Wow. I think they used to run this on Nickelodeon when I was about 6. (25 years ago). I used to love watching it. I remember thinking they didn't play it enough and tht it was always so short. Now I know why, that wasn't even 8 minutes. Great to be able to see old memories again though.

Really? I didnt have to get up to go to school before 7:30, so I could be there at 8, but I begged my mother to wake me at 6 in the morning, so I could see the two stories of this show, that aired first thing in the morning on a 'wake up denmark' type show back in the 80s called 'morning flicker' as in flicker on television when all you see is snow.

I would also beg her to wake me up at 6 a few years later, after superted had run it's course, to watch Filmations Shazam on The Childrens Channel.

Lars Thiesgaard did the danish version of spotty and Esper Hagen did Superted. I'll see if I can put up an episode of the danish version at some time.

Gosh... this is some of the best animation ever made. Just so beautifully drawn and so solidly animated... Disney can go home, for all I care.

When they re-do the show, they need to use Jon Culshaw for Spotty =)
