Certain death? Turns out that the Poop Deck was probably one of the best places to be during the storm. It was one of the first businesses to reopen after Ike passed through.
Poop deck is still intact, and was one of the first businesses to reopen after the storm. Sensationalists who make predictions of "certain death" have cried wolf so many times that no one listens anymore.
