Guys, Tim Duncan is possibly the greatest Power Forward ever to play in the NBA. He has so many accolades, such as 4 championships, being named Player of the Decade in 2010, 4.5 MVP awards (Regular Season,NBA Finals, and All-Star Game), and since he joined the Spurs in 1997, the Spurs are the team with the highest winning percentage of any team in professional sports.
i dont get how ppl can say kg is better then duncan. yes kg is more athletic but thats it. duncan is a fucking winner and has in times dominated big games. kg never accomplished anything in minnesota no matter who they put around him. td is a better player becuz of the rings, becuz everything ran through him on the spurs he was the leader even drob stepped and let him takeover the team. nothing against kg becuz hes great but td was better period.

I somewat agree wit that overall. Duncan in 03 was so amazing, that was his cementing as ana lltime great player season........ KG did that in 04 but then Cassell got injured and they lost in 6 to the lakers. KG was still GREAT that season and came up HUGE against the kings to make the WCF, but then their 2nd best player got hurt.

I agree, Tim Duncan is a great player, But, KG is obviously better. KG plays with the team and is the least bothered about who gets MVP, and other awards,etc. KG will take the Celtics to greater heights, you'll see.

If KG was truly better than Timmy he would've found a way to win in Minnesota. Bostong basically had to purchase all-stars to help KG win a title. Timmy's won titles with vastly different teams.
No disrespect to Garnett, but Duncan is definitely a more complete player.

for a PF, def duncan has it hands down cause hes an old school cat with the fundamental PF moves. but KG is a better all around player cause like most say, hes 6'11 but able to play like a guard sometimes. they're both great players and great in diff ways, and they've both posted seasons where they've had 20 10 avg's.
