The way I see it, whether he's perfect or not. whatever he's faults. He decided to take his countries wealth back from the oil/energy/resource companies, and in turn the industrial military complex we all know of that guises as the American government.

Unfortunately for this argument there is too much misinformation. The UN and other groups were down there during the democratic elections and made sure that there was no cheating. Chavez is not a communist, he is a socialist. The difference between the two is this; communists kill the rich for being rich. There have been no human rights problems in Venezuela and they still have freedom of speech there.
