  • one person probably has no ears

  • I love this song almost as much as love the electric poet!

  • this is my favorite doors song

  • Found out about this song through nevermores cover of it. Love it! Think I could use a doors album in my collection :)

  • @syntheticskull Instead of just a Doors album you should acquire all of them. But hey, thats just me.

  • @snakework Yeah probably. I already have LA Woman and Waiting for the Sun. Its nice to have something upbeat yet mellow (by my standards at least) to put in the cd player.

  • this song is bliss on acid

  • you dont need a picture

jims voice paints a better one than the eyes can see

  • I used to take acid on saturday nights and listen to this tune ............in snowy Buffalo......

  • good idea to film in the darkness guys, adds a mysterious quality!

  • The best part of the video is when they are all passing throughThe Black Hole in Nebula X69

  • My favorite part is where they're roaming thru the dark forest.

  • Help I've gone blind!!!!!

  • Jim's voice is beautiful very moving

  • 1 person's Crystal ship sank. :(

  • I GOT LAID FOR THE FIRST TIME TO THIS TUNE , JIM MORRISON WOULD BE

PROUD AND IT WAS A VERY GOOD LAY .

  • @homey32100 your fuck only last 2:39 minutes ?

  • i miss this song

  • at least it's the whole song. this was the first song my husband ever sang to me :) and "our song" is touch me! :)

  • In '67 I was in a Catholic Seminary. It was so strict we couldn't even have a radio unless it had an earplug or headphones. And a tape recorder was OK so I bought a huge reel-to-reel. I listened to the 2 Doors albums & the 2 Love albums endlessly. I was in quite a different place in the universe than the rest. There was no room for a god. And certainly no need for one, either. The escape from god and the music were my secrets. The others & their god remain in a forsaken prison to this day.

  • Sorry about the institution. I remember I was at this pow wow and these native americans asked if we believed in god and then they said it didnt matter because he believed in us =) @vwtch

  • @vwtch god bless you!!!

    No it wouldn't

  • I agree

  • this is in a different key than the one on the album

  • Has anyone seen the Doors documentary yet? It has some fantastic footage I have never seen before, and some I have. Thrilling and sad.

  • @ladymia69 Ive seen it! I think it is a gorgeous representation of the doors and a fantastic piece of film. And in my opinion a much better representaion of Jim than that oliver stone film

  • I always loved this song I first heard it back in the late 60s and today it still has a timeless qualtiy

  • are there two pianos in this song, because i hear the vox continetal, and a grand piano

  • @beatlesfan831 yea there is the organ and piano

  • @beatlesfan831 actually ray played the organ for chords and melody, and the electric piano for bass

  • @cukadacher on this one [studio version] Ray's playing acoustic piano on top of the organ and keyboard bass. His solo is on acoustic piano. In their live show they didn't have an acoustic piano.

  • :==)

  • He was the greatest

  • Awesome lyrics...........truly timeless

  • @darksiderulz52

the streets are fields that never die
