@RBNightlinger I'd say the Discovery Channel bends over backwards to make allowances for the Biblical story e.g. the assertion that the instruction to take two of every kind of animal, could apply just to the animals in Noah's vicinity.

It is quite obvious that the Bible is full of myth and exaggeration, mixed in is historical facts. @16MrAc That logic doesn't sound scientific. And, unfortunately, the Bible wasn't true either. Science disproves a lot of the Noah's Ark myths with hard facts. Why listen to a book when the facts are in front of you? Read about Apollonius of Tyana and you will find out why religions became popular 1978 years ago. Jesus Christ won out of all of the other rivals he had. He was just lucky to be popular.
Personally I believe there was a man named Noah and a devastating flood did occur in his locality, he built a boat and took people and animals on it. However the Bible exaggerates the story way too much turning what was likely a local flood into something world wide.
@MrIntangibleasset It is good that you are thinking that way. That Bible had exaggerated so much, many of the things written could not have been happened. It was so much so that it was just a regional flood, with a few sets of animals, on a lake for a few days. This story can't be trusted.
Anyone notice he said that Moses was described as a wine grower? I just thought he grew grapes. If you can grow wine please send me some seeds for my own wine garden. If I can grow it myself I'll save a lot of money and I'll share it with any person who supplies the seeds!

@SouthernBell4Christ In other words, you blindly believe a fairy tale about: a talking snake, cherubs with flaming swords, magical trees, a bronze stick that cures snakebite, sticks becoming snakes, seraphs, witches, a river becoming blood, dust becoming insects, supernatural virgin birth, a man walking on water, a swimming ax head, a woman becoming salt, a loaf and fishes feeding 4,000, a guy who stops a storm on command, angels, demons, dead returning...
@SouthernBell4Christ And you need to look at a little science. There is no flood mud layer with all the dead bodies in it. There is no geologic evidence for this silly story. Watch the video you are spamming.

