Well brother all I can tell you is that Jesus was the highest priest of the Church and he created a priesthood then breathed upon them the holy spirit and ordered them to go out into the world and forgive the sins of man, he also put his hands upon Peter and gave him and him only the keys to his kingdom, then he told Peter that upon him he will build his Church... Peter is buried at Saint peters basilica in Rome and upon him is the Vatican, is all in the Bible.
He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.
you cant just believe is something blindly, you have to see the evidence for your self but you can continue ignoring the teachings of Jesus, is ok... is your choice
@cyberworksstudio ...Evidence. Like the biblical evidence on Purgatory, Divinity of Mary, Prayer to Saints, Papal infalibility, Celibacy, Priest confession, transubstantiation of the eucharyst....
Look, lil' atheists mock us blievers for having some beliefs that only have faith as the reason to be believed. We believe in the Bible as the one and only authority on Christianity, and even our interpretation of such a perfect book can be faulty...yet some Catholic traditions are not EVEN biblical.
@Jhairus i know because they know as Christians know that is not the bible that is the authority it is the Church that has authority on earth, thats why God left it here so it can teach us what he thought his "priest"
God never had pastors or ministers it was always priest, priest with the Jews and priest with the new covenant, hos Church.... that same Church that made the Christian bible we all rad today, don't believe me then look it up.
@cyberworksstudio Hm so they gave us the Bible so they took the liberty to hide it from the people, slaughtering anyone who dared to even TRANSLATE it into the commoners language. You know, here in Mexico catholics introduced christianity, converted the indians and massacred or slaved every other. They "read the Scripture" to us. When Protestants came on the 1850s they "Teached us to read the scripture". Did they liked it? NO. You don't want to know the obscure history of the Church in Mexico.
@Jhairus you really need to pick up a history book cause you sound like a 12yr old kid.... the original text of the bible was Hebrew, LATIN, ARAMAIC and GREEK! the common languages of the times of Jesus Christ, now if you want to learn REAL CHRISTIAN HISTORY go talk to a Catholic seminarian Priest cause protestant pastors don't even know a quarter of Christian history, and it was the only the Catholic Church that thought the poor how to read and write against the wishes of kings and emperors.
@cyberworksstudio Putting that immature, uncalled for and overall lame attempt of sarcasm aside: That's your opinion. There are plenty of respected catholic, protestant and secular scholars. You just can't underrate someone's knowledge because of a different faith (or none at all).
Now: you say the Roman Church thought the poor to read. All right. To read what?
Apologetics? History? The Bible in the local language? Science? Politics? Literature?
@Jhairus you should really not open your mouth if you have NO idea of what you are talking about, not only that you sound ignorant but not well educated in CHRISTIAN history also, you should really...really try picking up a history book once in a wile, you might learn something...
@cyberworksstudio I was expecting a serious answer instead of a personal opinion. Oh well. But all right, I'll give you another chance:
The Roman Church thought the poor to read. That's what you said. I asked: To read what? Maybe you got offended but trust me: I can't picture the Church teaching any subject besides their traditions and dogmas to commoners during the Middle Ages. Pehaps I am wrong.
@cyberworksstudio Jhairu, so you think the bible is the authority?....LOL dude, maybe you wanna find out who made the Christian Bible, Im not sorry to tell you that you are holding a book that was made by CATHOLICS in your very hands, only the high BISHOP "the chair of PETER" had the authority to make this happen.... no the bible didn't fall out of the sky but it was the 2000 yr old holy apostolic Church that made this happen.
@cyberworksstudio No they didn't. Jews did it. Jews wrote the Old Testament and pre-catholic christians (former jews as well) wrote the New Testament. Now if you think the church compiled the canon...well it did. It did before it blended with the Roman state turning popes and bishops into emperors and kings instead of shepherds and servants. Giving Tradition as much authority as the Scripture when nobody could read it to find the "authority" never followed it. Very convenient.
@Jhairus such thing smart guy, the letters used in the NEW TESTAMENT came from CATHOLIC MARTYRS, it was A POPE that ordered the bible to be put together with the Hebrew bible(old testament) to make the Christian bible; smart guy!
Those letters are still with the Church and those who wrote the OT are burried in CATHOLIC CHURCHES that bare their name; smart guy! its 1500yrs later that luther took 7 books out of the OT and changed wording on the new NT with NO AUTHORITY to do so; smart guy!
@cyberworksstudio I really hope you meant "catholic" in the universal sense and not in the denominational sense. Paul, Peter, Mark, Luke, Matthew and John where not "Roman Catholic" (John isn't even a martyr)
I doubt all of Bible writers and letters are buried in Catholic churches (not the real ones anyway)
But assuming they are, it's obvious. Can you imagine another christian organization claiming a relic when the Church was THAT powerful?
