I was skeptical when I heard Starbuck was being played as a woman. But Kara's character really pulled it off.

Original Kara was a Human - Cylon Hybrid of some sort that was created in secret and turned loose into the Human Population. She was Programmed to have Above average Skills and with the ability to push people away a lot no mattre who they were, except one. Her above average skills were there to help her help the Human Race by the Original Designer of Cylons, Daniel. Her program made her fly ihto that Energy Storm at some point and find Earth. Her plane crashed and she was downloaded 2 a new Body

I'm man enough to admit it, when Kara disappeared I frakking lost it, with a series so great like this one Kara wasn't just a character on a show, she was more like a real person, someone you felt like you actually knew and when she vanishes its a heart breaker, but she saved so many and you cant say thank you enough to her.

@macross25 When i finished watching the finale, I actually cried. One of the few things on tv that made me cry but it was good tears. I truly thought it was a great way to end it. They introduced so many new ideas that COULD have made more seasons but they ended it like that on purpose to give your imagination a chance. That's also why books and movies based off books turn out badly. Your imagination is crippled but with BSG, I never lost hope for one minute. Best series to happen to my life.

I wasn't even freaked out when Lee turned and saw that Kara had vanished. I just had a really empty feeling inside. I bet Lee felt the same way.

@MacaroniLololol same as I felt, I actually felt lost the minute she dissapeared. I was already upset over roslin dying then they hit you with Kara just disappears.Man memorable ending but thinking of it doesn't make me feel good like others, just makes me feel Like I lost a family member or something. Never knew I was so attached. Man I know the creators want to give the auidence an ending they will remember but I'm sorry I prefer happy endings.

What also made me sad was that their descendants won't know the legacy that they came from. How could you tell a story like this on one of the conspiracy sites if it was real like abovetopsecret on ancient civilizations that ancient astronauts came here and where humans and in face they where being chased by cybernetic beings who eventually humans of earth and the humans from the other side of the galaxy and the cybernetics are in our blood 150,000 years ago. I wouldn't believe it.

This ended the way it only could, I knew that it would be in the past but not that far. Along with Kara disappearing, I thought Baltar and Six about farming was him coming full circle and truly sad. He spent his whole life trying to get away from Arelon the planet of his birth and then he comes full circle and by sheer miracle he makes it to a new planet with the remnants of humans to start anew not knowing where it will take him.

WickIDwarrior, i agree it was frakked up what happened to them, I also really felt for Geata and Kat (especially the way she gave her life) This soundtrack always brings tears to my eyes. You know, I cried when Laura passed away and Bill started crying..

..After that, I though I was done, but then the moment at 4:34 happened, and I just started bawling. Gaius was my favourite character, and I never gave up on him. I was so happy that he and Caprica finally were together again, and he was free to love her as she did so very much to him. When Gaius pulled her over by the body armor and kissed her passionately: I cheered! I couldn't ask more a more beautiful ending!

@masketkiller101 There is some stuff you see - that's difficult to explain, I've seen a disgruntled guy in a Muppet suit drive along at 80 miles and hour on a freeway in a preposterously small car. But it's a hell of alot funnier to say I just saw a pissed off "Grover" going 80 miles an hour down the New Jersey Turnpike. So is Ms. Sackoff an angel - no, is she an actor whom I wouldn't mind seeing have more opportunities in her career - yes.

But... just look at Billy & Dee, they were shown together as a sign of hope and they ended horribly, but that is life... even the characters that were shown as being "together" in the "end" were going to die, but that's the message of the show... at least in mind... life always finds a way and it's always about what you do with your time in existence... as far as I'm concerned, that's what I gleamed from the series.

Both of the human/cylon pairings got a happy-ending of sorts... which goes to say a lot about equality and tollerance, because one day we will all be one... even though... we are already one now... life is a f-ed up drama & without drama there is no conflict... & hence no drama... life is about pain... I'm over it already, are youz? lol I love Battlestar Galactica... no one really had a happy ending, cause look at Billy and Dee...

I start to tear up at 5:10 and then I sob just like I did when I saw the footage along with the music. This scene and this music, more than anything else, is the true ending of Battlestar Galactica for me. It's the emotional goodbye.
