For your ak 47: put the ak on it's side (side without selector switch) and put the selector switch to full, semi, or safe depending on whatever the gun is firing on. When that's done pull the little cap off the selector swith and tighten the screw! Then you get to be trigger happy again!

@airsoftsoldr It means that there are holes cut into the slide that allow airflow to the barrel, for realism (In real life it helps it cool off when it gets really hot)

Ok I'll give you your credit on echo 1. (at least it's from the US NOT china) but I have to be honest about the and rails, to me and my entire group that I play with, rails take away the feeling of using an ak and makes it feel fake.

@AirsoftMania199 the rails make it easily able to install other things like scopes, foregrips, grenade launchers. It is very realistic to have rails because real guns have rails. Most modern weapons have rails

Rails on a AK = EPIC fail, makes them totally not legit, and Echo 1 sucks if you want a good AK try looking at VFC

Not true at all. Echo 1 usa makes fantastic guns, which contain strong aftermarket parts without a hike in price and they still maintain affordability. Also, no the rails do not fail, it would be as if you were putting an ris on any other gun, and by what appears to be your 'reasoning' that would make them illegitimate as well, which is obviously not the case. Echo 1 brand products are perfectly fine, no need to look at an overpriced alternative.

One gun isn't AK47 Ris, it's AK74 Ris.

no it's not. Ak47 reciever, magazine, and barrelf. Not onlt is it a tactical take on the ak47, but it is also under the ak47 name by echo 1 and advertised on airsoftgi as the ak47.

How did you modify the UTG shotgun to have a picitany rail on the upper receiver?

We disassembled it to the point where you could remove the plastic cover (receiver) and then precisely marked and drilled holes to allow room for screws/nuts, then attached it on top. pretty secure, too.