@Jhairus wow sorry your conversation sounded so heated. did you know that a catholic bishop named onesimus is recorded historical at the time of the apostles helped gather all of pauls letters. you may recognize the name it was the name of the slave the Paul wrote to philemon to free him. and historically when were the books of the bible decided and in that actual document the so called books of the apocrypha are there two mixed with all the other books. God bless
Respond to this video... and 3rd the Catholic Church is the only 2000 year old Christian church on the face of the earth, older than islam, everything else thats likes to call it self christian cam 1500 yrs after the death of Christ and made by man, 2 german men to be exact, most proestant churchers are no older than 20 to 1 years old.
@cyberworksstudio Dear bro. What Luther did was to put an end to the political, reason-binding, money laundering ways of the Catholic Church back then. Scientists who wondered about the world died! Even brothers who wondered about our very beliefs died those days! And that's pretty much it. Differences happened when we decided to follow ONLY the teachings of the Bible, but if you believe in Christ, follow his example, and trust him as the one and only way to heaven, your'e as Christian as I am.
@Jhairus what Luther did was the devil's work, and even he new it, you should read his letters specially at his deathbed when asked for forgiveness for what he had done.
he saw his own flock turn against him and the church he created, and the churches those lost souls made where in their own image not Gods, luther lost his soul to his earthly pleasures and in return he managed to stray some christians away from the only Church ordered from Jesus own lips to be build on earth.
@cyberworksstudio If Luther ever repented to anything it was because his divine-inspired Reformation didn't bring the results he hoped during his lifetime. Besides, charging money to a poverty-striked people for the sake of an imaginary place between hell and heaven, killing scientists who confirmed what we take for granted today, preching with a sword, kept a monopoly of the scripture who sank the entire world into ignorance, inquisition, crusades...now THAT sounds like the devil's work to me.
1. The people weren't poverty stricken. It's not like everyone lived in mud houses. The people who could afford indulgences purchased them, those who couldn't did other things for penance.
2. The vatican had a lot of scientists in its day and was not against Science in general. Galileo was good friends with the pope, but was condemned when he published a pamphlet mocking the church and calling them idiots.
3. I wont argue with this. The church has a violent history, but don't forget that so do the protestants.
4. The world was never sunk into ignorance. The church was actually pretty big about education, which is why is had so many universities and schools for children.
4. The Inquisitions brought us the idea of innocent until proven guilty and prevented huge witch hunts on the grounds that witch craft couldn't be proven. And the crusades were just sort of messy on both ends.
@cyberworksstudio Wrong. Coptic Christianity and Ethiopian Christianity are about as old as the Catholic church. The Eastern Orthodox Church is technically just as old as well, although that's a bit complicated. The reformation was a reaction to real problems that had existed in the church. Nothing Luther did was the devil's work. He never originally wanted to break away, he wanted the church to clean up its act, something it really needed to do, and it eventually did do.
@00Petulia00 WRONG!.. thats how much you know, you have no clue when it come to Christian history do you? Coptic, Ethiopian, Russian and Eastern Orthodox were ALL Catholic once, even Luther before he got tempted by the devil and decided to rebel against the ONLY CHURCH Jesus ordered Peter to build on earth, Luther never had any authority to do what he did and he went to his grave regretting what he did and betrayed by his own flock.
@cyberworksstudio 1/2 I'm majoring in religious studies, specializing in history of Christianity. So I do know something about this subject. The Christians in Alexandria never acknowledged the catholic pope as their leader, they have their own. They are one of the four Apostolic sees, founded by Saint Mark. Also, they have different beliefs than the RCC, mainly on the Christology and nature of Jesus.
I'll give you Russian and Eastern Orthodox, but only because that comes down to opinion.
@00Petulia00 am so sorry you been thought error, see the bible it self says Jesus build his Church upon Peter, Jesus gave Peter and Peter ONLY the keys to his kingdom, and then he ORDERED Peter and Peter ONLY to FEED his SHEEP.... that would be ALL of US.
The Apostles where all ready calling the CHURCH (not churches) the UNIVERSAL Church which is "καθολικός" (katholikos) in GREEK meaning --> CATHOLIC
@00Petulia00 Protestant christians ignore this part of the bible cause it would start pointing at the one and only ancient Christian Church of Jesus Christ, only ONE Church, Jesus him self was a the highest priest and he establish a priesthood here on earth, he gave the power to his PRIEST to go out and FORGIVE man's SINS and if you don't believe me you can read it for your self in the bible.
Under the order of a POPE the new testament was put with the Hebrew bible to make Christian Bible.
@cyberworksstudio 2/3 As for Luther, Luther was catholic until he officially broke away, and that only happened after the church refused didn't to listen to him or work out it's problems. He was a devoted Christian who strongly cared about his faith. As a catholic, I don't see how he was a bad man, or working for the devil. All of his information came from the church fathers like Augustine, or the bible itself.
