So much of the 80's cartoons were greatly drawn and made in asia the music and story lines are so much more mature compared to the childish rubbish they have for kids now..im honured to have witnessed all these great cartoons when I was young! :)

So much tacky computer animation now, and/or the kind where the action scenes are crap, you know the ones where they have the character staying still and colours in the background moving when they are jumping or flying or whatever? Terrible, lazy unimaginative humourless generic rubbish. The likes of these classic 80's cartoons will never be seen again.

In my opinion, this was the best show I saw as a child. It had drama, adventure and mystery... And a wholelot more. There were a lot of good shows on TV during the 80s... All of them good, but this was "the best of the best". Everyone in my class knew the intro.

A very nice person worked very hard to create DVDs of this because the English dubbed version was lost. His name is Tim Skutt and you can buy them from him (this isn't spam by the way!). No network wants to repeat the series so it's the only way to see them. Don't go to ebay, it's full of people who ripped the DVDs and I bought them and they're awful. Go through Tim (Google him with MCoG) and it's cheaper and they really are a work of art. Best TV series ever.

Yes! I was hoping someone would post this. I loved this show. But, I've just realized, I have no memory of the plot. Just looked up when it aired in the US: Per Wikipedia, it was produced in 1983-84, and aired on Nick in the late '80s.
