  • awsome enjoyed every minute thank you it was great.

  • Hehe, thick vinyl! Nice man!

  • @CRXspeedshift how can you say vinyl sounds awesome? Once this file was put to a computer, it was converted to digital format..................

  • @tylerdavisss Being in a digital format does not inherently change the audio quality. In this particular instance, it is not the case, but theoretically, an analog recording can be rerecorded into a lossless digital medium without any compression or other mastering processes, and retain it's "analog" qualities. The main difference between the analog and digital mediums to begin with is that the recordings are often subjected to different mastering processes.

  • @JRKDeSimone Certainly an analog recording can be rerecorded into an digital medium without any compression etc. because digital has way more dynamic range. The main difference between analog and digital medium, however, is that digital recording is more accurate and sounds harsh and tinny. Analog adds a nice soft distortion effect. Many studios now have taken to recording in digital, rerecording in 1" reel to reel, then back to digital for mastering.
