@BRITAINSSAVIOR And, it breaks the tension caused by this seemingly negative move by society in that, "if you didn't laugh, you'd cry" sort of way. Overall, however, it's quite pro-British with especial allegiance to ideals of the past. Then again, they definitely include a lot of arguments in favor of liberal parties in the majority of their comedy work, but that's for another time. I personally admire their willingness to promote a sort of equal opportunity for all in their sketches.

@BRITAINSSAVIOR It's possible you've misunderstood the message they are conveying along with the comedy. The point they are making is about the entitlement of modern youth, which has led to a culture that once seemed to breath honor and self-sacrifice into one of relative selfishness and apathy. By placing characters who act with entitlement in the past, it throws the differences between the two eras into sharp relief.
