In many Muslim countries Arabic language is taught in schools and it is mandatory. This has been going on ever since Islam reached those countries, which in some cases is as much as 1300+ years.

Nevertheless although the languages are somewhat affected, which is expected anyways after 13 centuries, they have remained the primary official language, without even recognizing Arabic as a secondary language.
