I must be a very lucky guy because motor didn't give me any problem, i upgraded later to brushless because i wanted more power, but stock motor was still working.
I must be a very lucky guy because motor didn't give me any problem, i upgraded later to brushless because i wanted more power, but stock motor was still working.
how bad is this motor problem? cuz i'm getting my hbk2 in a couple days and i didn't know about the bad stock motor till after i bought it, and i don't wanna blow any more money at the moment if i don't have to... but i really want a decent performing heli :/
im suprised the stock motor is running that well. when i got my Honey Bee King 2 the stock motor burned out when it hadnt run for more than 10 minutes.
This helicopter is great! i never have done this stuff b/4 but i just did a cool semi-noobish hover. The first 2 flights i dident know what i was doing and just took off and crashed. But after skiddig around in my bedroom i took it out on my carport and did a stable hover.
hi i have a problem when i charge my battery for honey bee king 2 it wont charge becuse red and green light is flashing so my question is do i have to change battery or charger
Yes, actually this was it's first flight right out of the box, no adjustments needed, if you are having problems with the setup, subzzzzzzzero has uploaded a good setup video series, just search for "honey bee king 2 setup" to find it.
Saludos.
None really, I am not very strict adjusting the angle, I simply make a visual adjustment, I test it and if it pleases me how it flies it's done, if not, I change it until I like it.
thanks for the info in the comments very helpfull i just got myself a upgraded version with a 4200kv brushless motor 30A Speed Controller 3 x 11.1v 1350mAh 12C Li-ion Polymer Batterys training kit and spare blades for $269 cant wait for it to come ill post a video resopones when i get it of the setup and first flight i have alot of dvds and i uset to fly rc planes and was around helis alot but im sure i well need help
. . . maybe in about two or three months, but it depends a lot in time you spend with it and in availability of spares, because waiting for them may keep you on the ground several days, so when you learn tail-in hover, don't be a hero, don't try to fly circuits until you dominate all hover orientations, that would keep your heli in one piece, and avoid your wallet to get empty ;) Welcome to this exciting hobby!!!
Definitely yes, it has a smooth flight and hovers easily, i didn't had to adjust anything to begin to fly, it came well trimmed, and it's cheap for it's stock performance, just make shure you can get spares easily because you will need them while learning.
thanks =] i just bought it, and will arrive tomorow =] =] =] cant wait to try it out, i also got some training gear and a spare set of blades at the same time so i dont have to bother wen they break because i crash it, lol. thanks for the advice =]
Congratulations!!, it was smart to buy a training gear, you may (mmm . . . maybe must) also buy a simulator interface cable for your transmitter, a simulator is an invaluable tool to learn flying without damaging you helicopter, you can start with FMS, but get some better sim if you can. About the time to learn, if you are careful and practice a lot (in a simulator, that will save you from crashing until you are familiar with all helicopter orientations) . . .

LeoRyan 4 years ago
hey would this helicopter be suitable for beginners?????
magicmantom 4 years ago
Only if you are a fast learner. It's more delicate than the Honey Bee CP2 and WAY more delicate than the Honey Bee FP.
If you use some training undercarriage and take it slow then you could do a lot worse than one of these.

Saludos.
