Really great performance and an excellent sounding FENDER. Of course, behind the guitar ia a REAL STRINGMASTER! Hey Basil, what tunings you 're using concret? I saw different variations from E13th & B11. Since a few days I own a white blonde 1955 FENDER TRIPLE NECK STRINGMASTER with 3 push buttons. I'm a beginner and my question is what tunings should I use and what string gauges. The guitar has 29frets(24,5"?). I' m sure you can help me a little bit. Thanks for this great clip. Good luck!
"Mayaadobe" Thanks for asking, The main melody is played in the E13th tuning with the middle section played in the B11th, Peavey Nash-vile 112 and a "Tribotone "BH" Bar
Funny I had that notion the other day! To my eternal discredit, the ShoBud hsn't been out for almost a year! I couldn't really play it then and I certainly won't be able to do it now but I'd love to practise and have a wee video on here! Thanks again! Watch this space! (Even if it is only "Mansion on the Hill"! ha ha!)
Hi Mr. Henriques. Can you do me a favour please - can you drop me an e-mail and let me know when you're next at Shepwell? Many thanks. PS - like this version of San Antonio Rose - Hawaiin style eh! :-)
very well done basil

I'm playin' San Antonio Rose at my next show, and it'll be a version on pedal steel guitar. It sounds great on that Fender Stringmaster too.
