good stuff, not too keen on the four armed character as it does not look like it has anatomical structure. How would those arms have evolved and how would the skeletal structure look? Sticking an extra pair of arms on the side makes it look a little weak. EVerything else, spot on. Good work otherwise.

@Legendaryjujitsumast I certainly cannot reach that LOD just yet but I can see EMJAYFAB's point. There doesn't seem to anything supporting the second set of arms. It isn't that big of a deal but that extra bit of detail can seriously add to the believability of a character. As is, the arms just sort of pop out from the ribs.

And Pro or not, everyone needs criticism; well... the positive kind anyway. It helps us all learn. EMJAYFAB was merely making an observation and commented on it.

@Legendaryjujitsumast It is not a case of being able to use the software to do better. As a technical artist, it is my job to look at anatomical structure and the believability of the form. The four armed model is well made, but does not support an evoloutionary design. How would the attach to the skeleton. Look at Scott Eatons website and then come back for a further discussion. Other than the anatomy, the models have been made well, I think I did point that out in my original post.

@halo6534 zbrush for modeling/sculpting, mud for painting (zbrush can do it but mud is slick for it) and maya for everything else rigging animating rendering etc.

@Gamezalot So what sort of art do you produce? Working in 3d is more simple than working in 2d like painting, regardless if some people like to say otherwise. The reason being is that your brain naturally perceives objects in three dimensions, whereas in a painting, you have to trick the eye into making it appear 3d.

hug man scares me. t rex is my favorite. very realistic and the length is accurate. its tail is about correct in porportion to its body mass. though the arodynamics in the legs leaves something to be desired, and the head is a LITTLE too short, all in all, it is exellent. i love it.