@00Petulia00 Luther had NO authority for what he did, so everything he did was heresy not only that but if you actually read luther's writings you can see that he was devoted to the holy Mother of God and that he also regretted what he did at his deathbed, am sorry to tell you this but he died as a heretic and was also was betrayed by his flock when they decided to get rid of anything to do with the virgin Mary, going against everything luther created and believed in.
@00Petulia00 no MAN not even the one that has the keys to his kingdom, the one sits on Peter's chair can change the Church. Jesus has not come back to earth a second time to change things and Luther did not have any authority from God to change God's kingdom, sorry
the holy spirit nor the bible or his believes can give him or anyone else authority, only Jesus can and that authority was given to one leader, the greatest apostle, Peter
@00Petulia00 and the only other Churches that have any type authority in the Church would be the eastern and Russian orthodox churches and the Anglican church, reason why is because they have real Bishops that where ordained by other bishops all the way back to the Catholic Church and the Apostles, unlike protestants that have people with a paper certificate calling them bishops. a paper does not make you a bishop, a pastor, or a priest but hands laid upon you by an apostle does
@cyberworksstudio 3/3 He isn't evil and neither are his beliefs. He has a different interpretation. That hardly makes someone tempted by the devil, unless the devil's temptation was to read the bible to become a better christian. He saw a problem with the Church and thought it was moving away from what Jesus would have wanted, and he wasn't the only one to think this. There were a ton of reformers, many catholic ones too, who wanted change. Luther is just the most well known.
@00Petulia00 the Cathoic, Greek, Russian orthodox churches and the Anglican churches are the only Apostolic churches on the planet anything else is just protestant with their roots base on rebellion against the Church of Jesus Christ.
@cyberworksstudio (1/4)It seems like everyone who has does something to change the world recants on their deathbed, I very rarely find them to be true. Luther thought about his theology over his life time, and he wrote quite extensively on it. He believed what he wrote. His thoughts on Mary have nothing to do with anything discussed here. Mary is acknowledged to be the mother of god in pretty much every sect and form of christianity, and that’s what she is.
@cyberworksstudio (2/4)In luther’s eyes, and the eyes of many protestants, Peter is no greater than any of the other apostles. Paul actually did more for shaping Christianity and the church than Peter did. Luther thought that the true authority was in the scripture. He believed that some of the things the Catholic church was doing went against the word of god. Since he saw the authority of the scripture to be higher than the traditions of the church, he chose to obey the scripture.
@cyberworksstudio (3/4)As of Vatican 2 the Catholic church no longer considers protestants heretics. They are different from us, but we still say they are christians. They believe in one god, the almighty, who was the father of Jesus, the messiah. They believe he was born from the virgin Mary. They believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again from the dead. They fit the definition of the a christian, even if they differ a bit in the meaningless details. They are christians.
@cyberworksstudio (4/4)You don’t need to have official bishops to claim apostolic succession. Several churches outside of the ones you listed claim it, including some Lutheran churches. They can trace their leaders back to the apostles just as much as the catholic church can.
@00Petulia00... nope.. they branched off the Catholic Church just like every body else, you need to study your history buddy. lol... you guys come to a gun fight caring sticks...LOL
@cyberworksstudio I know they did. I'm double majoring in history and religious studies with a focus on the history of christianity. I have a dozen books devoted to the development of various christian groups, including Catholicism and Lutheranism, and I have plenty of lecture notes from professors, guest speakers, preachers, priests, and all sorts of people on this very subject. This is a subject I love, and I'm hoping to be able to teach it in a couple of years.
@00Petulia00 okay thats cool, since your looking i will ask you to look up this former protestant pastor "Scott Hahn" and read his books about his search for the truth, he has a website scotthahn(DOT)com, hes life story is amazing and is something that urge everyone that is searching for the truth to read.
Wow, these "catholic" animes are very annoying, as if Japanese catholics need more stereotypes. They should make an anime about a really rowdy guy who becomes a priest and gets placed in an old parish and rebuilds the community.
o_o im gonna build up my own church <_< a protestant one! only that the ministers would dress up as priests! o-o yahoo! support the new evolution of the christian church!
Damn dude. You have excellent timing and pick great visuals to link up with the music. The addition of the icons was very tasteful. You are diamond in the rough of AMV and get another 5/5 from me.
no need to have fueds between Catholics and protestants anymore. I am Catholic. We must unite against the enemy of God and the world, the Jew.

Wow, these "catholic" animes are very annoying, as if Japanese catholics need more stereotypes. They should make an anime about a really rowdy guy who becomes a priest and gets placed in an old parish and rebuilds the community.

Damn dude. You have excellent timing and pick great visuals to link up with the music. The addition of the icons was very tasteful. You are diamond in the rough of AMV and get another 5/5 from me.