I found a whole story made out of Watermarks on Our Planet using Google Earth and I found them in something else to. I just posted my latest video- I found pictures of God! I've put the story together and made a video of it to share with you. When your finished tell someone what you saw this day !! He Lives ! Come see my Channel and look at the Amazing things I've found ! I even found the Garden of Eden - come see !!
There is some truth and lot of exaggeation in all these religious stories. There may have been a storm in some part of earth and Noah did build a boat and carried those animals he could find. But the flood did not occur on all of the earth nor Noah carried out all the species on earth.
Funny that post Noah there was a great flood also and the hero of this story is Gilgamesh! It seems like Noahs story is borrowed from the ancient Sumerians. The epic of Gilgamesh is the older story that was told BEFORE Noahs. Maybe both are true or maybe one is or maybe both are false. The point is this story was told before. Same goes for the ten commandments taken from the book of the dead again from the same period in history.
@MrLovESouls Jesus and Krishna are the same? Well, jesus is krishna. Christ, Krishna. Jesus traveld everywhere. The great flood happend somewhere in 4000 bc. All religions are the same. And please explain those skeletons of the giants.
@JuliusIsMe I know that the old and new testament speak of these giants ruling for a period of time in our history. However, alot of the pictures that we can see circulating on the internet are the product of a photoshop competition, where people show off their hability to make a fake picture believable. Look it up. National Geographics wrote an article saying they NEVER found these giant skeletons. We live in a time where technology and make believe can work together to deceive. Peace to you.
Jesus didn't travel everywhere according to the Bible he barely made it out of Palestine (and there is no contemporary records of his existence outside of the Bible).
There is no global signature for a world wide flood.
Some religions are atheistic (Buddhism). Polytheistic (Asatro), and Monotheistic (Judaism). They are obviously not the same.
Which skeleton of Giants? Where are these skeleton housed?
Jesus isn't mentioned in the Old Testament but there are prophecies about "the Messiah" though. According to Christian beliefs Jesus is supposed to have fulfilled these prophesies but any Rabbi can tell you he didn't, and you can check that yourself ; for instance, Jesus didn't rebuild the Temple in his lifetime and was not the anointed King of Israel. According to the NT Jesus can't inherit Davids throne, his lineage is wrong.
Both are wrong. In Matthew 1:11-12 the line includes Jeconiah. But Jeremiah (22:28-30) states that God cursed him "none of his descendants shall prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling anymore in Judah."
Luke's lineage does not include Solomon (instead Davids son Nathan), but according to prophecy the Messiah MUST be of Solomon's lineage (II Samuel 7:12-13, I Chronicles 17:11-14 : I Chronicles 22:8-10) and I Chronicles 28:4-7 ).
@MrLovESouls The garden of eden story and the tower of babel also come from Sumerian stories (History Channel:"Mysteries of the Garden of Eden", The last judgement/revelation comes from Zoroaster (HC:"Apocalypse The Puzzle of Revelations". "Testament" with John Romer also talks about where the genesis stories came from. I am tracking down where all the bible stories came from. Yes, nearly every story in the Bible was taken from stories before the Israelites even existed.
" Gen. Pershing once said, "There are no Atheists in foxholes"... "
Firstly, that is not true at all, atheism is the majority faith in countries like Sweden which, until recently had compulsory military service. Buddhists are atheists too etc.
And secondly, to quote James Morrow:
"'There are no atheists in foxholes' isn't an argument against atheism, it's an argument against foxholes."
Psalms 14: "The fool hath said, there is no God." How did Job know the earth spherical ? They thought Columbus was nuts 500 yrs ago making the claim.. Job also spoke of gravity...The spirit of God drew the animals to the ark..
Would you like to know where the Real Noah's Ark is? I'm selling the real location to the World. Check out my video and see how I'm doing this. Those other locations, that you've been told are wrong. If you truly want to know where it's really located see my Channel. I really did find it and I'm willing to sell it to all of you. Make sure you check out my other videos also and see what amazing things I've discovered!
@Shmucko21 lol they're all fucktards... to believe someone who loves you drowned animals and every fucking bit of life minus 8 people with a shitload of animals in a floating box.
Anyone doubting the possibility of Bible is constraining God to their little 3 dimensional world, catch up with science folks, God is possibly 24 dimensions higher than us according to mathematical calculations. The Bible describes atoms, 4 dimensions, not to mention the unending evidence from archeology. Micro biology lends itself to design, not evolution. Cosmology is overwhelmingly proving this is not an accident, wake up before it's too late.
No it doesn't. That's simply what you want to read into its words.
« the unending evidence from archeology »
Archaeology, which is coming to the conclusion that there may be much less historical accuracy in the bible's stories than even the most sceptic archaeologists would have suspected two decennia ago.
« Cosmology is overwhelmingly proving this is not an accident »
...? You're just making up shit now, aren't you? I certainly have seen no publications proposing any such conclusions in astronomy, cosmology or theoretical physics.
@Draugh39 Godel proved that any axiomatic system of mathematics is incomplete. It is merely verbal transformations, like "Cats are feline." so it is true, but not an empirical science tested by the scientific method.
It isn't really "true". Maths is consistent within its own framework but it is not tested against anything outside of the framework, and the truth-value of this framework isn't verified. And as Gödel showed, it can't be. Scientific models are tested against "reality" via observations but they aren't "true" either - they are the best explanation we have so far and are correct within an error range.
@Draugh39 More exactly, the 1st theorem proved any system is incomplete, the 2nd, more puzzling, proves only an inconsistent system can prove its own consistency. But math is not an empirical science, true.
Evolition doesn't exist and never existed. If it was how come there are no new animal groups? If it was real, still should have new races, groups of animals and also human.
@MultiGakka I guess you missed new species of:evening primrose, kew primrose, Trapogon, Hemp Nettle, Maidenhair Fern, Woodsia fern, Fruit Flies, Fireweed, House Mouse, and cichlids.
Name anything any scientist has seen a supernatural being create.
@InternetDarkLord then tell me how and where they were coming from? Developed from nothing or created by God? Ur name is incorrect internet dark lord (so wicked) so do not tell me where and how they were coming from.
@MultiGakka I came from the universe, which is a p-dimensional membrane of the multiverse, which always existed. So where did God come from? If you can't answer that question, saying "God did it." adds nothing to what we understand.
@InternetDarkLord I won't say it. Everyone knows He's in Heaven. Where Heaven is? No humankind knows it. Only God. I won't say anything whatever you wanna hear.
@InternetDarkLord Probably from another "Big Bang". LOL Who knows if this Universe is the only one of its kind? Example: If 1 Big Bang happened, then why not 1 million others before it? And obviously we cannot dismiss the possibilities that our vast Universe is not filled with heaps of immortal planets which may contain far more advance and superior beings greater than ourselves.
Men are fools, so ask the better question: Whom has traveled the entire Universe and came back with all the Answers?
That's a flat out lie. Genetic change over time is seen every day. If 2 parents have a child, that child will have new genetic information compared to its parents. This is easily shown with DNA testing. Thus evolution (= genetic change from one generation to the next) is a fact. The Theory of evolution explains speciation, Speciation has been also observed c.f. Culex pipiens molestus as an example.
@Lawlessuk Meat, plants, eggs....anything they wanted! More seriously, dinosaurs stomach contents and dung (coprolites) sometimes fossilized, so we do have solid direct evidence of both carnivores (Like Theropods) and herbivores (Like Sauropods.)
new version: "The Sheep Is Break Down - Noah's Ark in an Ice Cave: Fact or Fiction?" look for it under youtube channel "TravelBeam". Noah's Ark fraud by Parasut and the Chinese NAMI team. Fraud is a felony.
@earlysda Which one of Noah's pure noble family members had crabs, herpes, syphilis and Chlamydia since most human diseases including STDs can't survive outside the human body?
@gregrutz No one has any idea when these diseases first appeared. Only when you believe in Jesus Christ, and ask for his Holy Spirit to guide you, will you be able to understand the truth. The truth will set you free from human small-thinking :)
Noah's ark is only BASED ON a true story. Look up Santorini and the destruction of the Minoan Empire. History channel did a documentary on the fact that the story was from the breaching of a natural land dam that kept what we now call the Black Sea, a peaceful valley. The tsunami from the Santorini volcanic explosion caused a tidal wave that breached that natural dam and flooded the enormous valley, turning it into a sea. Anything beyond that is a pure fiction. Science/archeology rules.
The tradition of time when water covered the whole of the earths surface are universal. Many races harbor the story of a worldwide flood some time during past ages. The Biblical story of Noah, the ark and the flood is an invention of the Hewbrew priesthood during the Babylonian captivity. But, Noah really lived; he was a wine maker of Aram,a river settlement near Erech..He kept a written recond of the days of the river rise from year to year. ,,The wipe out of their village, yes..
Amazing. So foolish are th speculations of this so called "documentary" that it defies response. What stupidity. I am shocked this was provided airtime.
@Ninety9Soulz Try wikipedia about Noah's ark & flood story. Interesting to compare Bible flood story with Babylonian Gilgamesh flood myth. Gilgamesh is thought to have lived 2700BCE. Ussher chronology based on Bible genealogy puts flood at 2348 BCE. Talkorigins put flood at 2250BCE. The Egyptian Great Pyramid dates to 2550BCE with no sign of flood damage. Try sceptical Bible scholars Robert M Price, John W Loftus, Dan Barker, Victor j Stenger, Valerie Tarico, Richard Carrier, Ken Humphreys

