People need to get over the fact it shares its title with that GNR song. Do you know how many songs share titles? A lot. Plenty with legendary songs. Get over it already and take it for what it is. Both are great. Get over it!

I thought "When Seconds Count" was pretty damn good. I like the new CD and I loved "Vital Signs." I agree that "Too Hot Too Sleep" was kind of lame aside from "Didn't Know It Was Love" and maybe a couple others.
Didnt know it was love was the worst song on that listen to it and re think what you are saying, The reason that album was not successful is because of Didnt know it was love! They should have started with Across the miles and went to DKIWS next!!! I appreciate any opinions on this<
Actually I haven't listened to TOO HOT TO SLEEP for quite a while. Wasn't SHE'S A STAR on that album? I think back in the day, we hated it so much we didn't put it on the cassette when we taped the album off of it. Actually, it was my first CD the more I think about it. I'm a huge DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS LOVE fan so you'll never turn me from that. That being said, I haven't heard the album in ages.
Have you heard the new one by Jamo it might be the best thing since Vital Signs. It's called Crossroads Moments, Please listen to that if you are a true fan!!

Nice, For me it was hearing them on rocky when I was very young, you dont think of them as a band just a great song, but when I got older my music taste didnt grow and now 26 I only really love ths type of music and Survivor will always be the band I think of first if someone says to me define music. Jimi's voice got me through a lot and I wish I could transport myself back at this age to see them live. Thats the first thing I would do with a time machince. haha
As a teenager of the 80's what i thought love was, was shape by Jimi's voice Ok ill admit i had a crush on him. I'm WAY older now but i can close my eyes and just feel when i listen to his voice, he has a passion to his voice that i haven't heard is so long. I hope one day to be able to tell him and the other members of the band just how much then and even now how their music gave my hearts the wings to fly. As I listen i wish my heart had the innocence it had back so many years ago.
