys, German camps like Belsen, Dachau, Ravensbruk etc were all involved in mass murder from 1942 onwards, all used shooting, starvation, and gassing - the Germans citizens knew what was going on, most were quite happy that the jewish question was being addressed - sick fucks - due to the happenings between WW1 and WW2
I find it amazing that a systematic, government-regulated form of murder actually existed, but it did. I don't believe that the average German citizen who lived near a concentration camp didn't know anything was going on either, as he says. They knew...Like he says, they could smell what was going on from their town..
actually there is a differentiation in the camp system. "extermination camps" were only in Poland (e.g. Auschwitz, Treblinka, Belsac, Maidanek...) and then there were "work camps" (like Mauthausen (the guy is referring to), Bergen-Belsen, Dachau....)
Call it what you will....it was a place where people went to be used up and killed. By the way people "didn't know" the camps exsisted because they didn't WANT to know...and they had help from powerful propaganda. People ignore the obvious all the time and believe what they want...
All Nazis are savages! Vicious bloody butchers. How could a civilized group of people turn into killers?

There were plenty of death camps in Germany -- my father liberated one.