@DiGray2011 No. And I will tell you why. Science (geology especially) is fundamentally flawed. You date Fossils by the layer of rock they are in. You date rock by what fossils you find in it. SO which came first? This seems to be a circular argument doesn't it. Completely ignorant of facts and void of logic.
Some creotards have claimed all animals were vegetarians before Noah's Farce, Genesis 1, verse 30. But some fossil carnivores have prey fossilized in their stomachs.
So, god can magic the animals into existence and flood the Earth with 3 times more water than has ever been on the planet and get a really old guy to build a boat to save every animal because he can't magic them back again and there is proof of this because of carbon dating that is fake because of the dinosaurs and 4 billion year old rocks and the shroud being from the 13th century...It's just a cute story for little kids, folks. Grow up.
@OneClownShoe carbon dated is flawed,VERY flawed.Maybe in a couple hundred years we will hve more thoughts on what really happend.Thats science right?you will keep changing
@OneClownShoe Actually, yes.Things dated by carbon dated are off by thousands of years. As your date gets to be a larger spread*our theory* the dating becomes less effecient. There was a freshly killed seal that was measured for carbon dating,It measured to be about 5,000 years old
@OneClownShoe you relize carbon dating can only date back to about 30000 years right, past that the increments are so small they are immeasurable. plus if god "magiced" the out and back again there would be no evidence of such a thing.
Flood story true, Noah saves animals in ship more or less the size of an early Ming trading ship true, the idea of the flood as punishment for sin is made up, the flood was just something we ran into and were not able to avoid.
Google search on these terms: bearfabrique composite system
If it's so "idiotic" then where is your evidence that I'm wrong? You got mad at me before for not asking you for evidence, and you still haven't given any to contradict my first claims. If your not here to talk science then please stop acting so immature and please stop being a bully.
This myth is derived from the Epic of Gilgamesh and the historical events surrounding King Ziusudra as "modified" by the Israelites during the Babylonian captivity. All of it was then plugged into their own religious beliefs, which were themselves borrowed from the Canaanites and Egyptians.

