Hi rodpinball, @peanuthenry, I can confirm that I was indeed the mystery Hammond player, though it was not a Hammond at all, just a cheesy little synth played in the producer's lounge room. Never got a chance to re-record it with the real thing. Still a little embarrassing ;-)
Wow, three years makes a huge difference in a persons life and maturity. Look at Penny in 91, she was a spunky kid and in this she is a mature adult singing a serious tune.
Don't worry Penny....all I recall of the video is the blue cast, low sun light and you looking great with your acoustic guitar. Influenced me to bop the same way when I was on stage (circa roughly the same time as yourself) in Melbourne.
Anyway, I digress......the song the song.....fantastic. "your steady hand, pushing me right back"
I do not understand this video, nor did i at the time. i turned up to the location and there were boys in tutus sliding down sand dunes. Why? I still don't know. It continues perplex me 15 years on. I look cranky and hot, which I was. having said that, thanks for posting this, I do love this song, if not the video.. from Penny
Penny, your Seven Flights Up is probably one of my most most purchased albums - I must have bought about 6 of them at gigs, and lost them because tighta**es stole them, but at least I have them on my iTunes purchased albums. I was in nostalgia mode this evening and heard this new mix ( well, you probably did it ages ago). Nice Hammond - who did that?
Thanks, for your multiple purchasing. This is the original single version of the song that was released to radio - it was originally on the album, 'Bravado' Can't remember who did the hammond though.
Also - anyone have Club Hoy stuff?!

@peanuthenry Those boys look so cute rolling down the sand dunes in their little tutu's. Great track and vocals Penny :)
