Somehow, Riff Raff reminds me of Torgo from "Manos-The Hands of Fate"...
Of course, the whole story is kind of like a metaphor of how the world moved from this conservative, many things taboo mindset of the '50s-early '60s to the late '60s-'70s freak out where those taboos are tossed out the window.
I think this play is good. In my opinion, it's good than some others. Everyone did a great work. People are hating, forget them! As long as you enjoy doing the play and it's for fun, not for perfection.
cont ... for this role u realli need it to be a bright "sexy" colour that is normally why red or balck is used! but gold just doesnt have the dominant effect!! as for frank - i think he vocal did realli well! but he needs to embody tht role - he should come out and immediately "own that stage" with presence he didnt do this so much! he was also still sexless for this role infact the other 3 main characters were more sexy with brad and janet than he was! he needs to get up to them and flirt!
it was k i have seen better, i have seen worse! here is constructive criticism for u! i think choreography needs to be looked @ - to me the chorus should be facing the audience and "stickin it" to them not in a circle at the back of the stage! i thought magenta was good - size has NOTHING! to do with it! she did well with the part! thought the ramp was amatuer would have been much better with just a masiive ball of smoke which furter appears from behind! his costume was so wrong! wrong colour!
This is a really awkward production. There is a ton of needless stuff going on, its obvious you were trying to convey the scene as being odd. but It just feels gross and crowded because you've blocked stuff with no written dialogue. On top of that, its not very rocking. The music is so quiet as opposed to the singing that is just off. People are stomping on stage and its just not very clean...
Sorry about that, where's the rest of the show

That old man is senile and incompetent and can't keep a beat worth shit. He threw off the entire song. Also Magenta is too fat.

Hmmm, I wouldn't say he sucks, but nowhere near as good as he is on the film

He's clearly imitating Tom Hewitt from the Broadway Revival, not Curry.