Noah's ark is...BULLSHIT!
lexmafia 4 months ago
There is some truth and lot of exaggeation in all these religious stories. There may have been a storm in some part of earth and Noah did build a boat and carried those animals he could find. But the flood did not occur on all of the earth nor Noah carried out all the species on earth.
mmnasir1000 4 months ago
Funny that post Noah there was a great flood also and the hero of this story is Gilgamesh! It seems like Noahs story is borrowed from the ancient Sumerians. The epic of Gilgamesh is the older story that was told BEFORE Noahs. Maybe both are true or maybe one is or maybe both are false. The point is this story was told before. Same goes for the ten commandments taken from the book of the dead again from the same period in history.
MrLovESouls 4 months ago
@MrLovESouls Jesus and Krishna are the same? Well, jesus is krishna. Christ, Krishna. Jesus traveld everywhere. The great flood happend somewhere in 4000 bc. All religions are the same. And please explain those skeletons of the giants.
JuliusIsMe 4 months ago
@JuliusIsMe I know that the old and new testament speak of these giants ruling for a period of time in our history. However, alot of the pictures that we can see circulating on the internet are the product of a photoshop competition, where people show off their hability to make a fake picture believable. Look it up. National Geographics wrote an article saying they NEVER found these giant skeletons. We live in a time where technology and make believe can work together to deceive. Peace to you.
MrLovESouls 4 months ago 2
@JuliusIsMe
Draugh39 3 months ago
@Draugh39 Judaism is the first testimant of the bible. It also says in the end about Jesus. I'm an expert in religion.
JuliusIsMe 3 months ago
@JuliusIsMe
Draugh39 3 months ago
@Draugh39 Which of the two-completely different- ones is wrong? Matthew and Luke have 2 different lists, naming different people!
InternetDarkLord 3 months ago
@InternetDarkLord
So both lines excludes Jesus.
Draugh39 3 months ago

« The Bible describes atoms, 4 dimensions »
No it doesn't. That's simply what you want to read into its words.
« the unending evidence from archeology »
Archaeology, which is coming to the conclusion that there may be much less historical accuracy in the bible's stories than even the most sceptic archaeologists would have suspected two decennia ago.

Except for the little fact that not only it doesn't, but that there isn't even a testable hypothesis of design to consider.

XGralgrathor 4 months ago
@cocoonbreach
What a pile of rubbish.
The Bible does not describe atoms (give the chapter and verse).
Biblical archeology shows Judaism as polytheistic and no evidence of the Exodus etc.
Intelligent Design has been proven in a court of law, not to be science and some of their proponents even committed perjury (Dover trial of 2005).
Finally mathematics isn't a natural science, it does not work according to the scientific method. It isn't "true" either as Gödel showed.
Draugh39 3 months ago
@Draugh39 Godel proved that any axiomatic system of mathematics is incomplete. It is merely verbal transformations, like "Cats are feline." so it is true, but not an empirical science tested by the scientific method.
InternetDarkLord 3 months ago
@InternetDarkLord
The point was, maths is maths, not science.
Draugh39 3 months ago
@Draugh39 More exactly, the 1st theorem proved any system is incomplete, the 2nd, more puzzling, proves only an inconsistent system can prove its own consistency. But math is not an empirical science, true.

"Evolition doesn't exist and never existed."

Ussher chronology based on Bible genealogy puts flood at 2348 BCE. Talkorigins put flood at 2250BCE. The Egyptian Great Pyramid dates to 2550BCE with no sign of flood damage.
