@feat010 El rugby no es solo contacto en si es un deporte donde se destaca las habilidades para correr y poder pasar el balon bien, es un juego muy bien organizado, los tackles ocurren cuando el equipo se desorganiza y hay una mala coordinación.
Ahora no es necesario ser grandote para practicar el rugby, solo se necesita saber pensar rapido y en equipo, algo que para ti parece imposible.

Im american, and I play football and rugby, and I personally like rugby more. But, the culture of football is unbeatable in the US. I know it's completely different in other places... In football, the whole town comes to watch the game.. In rugby only a few people come to games unless it's playoffs. However, rugby is much more intense than football because its always like a battle. (Rugby hits are much more intense too :P ).. However, both sports are great and people need to quit hating.

@SammyKTA This is true, as with football In the states here.. I love the game of rugby probably more than football, BUT, the culture at the youth level is what I meant. In highschool, football is the event of the entire town.. That's what i meant by it but I completely agree with you!

Im american, and I play football and rugby, and I personally like rugby more. But, the culture of football is unbeatable in the US. I know it's completely different in other places... In football, the whole town comes to watch the game.. In rugby only a few people come to games unless it's playoffs. However, rugby is much more intense than football because its always like a battle. (Rugby hits are much more intense too :P ).. However, both sports are great and people need to quit hating.

@spursfan112 actually, if you play for England, New Zealand or Australia you get paid quite a good amount, but the amount American Footballers get paid is rediculous

I'm tired of those compilations promising rugby (hence union), and showing a mixed bag of union and league ; how do you want the yanks to understand, for instance, that shoulder charges are forbidden in one sport and not the in the other, not even talking about all the cheap shots displayed endlessly like clotheslines, elbowing, charges on players in the air, etc...
The guys who don't know rugby (I mean the two ones) can only be left confused on all this.

this are not rugby tackles, rugby tackle is stoping oponent player by catching with hands his body, BODY,in this case this dudes are just punching an oponent on their faces, actualy its a easyest way to stop runing man, everyone can do that, but its also most fearful way. more examples ? catching player on his hear, on his neck,forced face steping
